Chapter 626 - 260: Food on the Plate

After a long while, Li Xiu finally caught his breath. He sat up and rubbed his head, saying to the anxious Sha Chu beside him, "I’m fine, let me take a moment to recover."

After a while, Li Xiu felt much better. He reached up to touch his head, discovering a large bump. Pressing on it made him grimace in pain. Fortunately, he hadn’t used all his strength when he jumped, or his head might have shattered.

"The cave entrance seems to be blocked by an invisible wall, and it seems like there’s an electric current on that wall. Try and see if you can get out," Li Xiu said to Sha Chu.

Hearing this, Sha Chu stood up and looked at the cave entrance above, saying, "Alright, I’ll take a look."

"Be careful." Li Xiu watched from below as Sha Chu climbed up.

When Sha Chu was halfway up, Li Xiu felt much better, so he followed and climbed up as well. His level was much higher than Sha Chu’s, so he quickly caught up with her.

"You’re okay now?" Sha Chu looked at Li Xiu and asked.

"Much better, let’s go up and take a look first." Li Xiu and Sha Chu climbed upward together. Just as they were about to reach the entrance, he stopped and said, "Above is that invisible wall, be careful."

Sha Chu nodded, holding onto the wall with one hand while cautiously reaching up with the other.

However, she didn’t feel anything; her hand passed straight through.

Sha Chu looked at Li Xiu in confusion, "Are you sure it’s here?"

"It’s definitely here." Li Xiu was also a bit puzzled and reached out to feel for it.

As soon as he touched it, he immediately hit the invisible wall and felt as if he’d been shocked by electricity, causing him to fall down again.

After Li Xiu fell down, Sha Chu also jumped down shortly after.

"I tried, and I can go out without any problem. The issue might be on your side," Sha Chu said, seeing that Li Xiu wasn’t as badly off as before and could stand on his own.

Li Xiu’s expression changed slightly, "Those Gem Fruits are definitely problematic. Maybe I’ve absorbed too much of their light energy, causing the issue. You go out first, don’t stay here."

"What about you?" Sha Chu frowned.

"I should be fine for now; you go find Old Knife first," Li Xiu urged Sha Chu to leave, fearing she might also get trapped with him.

Sha Chu nodded and climbed up again.

Li Xiu watched her leave, and sure enough, she encountered no obstruction and easily climbed out of the cave entrance.

"I’ll go find Old Knife right away, wait for me to return," Sha Chu shouted down into the cave twice before quickly leaving.

After Sha Chu left, Li Xiu summoned the Jedi Knight and had him charge toward the cave entrance.

When the Jedi Knight reached the entrance and reached out to touch it, he was struck with electricity just like Li Xiu, bouncing back down.

"Is my magic spirit also isolated?" Li Xiu frowned.

The Jedi Knight was unharmed and soared again, directly entering a Super Spirit State, unleashing a Blood Light Slash with his twin blades, fiercely striking the cave entrance.

Boom!

Blood light scattered chaotically around the entrance; the scarlet moonlight and blade light were shattered. Bright lightning flickered at the entrance.

In the eyes of the Jedi Knight, blood light surged. His twin blades combined into one, unleashing the strongest Unrivaled National Hero strike.

Boom!

The entire cave shook violently with the impact, yet the blade light shattered again. Brilliant light filled the entrance, illuminating it like the sun.

"It still can’t be broken?" Li Xiu’s expression slightly changed.

When the electric light at the entrance dissipated, Li Xiu climbed up again. As he approached the entrance, he drew out his Spiritual Mace, activated it, and struck upward.

Buzz!

The Spiritual Mace pierced the invisible barrier, where the mace head and the invisible barrier collided. Instantly, electric light flared, filling the cave entrance with dazzling brilliance, so intense it was nearly impossible to keep one’s eyes open.

Li Xiu only felt the Spiritual Mace vibrating constantly, yet no current came through. Delighted, he pushed hard on the Spiritual Mace, slowly driving it into the radiant barrier. As the mace penetrated further, cracks began to appear on the invisible barrier.

Ecstatic, Li Xiu exerted all his strength to break through the invisible barrier and escape.

Suddenly, the light shrouding the entrance expanded, transforming into a hemisphere of light that enveloped the area around the entrance.

From the outside, it looked like half a sun inverted on the ground, enveloping the entire palace ruins.

Inside the sphere, the light wasn’t as bright. Li Xiu saw that where his Spiritual Mace had penetrated, it resembled glass. Half of the mace was stuck in the glass.

Above the glass, the space warped mysteriously. The original ruins were replaced by a magnificent palace.

The entire palace exuded a splendid glow, as if it were the dwelling place of a god.

The cave’s position was right at the palace’s center, and above the glass-like object, a dining table emitting Divine Light appeared prominently.

The table was set with dazzling cutlery: plates, cups, knives, forks, all exuding divine light, each item seemingly brimming with unimaginable light energy.

Behind the table sat a man dressed in formal attire, appearing like an enigmatic gentleman.

The light emanating from the man was even more intense, so much that his features were obscured. Glowing with an intense halo, the man sat before the dining table as if gazing down upon Li Xiu beneath the glass like a deity.
