Chapter 350: Ch 350: A Terrifying Monster Indeed

The monster was stunned momentarily when it saw Emrys regaining his senses. It didn’t seem to believe someone was able to stay conscious even after hearing that sound.

However, the next moment, it shook its head and looked at the sky.

For a second, Emrys felt as if the monster was roaring loudly in anger, but there was no sound. He could not help but feel very strange.

Something was definitely bizarre with this monster.

No attack was working on this monster.

Seeing that it can always recover back to its perfect self, Emrys had no choice but to take action differently. He still has a few hidden cards that can be used to deal with this monster, but the safest way is to disintegrate it completely.

While Emrys was still thinking, a dark aura exploded from the monster’s body and expanded, reaching out to Emrys and wrapping around him like chains in an instant.

Suddenly, a terrifying chill filled the air.

The moment the dark energy wrapped around him, Emrys felt a deep coldness pierce into his skin and flow into his blood. It wasn’t just a cold that touched the body, it was a cold that reached the soul. His heart thumped violently as he felt the monster’s energy trying to devour him.

It was trying to suck out his life, his energy, and his soul.

The chains of weird dark energy twisted tighter, and Emrys could feel his vitality weakening slightly, as if he was being drained dry little by little.

His vitality was very strong, but being drained out of even a little bit of vitality made him feel uncomfortable.

But he did not panic. His gaze turned sharp like a blade. He didn’t back down. His presence again started trying to push back the darkness that surrounded him.

"Get... off me!" Emrys growled.

BOOM!

Emrys then exploded with his terrifying aura. His aura burned bright. Just the momentum of releasing his aura was outstanding, not to mention the pressure that erupted immediately.

His body shone with dazzling light.

The eruption of his aura was like a tidal wave. They burned like a raging fire.

The dark chains trembled.

Cracks appeared all over them.

And then...

CRACK! CRACK!

SHATTER!

They shattered into dust, unable to resist the force of his aura.

Emrys floated in the sky like a blazing star right in front of the monster. His hair danced wildly in the wind. His eyes glowed fiercely, and his breath was calm but powerful. He lifted his right hand slowly and snapped.

The snapping sound was soft, yet it actually echoed across the land like thunder from the heavens.

The moment Emrys snapped his finger, the air around the monster twisted strangely.

The monster’s red eyes flickered with alarm for the first time. But it was already too late.

CRACK!

The monster’s body froze, and then it shattered into countless tiny dark fragments, and like ashes being scattered by a hurricane, it dissipated into the air.

Its entire existence disintegrated completely.

The terrifying clone of the monster was gone just like that. It was erased from the world.

Silence filled the space. Only Emrys stood there, floating in the air. But he did not relax. He could still feel a trace of that dark aura somewhere far beneath the earth.

Although he could no longer see that monster’s original body, he knew it was still there.

The clone was only a fragment of this monster, but it was still far too powerful for Emrys to deal with it by relying solely on his strength.

What about the monster’s real body?

No roar or sound echoed in the air even after the clone was erased from the world by Emrys, but a few seconds later, the entire forest quivered. The tremor was very intense, so much so that the ground cracked open in long, jagged lines, and already broken trees and crumbled houses collapsed into the crack, disappearing, leaving behind only a smoky cloud full of dust.

Emrys narrowed his eyes. He knew this was done by that monster’s real body.

For some reason, it seems this monster could not speak, roar, or growl like other monsters.

"What kind of demon are you?" Emrys muttered silently.

The smoky clouds slowly began to settle, and the air calmed slowly.

Emrys observed the surroundings for a while and then disappeared. He did not try to investigate or know more about the monster.

That monster, even in the state of being sealed, was capable of creating such a terrifying clone.

Obviously, it is not a simple monster.

What would happen if the seal is broken?

Emrys could not even think.

What is that monster? Why is it sealed? Who sealed it? What exactly happened to this village?

All these questions could only be answered by someone who knows this village like the back of his hand. And there was only one person Emrys could think of right now.

Yes, it is the founder of the village.

So, Emrys planned to visit him in the dark desert and see if he could awaken him.

Emrys didn’t know that after he disappeared from the destroyed forest, dark energy started rising from the ground, spreading everywhere. Very soon, this dark energy covered millions of miles of land. And then, a miraculous sight appeared.

Time seemed to have been reverted.

The destroyed forest was restored. Even the crumbled village stood up once again. Those villagers also appeared, and just like before, they continued their daily routine as if nothing happened.

If there was any difference, then it was an old man. This old man no longer had the Eyes of Stars. Instead of those bright eyes, it had a pair of completely dark eyes. Moreover, the aura on the old man’s body was very sinister. He no longer appeared to be a mortal. His entire existence seemed to have changed completely.

The old man touched his eyes and rage flared inside his heart. Unfortunately, he could not do anything since the person responsible for the change in his eyes was no longer inside the village.
