Chapter 335 - 334: Out of Our League with Rich People

Damian Sinclair heard their conversation from the attic, a slight smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, and he murmured to himself, "Calling him a big bad bug, Bella, your courage is truly growing."

Clearly, his head was dizzy due to the cold, yet his mood was surprisingly good.

Below the attic, Ethan raised his head and said, "Aunt Sienna, there’s a big bug in Bella’s room, it bit Bella’s mouth, we should get some medicine to get rid of it."

"Children shouldn’t speak nonsense." Aunt Sienna quickly covered Ethan’s mouth, glanced at the attic, and left with the children.

The children, like Ethan, were too young to understand, but how could she not see through it?

Bella’s earlier appearance clearly suggested she had been kissed.

So, does this mean Bella and Mr. Sinclair have reconciled?

"Sean, I wasn’t speaking nonsense. The big bug bullied Bella." Ethan was puzzled as to why Aunt Sienna kept the big bug.

Aunt Sienna smiled and said, "Your sister Bella actually likes this big bug, so we can’t use medicine to get rid of him, okay?"

"Huh? Bella likes bugs?" Ethan tilted his head, "But last time when Ethan caught a green bug and gave it to Bella, she was so scared she almost cried." Green bugs turn into butterflies and don’t bite people, much cuter than big bugs.

"That’s because your sister Bella only likes this big bug and doesn’t like the others." Aunt Sienna said, "Alright, go write now."

Ethan sighed, realizing Bella’s favorite big bug was quite special, being the kind that bites lips.

Grown-up world is truly incomprehensible.

Ethan shook his head, took the other kids to write, and quickly forgot about the whole thing.

Aunt Sienna saw them writing on their own, so she went to the yard to help out.

With the help of a fully automatic washing machine, it was much faster than washing by hand.

Bella Acker took the last few favorite clothes from the washing machine and carried them to the drying rack.

Aunt Sienna stepped forward, taking the clothes to help hang them up.

Bella Acker’s cheeks were slightly red, still not daring to meet Aunt Sienna’s eyes.

"Bella, what happened between you and Mr. Sinclair before?" Aunt Sienna asked.

Previously worried about Bella being sad, Aunt Sienna hadn’t asked much. Now seeing they seemed to have reconciled, she finally asked.

"It’s nothing, just a few small misunderstandings." Bella Acker said, "Aunt Sienna, don’t worry, I know how to take care of myself. With Ethan and the others already enough to keep you busy, you don’t need to worry about my affairs."

"You’re such a child, always keeping everything to yourself and not saying anything. Don’t you know that by not speaking, we worry even more?" Aunt Sienna sighed, "Actually, I’m not very keen on you being with Mr. Sinclair. We’re poor and can’t reach those wealthy families. Plus, a lot of rich people in TV shows are very arrogant, looking down on people like us with no status or background. Aunt Sienna’s afraid you’ll be wronged being with Mr. Sinclair."

Those elders who love money want their children to marry into wealth, but only truly caring parents think about whether their kids will be mistreated.

Bella Acker was touched, she reached out to hug Aunt Sienna, and said, "Aunt Sienna, I understand. But my being with Damian has never been about his money or status. I’m with him because I like him. Moreover, I’ll work hard to make myself better, ensuring our relationship stays pure and uninfluenced by other factors."

"You always have your own ideas, but sometimes you’re very silly, once you get stubborn, no matter what others say, you won’t listen and insist on figuring things out only after getting hurt."
