Walker Of The Blue Sky

Chapter 322: Ch 322: Ascension

Chapter 322: Ch 322: Ascension

The land was full of tall and strong mountains stretching as far as the eye could see. The sky above was dark, covered by thick clouds that moved slowly. The wind howled through the rocky cliffs, making a deep, echoing sound. In the middle of this mountainous land, there was a huge circular formation carved into the ground. The formation was ancient and mysterious, glowing with a faint red light.

At each corner of the formation, strange symbols and runes were carved deeply into the ground. Each symbol was different, carrying a special power. Some looked like twisting flames, some like flowing rivers, and others like the endless sky. The runes were shining faintly, pulsing like a heartbeat, as if they were alive.

At the center of this formation, a massive shaft was floating in the air. It was not touching the ground, but it remained suspended with the help of a strange energy. Flickering red energy could be seen emerging from the ground in a circular manner, rising upward and wrapping around the shaft like living flames. This energy was powerful and chaotic, twisting and turning as if it wanted to break free.

The shaft itself was no ordinary object. It was a Heavenly Soul Weapon. This shaft only had one use, and that is to forcefully open a path between two dimensions. This particular shaft had the power to connect the universe to the Spiritarium. By using this weapon, it was possible to create a pathway, a bridge between the lower and higher lands.

All the Soul Masters, who descended to this universe, used methods like using this shaft tear open a path. Otherwise, they would not have been able to enter this universe.

A powerful presence was emanating from the shaft, spreading in all directions. Even from far away, one could feel its terrifying strength. The ground around the formation trembled slightly under its force, and the air became heavy, making it difficult to breathe.

Five people could be seen standing inside the formation.

Three of them were "outsiders". They had been subdued by Emrys, and now, they were ready to return to their land. They stood silently, their faces calm but their eyes flickering with complex emotions.

The other two people inside the formation were Emrys and Serafina.

Emrys stood with his usual calm expression, his golden eyes shining faintly as he observed everything. His posture was relaxed, but his presence was overwhelming, making it clear that he was in complete control.

Beside him, Serafina stood with a composed look. Her long red hair swayed slightly in the wind, and her red eyes gleamed with a mysterious light. She had changed greatly after obtaining the Dark Moon and breaking through to the peak of the Eternal Sky Realm.

About a hundred meters away, two people stood watching everything silently.

They were Emrys’s parents.

They did not speak, but their eyes remained fixed on their son. Their expressions carried deep emotions such as pride, worry, and a hint of sadness. They knew that once Emrys left, they would never meet again. But one thing is sure their son would walk a path far beyond anything they could imagine after stepping into the Spiritarium.

And now, the moment had come.

Emrys and Serafina were ready to leave this universe.

A day earlier, after Serafina completed her breakthrough, she made a request to Emrys. She wanted to go with him to Spiritarium. She knew he was about to ascend, and she did not want to stay behind.

Emrys thought for a moment. He saw no reason to refuse her. After all, she was now an Eternal Sky Soul Demon and not just any Eternal Sky Soul Demon, she was at the peak of this realm. She had already reached the highest level she could in this universe. Staying here any longer would not help her grow stronger.

So, he agreed to bring her with him.

However, he also gave her a warning. Spiritarium was a higher-level land, and it might be dangerous for a Soul Demon like her. Even though there might be other Soul Demons in Spiritarium, there was no guarantee they would be friendly toward her.

But Serafina only smiled. She told him that if she want to become stronger, she must face danger. There is no need to worry. She is ready for whatever is to come.

And that was how Serafina appeared here, standing beside Emrys, ready to ascend with Emrys and others.

Now, the time had come.

"Let’s activate the formation," Emrys said.

The three outsiders nodded without hesitation. They were the ones who built this formation, so they knew exactly how to use it. Without wasting time, they released their Soul Force and sent it into the floating shaft.

The shaft immediately began to vibrate. It shook at a high speed, and a powerful energy burst out from it. The energy was wild and strong, spreading in all directions.

At the same time, the formation on the ground lit up. The symbols and runes carved into the earth glowed brilliantly, shining with a mix of red, blue, gold, green, and purple colors. The light twisted and merged, and soon formed a dazzling pattern.

Then, a pillar of light shot up from the formation!

The light was massive, thick like a towering mountain, and it shot straight into the sky. It was so bright that it made everything else look dark. The energy from the light shook the entire mountain range, causing the ground to tremble.

The shaft also released its own beam of light, merging with the pillar from the formation. Together, they pierced through the sky, reaching higher and higher.

The moment the light touched the clouds, everything changed.

The air trembled. The space around them was distorted, and a strange energy filled the area.

And then...

When the light finally faded, Emrys’s parents saw that everyone was gone. Emrys, Serafina, and the three outsiders had disappeared completely.

The shaft was also gone.

As for the formation, it was completely destroyed. The glowing runes had vanished, the symbols were gone, and the carved lines in the ground were broken apart.

Emrys’s parents stood there in silence, staring at the empty space where their son had once been. There was sadness in their eyes. They stayed there for a long time, staring blankly at the space, and then turned around to leave slowly.
