Chapter 223: Ch 223: Fury Unleashed

"What do you want?" Isolde asked coldly.

"I just want to take back what belongs to me." Emrys’s voice was ice-cold and filled with determination as he spoke. "If not, you’ll have to pay the price."

Isolde’s eyes turned cold. She pointed at Emrys and said, "This is the Star Soul Mansion. Don’t think you can do whatever you want here?"

Emrys’s mouth curved into a strange but evil smile, "You guys can give it a try!"

"You’re courting death!"

The guards that followed Isolde here were angered when they saw Emrys threatening Isolde. He was unable to endure any longer and shouted at Emrys.

As soon as he shouted, a fierce glint appeared in the guards’ eyes, and a strong burst of killing intent erupted from them. The cold spears in their hands swallowed all the killing intent and spat out a dazzling golden light that directly pierced towards Emrys.

Cassian Rain, Isolde’s brother, looked down from above. His eyes were cold and sharp like a sword, full of chilliness. Cold killing intent erupted from everyone’s body and surged towards Emrys.

"Hmph, ungrateful bastard, you still haven’t left?"

The corner of Emrys’s mouth curled into a disdainful sneer. Two rays of bright light shot out from his eyes before dissipating instantly. He then raised his right hand towards Cassian, and made a provocative gesture, saying, "Come, come at me. If you can touch me, consider it my loss!"

Emrys’s eyes turned colder when he saw this. In the moment when the dagger was about to touch his forehead, he raised his palm and firmly grabbed onto Cassian’s wrist.
