"Aren’t you going to escape?" Li Boyang scrutinized Li Xiu with keen interest.

"Why should I escape?" Li Xiu retorted without hesitation.

"You chose to ascend to unparalleled here, isn’t it to lead me into the Time Tunnel? I suppose Jinghao has already told you that only in that Time Tunnel can you kill me. At this point, why cover it up? If you want to enter the Time Tunnel, I’ll accompany you," Li Boyang said confidently.

"It’s unnecessary," Li Xiu replied blandly.

"Are you doubting Jinghao?" Li Boyang smiled and said, "Then you’ve misunderstood him. He might deceive anyone, but he would never deceive you. Someone like him typically doesn’t have friends, yet he regards you as one. It’s puzzling; many would trade everything for his trust, but he remains unmoved. It’s those like you who don’t value him that he deems as friends. Quite unusual, isn’t it?"

"Indeed, I don’t regard Guan Jinghao as a friend, not because I look down on him, but because our personalities clash. This doesn’t mean I doubt his character; I’ve never questioned him," Li Xiu responded.

"Since you trust him, why not enter the Time Tunnel?" Li Boyang considered briefly, then realized, "It seems you have a deep-seated prejudice against me, believing I’ve been manipulating Jinghao from the start, using him to manipulate you, right?"

Li Xiu shook his head again, "You’re overthinking. I have no need to enter the Time Tunnel."

"That’s quite interesting. Without entering the Time Tunnel, how do you plan to kill me?" Li Boyang found it increasingly amusing.

Li Xiu didn’t answer, simply raised his arm, his fingers mimicking a gun, targeting Li Boyang’s forehead.

"Your Light Planting Technique is indeed wondrous, refining such profound Light Energy with your body as the seed. Even I can’t discern the nature of your Light Energy. Fine, before you turn into my key, let your existence leave one final radiance in this world," Li Boyang stood with hands behind his back, showing no intention to defend or attack.

Li Xiu’s finger trembled, and a strange force descended directly before Li Boyang as if there had never been an intermediary process.

Jiang Lanling’s emotions were complex, her eyes glued to Li Boyang, eager to see whether Li Xiu’s attack could hurt him.

Despite Li Boyang’s almost invincible body, the power Li Xiu displayed was equally extraordinary.

Looking at the bullet halted before him, Li Boyang said with some disappointment, "I thought your power would be of what degree. It turns out to be just so, somewhat disappointing."

Speaking, Li Boyang reached out, plucked the bullet wrapped in purple like picking fruit, and played with it at will.

"Haven’t used any power outside my physique for years in this world. Let’s play a bit," with that, Li Boyang flicked his wrist, and the bullet in his hand vanished instantly.

Jiang Lanling’s shock was beyond words. As powerful as Li Xiu was, he seemed to have no way against Li Boyang, whose true power was even more formidable than she had anticipated, possibly an invincible existence in the world.

My power was ineffective against you before because you were outside the rules. Now that you’re within, you have no special privileges."

Li Boyang wiped the bullet wound from his forehead, a glance of unfathomable emotion in his eyes, a hint of a smile began to emerge at the corner of his mouth, "So you knew all along, deliberately gave me the Purgatory Force, to bring me into the rules. Excellent, truly excellent, no wonder you were my chosen one. When did you find out?"

"Not too long ago, once I learned you laid so many traps on me, I no longer held any false hopes. You sent me to the Gate of Purgatory, certainly with an ulterior motive," Li Xiu said.
