Chapter 320: Listen Up, Mr. Lancaster—This Is the Wife Brand

When he saw the girl outside the door, he was first surprised, then grinned with delight, "Long time no see, Miss Turner. Come in and sit down."

"No, no, Dr. Aiken, hello. Do you happen to have any salvia miltiorrhiza?"

Dr. Aiken shook his head, "I’m actually out of it right now. At least two days’ wait, I’m planning to go to the valley tomorrow to dig some up."

Faye Turner thought for a moment, "Could you give me a call if you have some? I need a bit."

"Sure, no problem." He nodded readily.

"Then I won’t bother you anymore. Goodbye." She turned and left with a smile, feeling rather accomplished today.

Afternoon.

Adrian Lancaster had just driven home. As soon as he entered, Miss Lane told him about what happened, "Sir, madam went out today to dig up herbs for Mrs. Lancaster and got her fingers pricked."

Hearing this, Adrian Lancaster felt a clutch in his heart, "Where is she?"

"She’s upstairs." Miss Lane smiled as she watched his expression.

Adrian Lancaster headed upstairs, taking two or three steps at a time. Miss Lane had never seen him this eager.

He was always the type of person who remains calm even if the sky is falling, with no apparent emotions.

On the second floor, in front of the large master bedroom window, Faye Turner watched his car, her smile brightening as she estimated he would be up soon.

She was filled with anticipation and a bit of nervousness but mostly excitement—people who give gifts are always happy.

Because Miss Lane would tell him to come upstairs, and she was waiting for him here.

Not far behind Faye Turner, there hung the suit she had made for him on a clothes rack.

Soon, footsteps could be heard.

She turned excitedly, "You’re back?"

Adrian Lancaster appeared at the door, walking swiftly towards her, his gaze landing on her hands.

With a smile on her face, she gestured towards the suit, "Does it look good?"

"Did you hurt your hand?" He grasped her hand, eyes filled with concern, not even glancing at the suit beside them.

She had two fingers wrapped in band-aids.

Faye Turner was slightly taken aback as he held her hand, his tone surprisingly anxious, "Did you disinfect it after you got back? How is it now? Does it still hurt?"

Warmth surged through her heart.

She gently withdrew her fingers from his palm, smiling slightly, "It doesn’t hurt, just a little scratch. Did Miss Lane tell you?"

"Yes." He looked up, meeting her clear, amber eyes. Recalling her efforts to gather herbs for her mother, he felt deeply touched.

Faye Turner was delighted, as he truly began to care for her.

Coming to her senses, she turned and pushed the mobile clothes rack holding the suit in front of him, "Look at this suit, do you like it?"

Only then did Adrian Lancaster notice the suit. He examined it and asked, "Did you buy this for me?" There was a hint of delight in his deep eyes.

Asking this, he reached out to examine the sleeve, "The fabric is nice, the design is innovative, and the stitching is excellent."

Observing it closely, he couldn’t help but wonder, "What brand is this? I’ve never seen it before."

"It’s good that you’ve never seen it." Her eyes twinkled with mystery, "So, do you want to guess? There’s a prize for guessing right."

Adrian Lancaster furrowed his brows slightly, shaking his head, "No need to guess, I really haven’t seen it before."

Yes, he was exceptionally intelligent from a young age, with a remarkable memory for many things.

Except for the matter with Chloe Gable; she always gave him a sense of déjà vu, yet he could never recall who she was.

Perhaps, it was a memory from a past life.

Faye Turner’s smile was radiant, "Alright then, let me ask you a question first. Do you like this suit?"

He nodded, "I like it." There was no hesitation.

This made Faye Turner extremely happy, justifying all her hard work over the past days.

So, she straightened her chest proudly and informed him, "Listen closely, Mr. Lancaster, this is a ’Wife Brand’!"
