Chapter 250: Ch 250: Andrea’s Experiences

"I killed that monster," Emrys answered softly.

At the same time, he sensed that the little blue pool was not straightforward, and his brows were furrowed. It was too deep for just a pool. Furthermore, a spot at the bottom of the pool remained dark despite his God’s Perspective. It can be said that even from Emrys’s perspective of the three-dimensional world, this location was a blind spot. It seems they were here because of Andrea.

Andrea coughed and shifted his head in the other direction. Then he answered Emrys’s question, "We heard about an ancient site that suddenly appeared 10 miles away from the Golden Spring City in Golden Sun Kingdom. The Federation notified all Soul Masters above the realm of Freezing Moon about this ancient site. By that time, we were already in the Golden Sun Kingdom so we decided to explore this ancient site, hoping to get our hands on some opportunities to increase our cultivation."

"We were our way to the Golden Sun City when I suddenly heard a call. It was as if someone was calling me. Laura and Caruso wanted to keep going to the Golden Spring City, however, the continuous call made me helpless. I brought them with me and arrived at a place where two giant pillars stood tall. Two huge dragon statues were coiling around these two pillars."

"We were attracted by those two pillars with dragon statues coiling around them and started to observe. To our surprise, the two dragons suddenly come back to life. A layer of thin stone shattered from their bodies and they flew out of the pillars. We were frightened and thought of running away. However, before we could even take a step to escape, those two dragons started circling around us. Their speed was simply unfathomable. Their actions immediately created a huge tornado and we rose up in the sky due to strong wind. In the end, when the tornado dissipated, we fell in this icy plane."

While speaking, a look of terror appeared on Andrea’s face. It was not just Andrea, even Laura and Caruso shuddered with just the thought of those two dragons coming back to life and creating a tornado.

That was terrifying!

If given a choice, they would definitely like to forget that incident.

Although Emrys never experienced what these three people had gone through, he could imagine the state of their hearts.

Andrea breathed deeply and then started speaking again, "Not long after that, we discovered a place full of those blue fruits. They are Heavenly Soul Fruits that have long since disappeared from the surface of Infinite Soul Star. In fact, these fruits should not be here at all. It is said that Heavenly Soul Fruits grow in extreme conditions where a few requirements have to be fulfilled. These requirements are that the place must be the center of the world that connects the essence of life and death, where the boundaries between two or more realms are blurred. The Soul Force must be exceptionally pure and so dense that even the air feels heavy with power. Most importantly, that place must be the focal point of the world’s energy flow. Only in such a place can these rare fruits grow and mature."

He paused for a moment and his eyes felt distant. It was as if he was recalling the events.

"We were stunned when we saw thousands of Heavenly Soul Fruits glowing faintly in the misty air. Such invaluable treasures were in front of us, so we didn’t want to let go of this opportunity. Unfortunately, that strange dark monster was guarding these fruits."

"Talking about that monster, it was truly a bizarre monster. It was definitely a Soul Beast, but it also had a very dark nature and felt devilish."

Emrys nodded his head, knowing that that monster was in the process of transforming into a terrifying abyssal monster who doesn’t have abyssal’s innate weakness of having weak souls.

He didn’t stop Andrea from explaining his situation, nor did he clarify his confusion regarding the dark monster. He kept his silence, wanting to hear more.

Andrea also didn’t stop. Since Emrys had asked, he decided to tell him everything. Truth be told, just like that dark monster, Emrys also gave him a completely different sensation. He appeared dark and terrifying, ethereal and pure, and mysterious all at once.
