He’s very assertive, but no matter how you listen, it just sounds like he’s merely talking; yet, when such words come out of his mouth, they seem incredibly believable.
Driven by impulse, Tang Yanqi softly spoke, "I have something going on."
She had never considered reaching out to Sheng Jianan. When she looked at the check in her hand, it’s true that Sheng Jianan was the first person she thought of, but she knew it was merely a kind of deep-seated solace. She wouldn’t find Sheng Jianan, and she couldn’t find Sheng Jianan, so she thought of Tang Ruhai.
Yet, Tang Yanqi never expected Sheng Jianan to call, nor did she expect him to say something so unfounded. In her moment of distraction, words slipped out unconsciously.
By the time Tang Yanqi realized what she had said, it was too late. Sheng Jianan had already clearly heard her words.
"Um, what?"
Tang Yanqi remained silent. To ask Tang Ruhai, she didn’t need to explain; she just needed to know who issued this check, because it was a transaction. Tang Ruhai wouldn’t care about any other unnecessary details.

She should provide an explanation, but discussing Qi Cheng’s reputation and privacy, she couldn’t mention it at all.
On the other end, after waiting for a long time without a reply from Tang Yanqi, the announcement for boarding had already started broadcasting outside. Sheng Jianan stood up, "Go find Qiao Zi. You can talk to her about anything, or wait until I get back, okay?"
Tang Yanqi again softly said "okay," and only then did the two hang up the phone.

It wasn’t appropriate for her to go back to school. Mrs. Zhang was still in the villa, but she had nowhere to take Qi Cheng. Hesitating for a second, Tang Yanqi, somehow gathering her courage, redialed Sheng Jianan’s number. She regretted it the moment she dialed, as Sheng Jianan was likely boarding by then.
However, the call miraculously connected, "What’s up?"
On the other end, the noise was very loud, with announcements from flight attendants. Tang Yanqi knew he was about to take off. Without thinking too much, she quickly stated her purpose, "The dorms can’t be stayed in for the next two days. My roommate has nowhere to go, is it possible to..."
Before she could finish, Sheng Jianan interrupted, "Sure, you can bring anyone you want. Let Mrs. Zhang prepare things."
It took several seconds after hanging up the phone for Tang Yanqi to come to her senses. She hadn’t planned on this; her original intent was just to ask if she could borrow his apartment for a few days. She didn’t expect Sheng Jianan to allow her to bring someone to the villa.
Initially, after they got married, there wasn’t anyone else in the villa because he didn’t like having too many people at home. That’s also why Sheng Jianan moved out of the Sheng Family’s old house, and yet he agreed to her request, even before she finished speaking?

On the other end, Sheng Jianan took a moment before takeoff to quickly instruct Mrs. Zhang over the phone.
He had learned a lot about Tang Yanqi’s friendships lately, knowing she had a good relationship with her roommates. Since these people were kind to his woman, he didn’t mind giving them some recognition.
