A high, shrill piercing cry echoed through the cavernous space, causing the air itself to vibrate with invisible energy. The sound was so intense that it gave birth to a violent ripple in this space.

The shadow of a giant bird began to form behind Emrys. At first, it was just a dark silhouette, but as the moments passed, the outline became clearer. The shadow took on a more defined shape, revealing a majestic creature with wings that stretched wide, almost as if they could envelop the entire cavern.

At least, the shadow of the bird gave this kind of feeling.

The shadow continued to grow more distinct with each passing second, and soon, a holy-looking blue bird emerged from the darkness. Its feathers were shimmering with a light that seemed to come from within, radiating a soft glow. The bird’s silver eyes, similar to Emrys’s eyes, glowed with a deep light, and its presence filled the space with an aura of both power and serenity.

This was the Void Phoenix, the Soul Spirit Emrys obtained from his first Soul Mark.

The Void Phoenix hovered behind Emrys. Its wings gently flapped as if to stabilize itself in the air. Just the sheer aura of its presence was awe-inspiring enough. Anyone could feel a kind of authority and dominion from its aura.

As the Void Phoenix fully materialized, the space around it started to calm, as if the energy ripples from its cry were being absorbed into its body. The bird looked at Emrys with eyes that held both kindness and immense strength.

Emrys could feel a deep connection to the Void Phoenix. This connection was a bond that went beyond mere recognition. It was not that surprising though. After all, the Void Phoenix is a part of him, an extension of his own soul.

Aside from Emrys’s transformation, the Void Phoenix also underwent a metamorphosis. As the majestic bird hovered in the air, anyone could see each and every one of its feathers lightning up with mysterious symbols.

These symbols glowed faintly, giving the feathers an otherworldly appearance. They looked like ancient symbols or runes, and they flowed across the surface of the feathers, shifting and changing as if these symbols were alive.

The symbols were actually very similar to the ones that had appeared on Emrys’s body earlier which granted him the authority of space, but they were still somewhat different.

The difference cannot be told just from the outer appearance. It was as if something within the essence of these symbols were different. Even so, these symbols and the symbols that integrated with Emrys’s body were definitely connected.

As the symbols continued to shine on the bird’s feathers, the light around the Void Phoenix grew brighter. The air around it shimmered and the patterns on its feathers seemed to resonate with the very fabric of space.

Due to this, as the master of Void Pheonix, Emrys even felt a deep connection with the void around him. This connection far surpassed anything he had ever felt.

Before long, the Void Pheonix calmed down, and the symbols that appeared on its feathers were completely integrated. The Void Phoenix screeched once again before transforming into fragments of light and entering Emrys’s body.

Emrys’s eyes snapped open. A deep silver light flashed and for a moment, the space in front of his eyes distorted before reverting back to their original appearance.

There were several updates to Emrys’s personal information.

First, both his Soul and Cosmic Cultivation levels have increased. Secondly, his Soul Points have transformed into Soul Essence. Lastly, a new Unique Skill has awakened.

This skill was called Soul Plunder.

A lot of information about this skill appeared in Emrys’s mind, causing him to exclaim in surprise.

"This Soul Prism Orb is really heaven-defying. With my third unique ability to plunder soul, not only my Soul Cultivation speed will increase by leaps and bounds, but I can even obtain all the skills and information of my opponent."

Emrys sighed in amazement again.

Other than this, the Void Phoenix had also gone through a transformation. Emrys could not see his Soul Spirit’s information, but he could see his Soul Mark’s information.

The strength of Void Phoenix has increased a lot. Emrys could now easily summon the Void Phoenix to help him fight a battle. In fact, he can even ride Void Pheonix to enter space.

The major change in his Soul Marks was that the quality attribute had disappeared. In fact, this happened during the process when Emrys was absorbing Soul Energy from the pool prepared by Radcliffe in the Arkhaven.

Emrys has a feeling that he can break the seal of his Ice Pegasus Bloodline and Lightning Wraith Bloodline as long as he slightly strengthens his control over the curse attribute.

In other words, as long as he nurtures his second Soul Mark a little bit more, he can break the Curse of Echoing Silence.
