Chapter 320: Ch 320: Breaking The Seal (2)
Slivya and Alex’s faces changed when they heard Emrys saying that he was ready to ascend. They did not expect Emrys to want to ascend so soon.
They exchanged glances with each other. Then Slivya looked at her son with worry and asked hesitantly, "Can’t you stay a few more years?"
Alex also spoke with reluctances. "There is no rush, right. Why don’t you stay with us for some more time."
But Emrys had another idea. He truly did not want to stay here any longer. Staying for longer would only mean wasting his time and potential for growth. In the end, he shook his head and said, "I have already delayed my ascension for far too long. I truly can’t stay any longer."
His voice was calm, but firm.
Slivya and Alex looked at each other. Although they were already expecting this exact answer from their son, when they truly heard it, they could not help but feel disappointed.
They sighed with some regret. In their life’s own race, they spent far too few time with their son. Now, there is nothing they could do. Although they were disappointed, they could only accept it.
Slivya forced a smile and said softly. "Alright!"
Alex also nodded. "If this is your choice, we won’t stop you."
Then, the two of them turned to look at Serafina. She still had a shocked expression on her face. Obviously, she did not expect to hear Emrys saying that he was planning to ascend and enter Spiritarium.
Slivya smiled knowingly. She looked at Alex, and he gave a small nod. Slivya then said, "We’ll leave you two alone."
Alex said nothing, but he followed his wife out of the room.
Now, only Emrys and Serafina remained inside the living room. There was silence for a moment. Then, Emrys turned to Serafina. His voice was gentle as he asked, "How have you been?"
Serafina blinked. She quickly calmed herself and answered, "I’m well... but a little frustrated."
Emrys raised an eyebrow. "Frustrated?"
Serafina hesitated for a moment. Then, she asked, "What is your cultivation level now?"
She was curious. She had seen how powerful he was, but she didn’t know his exact cultivation. Although she guessed he must be an Eternal Sky Soul Master, but still wanted to hear it from Emrys.
Emrys smiled, saying: "I am strong enough to survive in Spiritarium with ease."
His answer was not clear, but it was enough.
Serafina fell silent. She could tell that he was far beyond her level.
Just as she was thinking, Emrys suddenly took something out of his dimensional space. It was a weapon shaped like a crescent moon.
The moment Serafina saw it, her eyes widened. She was dumbfounded. Her body shuddered a little. Then she exclaimed, "You... You actually brought out the Dark Moon?"
Her voice was filled with disbelief. For a moment, she could not accept the fact that Emrys managed to bring out the Dark Moon from the Fourth Layer of Lightning Domain at the last moment.
Emrys simply handed the weapon to her.
Serafina held the Dark Moon in her hands. The moment she touched the weapon, she could feel the demonic aura inside. It was trying to break free, but failed every time due to being sealed.
She took a deep breath.
Now, all she had to do was find a way to break the seal. Once she did, her strength would increase again.
Serafina held the Dark Moon tightly. Her fingers traced over its smooth, cold surface. Her eyes were full of deep emotions. Emrys could see shock, excitement, and disbelief on her face.
She stared at the weapon as if she was looking at a long-lost treasure. Her lips parted slightly, and her breathing became slower. She gently ran her fingers over the weapon’s edge, feeling the sealed power within. Her red eyes glowed faintly.
At that moment, Emrys spoke. "If you want, I can help you break the seal."
His voice was casual, but it brought Serafina’s attention to him.
"Really?" Serafina’s head snapped up as she asked in surprise. She did not expect this at all. She did not believe that Emrys could actually break the seal.
After all, in the legends of Soul Demons, the Dark Moon was a Soulbound Weapon. This weapon holds a terrifying strength. But it was still sealed millions of years ago by a powerful Soul Master during the great war.
That Soul Master’s strength was far beyond the Eternal Sky Soul Master’s level.
It was said that no one from this universe could ever break the seal. Only experts from Spiritarium could.
However, not being able to break the seal didn’t lower the value of this weapon. It is all because of a single fact that the material used to create this Dark Moon was the bone of an extremely powerful Soul Demon rumored to have entered Spiritarium long ago.
She looked at Emrys with doubt. But Emrys only smiled.
Without another word, he reached out and took the Dark Moon from her hands. Then, he tapped it a few times.
Crack!
Just like that, the seal was broken. It was broken that easily!
Serafina was stunned.
Before she could react, a horrifying dark soul force exploded from the weapon. The air trembled violently. Dark energy poured out of the Dark Moon like a raging storm. It was thick, heavy, and filled with terrifying power.
The entire room turned dark in an instant. A deep and eerie growl echoed from the weapon, like the roar of a thousand demons. A chilling wind swept through the room, making the walls shake.
The ground beneath them cracked slightly.
A terrifying pressure fell on Serafina’s body, making it hard for her to breathe. Her eyes widened as she felt the overwhelming power of the Dark Moon.
This was the true strength of the weapon!
What shocked her the most was how easily Emrys broke the seal.
What kind of strength he must have?
Could it be that he has already surpassed the limit of this universe while still being inside the universe?
How is this possible?
She just could not bring herself to believe it.
