Chapter 261: Ch 261: Sneak Peek To A Corner Of Eternity
Chapter 261: Ch 261: Sneak Peek To A Corner Of Eternity
Far, far away in the deep darkness of the void, there was a tiny point of light.
This tiny point of light looked so small that it felt like a little star far in the distance. But as you get closer to it, it grows bigger and bigger.
If you get even closer, you will see that it is not just a little light; it is actually a huge world, so big that it might even be many times larger than Spiritarium. It was the most massive place people of the spiritarium could not imagine even in their dreams.
Spiritarium was already very big, so big that it housed many universes, so many that no one knew exactly how many. But even Spiritarium seemed small compared to this mysterious world. Its size was beyond comprehension.
In this vast world, on that very day, something strange happened.
Powerful beings, the strongest in this world, suddenly felt something. It was a strange feeling, like something big and important was about to happen. They had no explanation, but they felt it deep in their bones.
On a high mountain, an old man stood still. His eyes were locked on the sky above, and he looked deep in thought. He muttered to himself, "This... this aura. It feels like that of a Primordial."
The old man paused. His face showed signs of confusion. After a little pause, he muttered again, "But... there is something different about this Primordial. Something that doesn’t feel the same as before."
His words were quiet, but they carried a weight. The air around him seemed to buzz with a strange energy, as if the mountain itself could sense the old man’s thoughts.
.....
Far away, on the surface of a vast and endless ocean, a boat floated gently on the water. It was a small boat, but the woman standing on it was anything but small.
She was extremely beautiful, as if an angel had descended on earth. Her long hair swayed in the wind which made her appear ethereal. Her eyes were fixed on the sky, and her thoughts were just as troubled as the old man’s. She too felt the strange aura, and thus spoke softly, "Yes, that must be it. A Primordial entity... has awakened."
But then, her face contorted a bit, as if she was puzzled about something.
"Is it true?"
"Could it be the prophecy?"
Her voice was filled with wonder, but also fear.
"The prophecy says that a child, born from the stars, would fight against those powerful entities living up above in the shadows. This child would be helped by a Primordial being, a giant tree, and would enter a place that no one could reach. Is this the moment? Has that child appeared? Where? And... Why can’t I deduce the location of this newly awakened Primordial Entity?"
The question hung in the air. It was unanswered. It was like the wind that moved across the ocean, going in one direction continuously without end, and dispersing with time after weakening.
There was no one to answer the lady. Her answer could only go on, unanswered by time.
The lady’s eyes searched the sky as if trying to see what was coming, trying to understand if the prophecy was real.
.....
Elsewhere, far in a distant village, a young man, very young at that, maybe around 15 or 16 years old, sat at the edge of a forest.
The night sky above was clear, with countless sparkling stars. The air was still, but the young man could feel something in the atmosphere. He could not explain it, but something was shifting. He looked up as his heart beat faster than usual.
His face twisted and turned, changing into many expressions. In the end, a puzzled expression paused as he wondered, "Could it be... Could this be the beginning of something much bigger than we know—much bigger than I know?"
"No!"
"Yes, I remember. That person I met told me about the prophecy. The prophecy is true. Isn’t this the reason why I left behind my inheritance? I also sensed that it was obtained by someone. The Sun and Moon Blade... Oh my dear weapon, if not for the prophecy and that child, I would have never left you behind."
"However, I have a feeling. We will be meeting very soon. That day is not far."
.....
In a quiet library deep underground, an old scholar was turning the pages of a thick book.
The book was ancient, filled with words that no one had spoken for ages.
The scholar frowned as he read something that caught his attention. He muttered to himself, "The signs... they are coming true. The time of the Primordial Entity... it has arrived."
His hands trembled as he held the book, feeling the weight of his discovery.
His entire body suddenly glowed with a divine golden aura, and with that, the scholar disappeared, leaving behind a sentence, "I must find him. I must!"
.....
In another place, at the edge of a great desert, a group of travelers sat around a campfire. They had been on their journey for years, but that night felt different.
One of the travelers, a woman with sharp eyes, stared into the fire.
Sharp eyes?
No!
She was blind. Her eyes were completely white. But the sharpness in those blind eyes was such that they carried the touch of the world’s sharpest weapon, capable of slicing through the very time and space and touching the unknown.
However, this was just the sharpness. Her actual strength lagged far behind the strongest of Eternity.
She had a feeling she couldn’t shake. She felt that something was changing in the world. She looked up at the stars and whispered, "Something powerful is awakening. I can feel it. The eternity... It is changing, awaiting the arrival of someone, someone the Vast Expanse of Eternity has been waiting for countless Sage Eras."
.....
All around this world, that is just a corner of the Vast Expanse of Eternity but big enough to not be filled even with millions of Spiritariums, no matter where you looked, people were starting to feel a bizarre sensation.
Knowledgeable people could guess what was happening.
Those who could not guess went to seek the advice of knowledgeable people and scholars.
Those with the ability to calculate destiny started deducing, only to spurt out mouthfuls of blood, and withstand backlash that came striking them directly from the sky and earth.
