Chapter 189: Ch 189: A Shortcut To Soul Cultivation

Radcliffe, noticing the change in Emrys, smiled softly and began preparing the tea with practiced ease. He carefully added the ingredients to the teapot. Soon, steam rose, carrying a soothing aroma that enhanced the already dominant fragrance in the air.

As the tea brewed, the air around them seemed to grow more serene. The tension in Emrys’s body started to ease, and the tightness in his chest slowly began to loosen. The soothing aroma continued to work its magic, helping him find a sense of peace he hadn’t felt in a long time.

Radcliffe poured the tea into the cup and handed it to Emrys.

"Drink this," he said softly. "It will help you find clarity."

Emrys took the cup, feeling the warmth radiate through his hands. Truth be told, if not for the fact that still had some rationality, he would have started to salivate. He brought it to his lips and sipped the tea. The flavor was rich and comforting, and as it traveled down his throat, he could feel the last remnants of his anxiety melting away.

All of a sudden, Emrys felt a powerful force surging through his body and soul. This energy flowed through his veins, making him feel more alive and stronger than ever before. Every part of him seemed to be filled with this energy, and it felt like his entire being was waking up after a long slumber.

This kind of sensation was strange and very unfamiliar to Emrys, but he could not help but want to continue experiencing it for a bit longer.

He continued to sip the tea from the cup, and the same sensation rose within his body. At the same time, a soothing sensation spread through his soul. It was as if a warm, gentle light was wrapping around his soul, comforting and strengthening it. He could feel his soul growing stronger.

Since his Soul was affected, his Soul River also started to go through a transformation. Emrys’s Soul Force became more vibrant and powerful.

As this happened, Emrys realized that his soul force was increasing rapidly. It was like a river of energy rushing through him, filling him up completely. Without any effort on his part, his soul cultivation broke through automatically, reaching a new level. It was an automatic breakthrough that came all of a sudden and without warning.

Just like that Emrys became an Advanced Brilliant God Soul Master.

This was not the end. There was still some tea left in his cup.

By the time Emrys drank the tea completely, he had already become an Elementary Purple Crystal Soul Master.

Deep within his Soul River, a purple crystal had appeared. The Soul Force around this Purple Crystal had turned purple in color. Most importantly, a blue and a dark bubbles were rotating around this Purple Crystal. These bubbles were actually two worlds with an enviornemnt perfectly suitable for his two Soul Spirits; the Void Phoenix and the Eternal Abyss Cursed Dragon.

Traces of purple Soul Force were pouring inside these two bubbles. As for what was happening inside the world of the bubbles, it was unknown.

"This...?"

Emrys suddenly came out of the trance and was surprised to feel the rise in his strength again. He carefully felt his body and soul and felt the change in his soul cultivation.

Actually, the instant he drank the first sip of the tea, he had already entered a mysterious state and was unable to feel the rise in his strength. Nonetheless, he still had some awareness left to feel that some changes were happening inside him.

Unexpectedly, these changes brought him closer to the peak of Infinite Soul Star. Now that he was already a Purple Crystal Soul Master, he can be considered a peak figure in the entire Great Flame Country.

"What was that tea?"

"The tea doesn’t matter. What holds the true value is Low-grade Mystic Moon Leaves." Radcliffe pointed at some leftover tear leaves and continued explaining, "Your soul is still too weak, so you can only drink the tea made from Low-grade Mystic Moon Leaves. Once your soul becomes stronger, you’ll be qualified to drink Mid and High-grade Mystic Moon Leaves."

Emrys breathed heavily and shifted his attention with much difficulty, asking, "So, what is this legacy left behind by Sage, your Great Master?"

"I don’t know," Radcliffe shook his head, speaking, "I only have the responsibility to bring you to the legacy ground. As for what is that legacy, you’ll know yourself after going there."

Emrys nodded and said, "Then, let me enter the legacy ground now."

"I can’t let you enter the Legacy Ground, at least not now!" Radcliffe refused.

"Why?"

"It’s because your soul is not strong enough. If you enter the Legacy Ground now, your weak soul will be destroyed."

For a moment, Emrys had an epiphany as to why Radcliffe took out the Low-grade Mystic Moon Leaves. It is to strengthen his soul.

Emrys was not a typical Cosmic Cultivator or Qi Cultivator. Unlike them, he also practiced Soul Cultivation. Therefore, even though the Mystic Moon Leaves didn’t directly boost Soul Cultivation, strengthening his soul naturally led to an increase in his Soul Cultivation as well. For a regular Cosmic or Qi Cultivator, only their soul would have been strengthened, but for Emrys, the benefits extended further.

Thinking of this, Emrys could not help but ask, "Do you know about the Soul Cultivation Realms above Purple Crystal Soul Master?"

"I do," Radcliffe nodded and started to explain, "Above Purple Crystal Soul Masters are Freezing Moon Soul Master, Blazing Sun Soul Master, and finally Glowing Star Soul Master."

"Glowing Star Soul Master is further divided into three stages; they are Glowing Red Star, Glowing Blue Star, and Glowing Golden Star."

"You told me that you are from a world called Infinite Soul Star that is located inside a universe. If that is true, then I think Glowing Star Soul Master should be the limit of your world. If you want to cultivate further, you’ll need to leave the Infinite Soul Star."

Emrys finally learned about the three more cultivation realms above Purple Crystal Soul Master.

Although Radcliffe was not sure, Emrys believed his words about the Glowing Star Soul Master being the limit of the Infinite Soul Star. After all, Radcliffe knows about Soul Cultivation, universes, and cosmic fields far better than him.

"What kind of soul cultivation do I need to enter the Legacy Ground?"

According to Radcliffe, his soul was not strong enough as of right now. If his Soul Cultivation increases, it also means his soul has become stronger.

"If you can become a Glowing Red Star Soul Master, it’ll be enough to enter the first layer of Legacy Ground," Radcliffe responded.

"First layer?" Emrys was confused.

"Yes, the first layer," Radcliffe explained. "The Legacy Ground has a total of three layers. You need a different level of strong soul to enter each layer. If your soul is weak, you’ll be dead before you can even see a speck of light inside the Legacy Ground."

"But you don’t have to worry. I have many treasures that can increase the strength of your soul. These treasures were left behind by Great Master just to make sure you enter the Legcay Ground."

Hearing this, Emrys’s almost jumped in excitement.

Excited, Emrys asked, "How long will it take to become a Glowing Star Soul Master?"

But then, his smile faltered. He had promised Mu Bailing to meet her within three months. With just over two months left, he realized that if he chose to strengthen his soul using Sage’s treasures, he wouldn’t be able to keep his word.

For any cultivator, a promise is sacred. When a promise is made, a bond of fate forms between the two people involved. If this bond is broken due to the promise being unfulfilled, it can lead to a backlash. This might slow down future cultivation, give rise to a heart demon, or even completely sever the cultivator’s path forward.

Sighing, Emrys shook his head and said, "Then I’ll have to wait. I have a promise to fulfill. Give me about three months, and you can help me strengthen my soul!"

"No problem!" Radcliffe readily agreed. He then waved his hand and a light door materialized. "Enter this door and you’ll appear outside this secret spatial zone where Arkhaven is located. Come and find me when you are ready."

Emrys nodded and stood up. He walked toward the light door, pausing briefly to take a look at the hall one last time. Then, with a determined step, he entered the light and disappeared within its glow.
