Chapter 324: Who Is the Guest at Home?
This spokesperson must be chosen to satisfy the public, with no controversy, no negative information, and must fit President Lancaster’s aesthetic standards.
One in more than a hundred thousand must be selected by Dustin Shepherd and his team. Imagine how much data must pass under his eyes.
So Dustin has been incredibly busy recently! Luckily, his work skills are strong.
At lunchtime, Faye Turner met Adrian Lancaster.
She approached him and said, "If you get off work early today, I’d like to visit the old estate to check on Nanny Warren; your mom said she’s having back pain and could use some attention."
"Sure." He agreed readily, "I’m not busy." Only he and Dustin knew that his schedule was indeed packed; there was a lot going on in the company lately.
Faye was very considerate, "If you’re busy, I can go by myself."
"No problem, I’ll go with you and visit Grandpa as well." He was gentle and made people feel warm like a spring breeze.
"Alright."
The girl smiled slightly, waved to him, "See you in the afternoon."
Faye really couldn’t delay any longer; after all, Eliza Hayes had called her, and she needed to heed her mother-in-law’s instructions.
Even though she hadn’t yet received the medication from Dr. Aiken.
Finally, it was time to get off work.
Adrian Lancaster sent Faye a message on WeChat, and then she went downstairs. The two of them walked out of the company lobby together.
Not far from the Lamborghini, Mr. Kerr opened the car door and bowed to them respectfully, "President Lancaster, ma’am."
Both of them greeted him as well, treating him like family and with respect.
They sat together in the back seat, and once Mr. Kerr got in, the car drove towards the old estate.
Meanwhile, employees at the lobby entrance who witnessed this scene started discussing—
"Why can’t Faye Turner just be the spokesperson directly?"
"Yeah, she’s pretty and young, and it would save a lot of money."
"Maybe it’s because she’s pregnant, and President Lancaster doesn’t want her to be so exhausted? You think being a spokesperson isn’t tiring? Behind every glamorous appearance, there’s so much hardship."
"That’s right; there’s no job in this world that’s not tough."
"She’s already Mrs. Lancaster; why would she be a spokesperson? Letting others have the opportunity is good too."
Under the camphor tree in front of the Lancaster family’s grand old mansion.
An elderly man in a white coat was playing chess with a young man, who was tall, gentle, and elegantly dressed in white.
The beautiful sunset filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on them, sipping tea occasionally; the sunlight danced at their fingertips, as if even time had slowed down.
Full of style and charm, this place was fresh and serene,
Soon, the Lamborghini slowly drove into the yard and parked steadily not far away.
The young man in white raised his eyes, smiling gently and beautifully, his looks were somewhat extraordinary, "Grandpa, is Adrian back?"
"Yes." The old man placed a chess piece down, delighted.
The car door opened, and Adrian Lancaster stepped out, gentlemanly extending his hand into the car to help a young, beautiful girl get out.
Evan Sharp focused his gaze on the girl and couldn’t help but praise, "She looks better in person than in the photos taken by reporters, not very photogenic."
"Hahaha." Hearing this, the old man was even happier, "Yes, she’s prettier in person than in the pictures."
Adrian Lancaster wrapped his arm around Faye Turner’s shoulders and led her towards the ancient camphor tree, and Faye noticed the young man in white, "Do we have guests at home?"
"Yes, his name is Evan Sharp, I’ll introduce you later." Adrian Lancaster leaned his handsome head towards her slightly and whispered, "He’s the lawyer friend I told you about."
