Chapter 317: Ch 317: Sphere of Light

The lightning energy inside the Lightning Domain was becoming more and more chaotic. It was no longer just wild, it was terrifying.

Even the sky started twisting and roaring as if a monster was waking up. Thick bolts of lightning were again born, but this time, without clouds. They fell from above like giant dragons, slamming into the ground with deafening explosions. The land cracked open, splitting apart like shattered glass. Some parts of the ground disappeared completely, swallowed by the violent energy.

The air itself became dangerous. It crackled with power, shaking everything nearby. Every second, more and more lightning bolts crashed down, creating a blinding storm of destruction.

Emrys knew he had no time to waste.

With a single thought, he teleported beside the moon-shaped weapon. It was floating in the air, unmoving despite the storm around it. The divine runes on its surface glowed faintly, suppressing the dark Soul Force inside. But even with the seals, Emrys could feel the terrifying power hidden within.

Without hesitation, he grabbed the weapon. The moment his fingers touched it, dark soul force pulsed from the blade, but Emrys ignored it.

In the next instant, he teleported outside the Lightning Domain.

Just as he reappeared outside, the entire Lightning Domain erupted.

BOOM!

A massive explosion shook the sky. The lightning energy inside the domain had completely lost control. Countless bolts of lightning shot out in every direction, turning the entire area into a sea of destruction. The land collapsed, swallowed by endless storms of energy. The sky turned black, covered in wild, crackling power.

It was as if a god had unleashed its fury upon the world. The sheer force of the explosion sent shockwaves far beyond the domain, shaking mountains and forests miles away.

Even standing outside, Emrys could feel the terrifying power.

Holding the moon-shaped weapon tightly, Emrys looked at the raging destruction in silence for a few seconds and then grabbed Serafina before disappearing.

It was also at this time the storm of lightning bolts surged out of the lightning domain, affecting hundreds of miles of the surrounding land.

The once-mighty Lightning Domain, which has been there for who knows how many years, was now collapsing.

Emrys appeared on top of a tall mountain. He was holding Serafina in his arms. His golden eyes looked at the scene before him.

The Lightning Domain was completely out of control. The sky was actually breaking apart now. Endless bolts of lightning crashed down, creating a sea of destruction. The land twisted and cracked, turning into floating pieces of rock. The air was filled with the sharp smell of burning energy.

Everything was being destroyed.

Even from far away, Emrys could feel the power of the eruption. The ground beneath the mountain shook violently, as if the world itself was afraid.

Emrys remained calm. He did not panic. There was no need for him to panic. Even if the entire Celestial Horizon is destroyed, he will not be affected.

However, it doesn’t mean he would let the eruption of lightning energy continue the destruction.

Without a word, Emrys waved his hand, and immediately, something unbelievable happened.

The entire Lightning Domain, including the land affected by the explosion, started to disappear. The roaring lightning, the crashing land, the burning sky—everything vanished in an instant.

What appeared instead was a small sphere of light.

Emrys raised his hand and that small sphere of light was pulled into his palm. The sphere of light was glowing softly, pulsing with destructive energy.

Nevertheless, not a single strand of energy was able to break free of the constraint of the sphere.

This small sphere was not an ordinary object. It was the entire Lightning Domain. The storm, the lightning, the land...everything had been sealed inside this tiny ball of light.

It had all happened too fast.

If someone could slow down and watch carefully when Emrys waved his hand earlier, they would see something shocking.

First, Emrys’s body shone with golden light for a brief moment. His Aura of Brilliance spread out, covering nearly all of Celestial Horizon.

Every Gold Soul Master and above has their own Aura of Brilliance. It is also their personal domain.

Emrys’s golden domain, the Aura of Brilliance, gave him absolute control over everything within it.

Then, using his ability ⧼Light Manipulation⧽, he bent and controlled the light inside his domain. With just a thought, he used the light to cut apart a massive section of land, which amounts to hundreds of thousands of miles wide. This included the Lightning Domain and everything surrounding it.

But he was not done.

Next, he used his Authority over Lightning.

Although he did not completely stop the eruption, he slowed it down by 200%. The wild lightning energy, which was exploding like a storm, became sluggish for a brief moment.

That short moment was enough.

He then used his Authority over Space. The space around the Lightning Domain was locked and sealed completely. The erupting energy had no way to escape.

Finally, with his control over space and lightning, he shrank everything. The entire land, the storm, the destruction...all of it was compressed into the small sphere of light now resting in his palm.

Now, the Lightning Domain no longer exists on Celestial Horizon. Instead, in its place, there was now an enormous pit.

This pit was not small. It stretched over hundreds of thousands of miles, as if a giant hand had scooped out a massive part of the world.

The land was gone.

The sky above the pit was empty.

The air was silent.

The terrifying storm that had been raging just moments ago... was now contained within the small sphere in Emrys’s hand.

Emrys looked at it silently.

A deep power flowed through his fingers as he held the glowing ball. He had removed an entire domain from the surface of the world. And yet, he felt calm. As if this was just another step in his journey.

He turned his gaze toward the unconscious Serafina in his arms. She had no idea what had just happened.

Without saying a word, Emrys disappeared from the mountain peak with Serafina once again.
