Chapter 331: Ch 331: Nine Absolute Soul Laws

While Emrys’s Soul Sea was transforming due to the Soulforge Prism Orb, a great phenomenon descended in the corner of Spiritarium.

Vast Expanse of Eternity has a total of nine rules. These rules are also called the Nine Absolute Rules.

These Nine Absolute Rules are the Rules of Time and Space, Creation and Destruction, Light and Darkness, Life and Death, Yin and Yang, Devour and Slaughter, and finally, Order and Chaos, Progress and Regression, and Redemption and Damnation.

These nine Absolute Rules come in pairs. But, when they reach the point of becoming absolute, they are counted as one.

For example, Rules of Space and Time. At the point where they become absolute, these two rules become two sides of a single coin. They can never be separated.

We can also understand this with different rules.

Let’s say, Rules of Creation and Destruction.

Where there is creation, destruction always happens.

Where there is light, darkness always descends.

Where there is life, death becomes the ultimate truth.

Where there is Yin, Yang must rise.

Where there is Devour, Slaughter follows.

Where there is Order, Chaos stirs beneath. After all, Order gives structure, and Chaos breathes life.

Where there is Progression, Regression waits in silence.

Where there is Redemption, Damnation leaves its shadow.

These rules are all connected to each other, thus at the point of becoming absolute, they are counted as one.

If a cultivator, then be it Qi Cultivator, Chaos Energy Cultivator, Cosmic Cultivator, or cultivator from other cultivation systems, wants to further increase their strength, they must comprehend at least one out of nine absolute rules.

This is the first step.

However, Spiritas and Soul Cultivators are different.

They don’t need to comprehend any of these nine rules. They have a separate set of nine Absolute Soul Laws.

These nine Absolute Soul Laws are the Soul Law of Origin, Soul Law of Brilliance, Soul Law of Shadows, Soul Law of Will, Soul Law of Emotions, Soul Law of Time, Soul Law of Death, Soul Law of Unity, and Soul Law of Ascension.

And currently, these Nine absolute Soul Laws were responding to Emrys’s rapid ascent.

His Soul Cultivation wasn’t just rising, it was transforming.

His aura deepened as it grew colder and brighter.

He understood that the Soul Law of Brilliance can make his soul shine brighter. This Law controls clarity, wisdom, inspiration, and soul defense. It’s kind of tied to the Aura of Brilliance. Aura of Brilliance is just a blessing to all Soul Cultivators from this Absolute Soul Law.

He understood that the Soul Law of Shadows can add a deep and quiet power inside him. This Law is the dominion of deception, concealment, and soul corruption.

He understood that The Soul Law of Will can make his soul very strong. This Law can make him resistant to outer control or corruption. It can immensely increase his endurance, and make him have unbreakable resolve. Soul Cultivators can dominate weaker wills, break mental control, or shield minds from influence with the help of this law.

He understood that the Soul Law of Emotions can help him understand the feelings of others. But this much is only the surface. It controls empathy, passion, madness, and soul influence. A Soul Cultivator who controls this law can amplify or suppress emotions, and even weaponize them to harm or kill others.

He understood that the Soul Law of Time could let him sense the flow of time more clearly. This Law can rule a soul’s memory, control soul aging, reincarnation paths, and several timelines. Only few Soul Cultivators can even comprehend this law, let alone control it.

He comprehended that the Soul Law of Death could make him see through death at the soul level. This Law can help a Soul cultivator rule over soul decay, the cycle of reincarnation, soul reaping, and even the death of a soul.

He comprehended that the Soul Law of Unity can connect his mind and soul with the world around him. This Law can help a Soul Cultivator govern bonds, contracts, synchronization, and fusion. The simplest use a Soul Cultivator can make out of this law is connecting themselves to their descendants or even past or future and share their own strength.

He understood that the Soul Law of Ascension can help his soul transcend. This Law is the highest and rarest of the Soul Laws. It can help a Soul Cultivator control evolution, and transcendence, and even show them the path to the unknown. Perhaps, even in or before the Sage Era in the Vast Expanse of Eternity, only one or two Spiritas have ever comprehended this rule.

Emrys understood this much, but this much was only a trace of what the nine Absolute Rules truly can offer.
