Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife

Chapter 310 - 309: Damian Sinclair’s Hatred

Chapter 310 - 309: Damian Sinclair’s Hatred

Damian Sinclair gripped the steering wheel tightly, his mind seething with resentment.

When she’s with him, she acts all pitiful and sweet to gain favor, yet now just taking a call from someone else, she cautiously introduces him merely as a friend.

And yet, he was swayed by her previous sweetness, even secretly delighted, thinking of tossing away all principles. As long as she was willing to stay by his side, he could forgive her betrayal.

Damian Sinclair, when did you become so stupid, like a pig!

Bella Acker sensed the suddenly oppressive atmosphere around her and carefully glanced at Damian Sinclair from the corner of her eye.

In truth, she wanted to happily introduce to Senior Quinn that she was with her boyfriend now.

But Damian already said he was breaking up with her, and with such cold-heartedness, how could she dare to introduce him like that?

Bella withdrew her gaze, clutching her phone tightly with her fingers.

On the other end, Archer Quinn perceived something odd in her tone and asked with concern, "Bella, what’s wrong? Are you not feeling well?"

"Senior Quinn, I’m fine," Bella said. "Senior Quinn, are you still filming?"

"No, we wrapped up early today," Archer Quinn replied. "Bella, have you been wronged?"

Bella was slightly stunned; she indeed felt a lot of grievances in her heart, but those grievances weren’t something she could easily share.

"No," Bella said. "Senior Quinn, I still have to meet some friends, so I’ll talk to you later, okay?"

"Bella, wait a moment," Archer Quinn paused before speaking again. "Whenever you need, I can be your support. Don’t let yourself be wronged, okay?"

"Hm, I know," Bella responded softly, but hearing his concern only made her feel even more wronged.

Why is it that friends can show concern for each other so freely, yet lovers are filled with conflicts and arguments?

Perhaps thinking his previous words were too ambiguous, Archer Quinn chuckled lightly and added, "Before you joined the crew, Shannon called and asked me to look after you more. She’ll be joining the crew in a few days, and if she knows you’ve been wronged, she’ll give me a hard time. So, Bella, don’t hold your grievances inside. You still have us as friends."

"Okay," Bella’s eyes instantly turned red as she bit her lower lip and said, "Senior Quinn, then I’ll hang up now."

On the other side, Archer Quinn seemed to be doing something, and after a while, he gently said, "Alright, if you need anything, just call me. Goodbye."

After hanging up, Archer Quinn’s assistant eyed his face and clicked his tongue twice, saying, "Brother Quinn, if you ask me, you have the looks, the money, and the status. Why are you being so cautious about pursuing a girl?"

Archer Quinn, holding his phone, didn’t respond.

The assistant continued, "Brother Quinn, honestly, I think Bella is quite slow when it comes to romantic feelings. If you don’t make it obvious, she might never realize it."

"It’s not that she’s slow," Archer Quinn laughed at himself, almost as if talking to himself. "It’s because her heart already belongs to someone, so she can’t see any other man but him."

"What?" the assistant couldn’t hear clearly as Archer Quinn spoke so softly.

Archer Quinn shook his head, "It’s nothing. You go back; I want to take a walk by myself."

He should have realized long ago that there was someone in her heart, yet he chose to deceive himself, thinking he still had a chance.
