Chapter 352: Ch 352: Cosmic Battlefield (1)

One of the Spiritas, a tall figure with a faint bluish glow around his body, took a cautious step forward. His voice echoed lightly in the air as he asked, "Who are you?"

The young man slowly turned around.

His eyes were calm and his expression showed no fear. His clothes were slightly dusty, but they couldn’t hide the powerful energy gently pulsing from his body.

Emrys looked at the Spiritas and replied in a steady voice: "No need to worry about me. I don’t have any ill intention. I am Emrys Frazier."

His voice was not loud, yet it seemed to echo through the air.

For a moment, none of the Spiritas spoke. They exchanged glances with each other. This name, Emrys Frazier, they had never heard of it. Yet, the pressure they felt from this young man made it clear that he was no ordinary human.

The one who had asked the question stepped forward again. His eyes narrowed as he looked at the monument, and then spoke again, "I’m On’ar Liss, from the Liss Family of Yoharselum, one of the ten holy grounds of Spiritas. We five came from Yoharselum to explore the dark desert and see if we could obtain something from ancient sites. This place seemed to be one of the ancient sites. As for that monument, none of us recognize the symbols engraved on its surface. But we saw you observing it carefully. Could it be that you recognize those symbols?"

Emrys looked at the monument behind him, then back at the Spiritas. He has to admit this Spiritas is clever. He first introduced himself as someone who came from a powerful family of one of the ten holy grounds of Spiritas. This symbolizes his status, an he hoped to pressure Emrys by revealing his background.

Then he asked if Emrys understood what was written on the monument.

On’ar must have thought of making Emrys tell them everything if he understood the symbols engraved on the monument. And if he doesn’t, then perhaps, in their eyes, Emrys has no use and can be discarded.

However, how can Emrys be deterred by these Spiritas?

Talking about Spiritas, this was the first time he was looking at one in front of him. The first time he saw a Spiritas was when he looked at Spiritaium from the perspective of God.

But, if your choice is to enter the cosmic battlefield, then drip a drop of blood on the monument, and you’ll enter a white space. That space is safe and you can leave behind your body there without worry. No harm can reach your body in that space."

"There, all you need to do is to think of entering the cosmic battlefield, and your consciousness will be transferred. At the same time, your consciousness will be connected to the white space.
