A series of faint sounds sliced through the air as the poisoned darts found their mark, piercing the eyes of the Flame Exploding Gorilla.

Blinded, the Flame Exploding Gorilla lost all sight and descended into a wild frenzy, lashing out in all directions. Yet, the poison on Chen Wen’s darts was potent, quickly sending the beast into a fit of rage before the toxin began ravaging its brain.
Ultimately, Cao Dong and Yu Huang launched a fierce attack and killed the gorilla.

Emrys watched the seamless teamwork of Yu Huang and the others with approval. Such synergy could only be forged through the crucible of prolonged combat.
In this entire battle, two people remained standing, not laying a helping hand. They were Emrys and Bo Shenwan.
Let’s not talk about Emrys for now, he was a new guy in the team and the ’weakest’ of them all. As the strongest person, Bo Shenwan refused to move which attracted Yu Huang, Cau Dong, and Chen Wen’s dissatisfaction.
"Shenwan, why didn’t you fight? Had you made a move, we would have dealt with that gorilla easily." Yu Huang gasped for breath and asked.
"You asked Cao Dong and Chen Wen to act, you didn’t tell me. I thought you three don’t need my help!" Bo Shenwan acted very naturally, as if the three of them truly didn’t need his help.
"You..." Chen Wen pointed at Bo Shenwan. She was so angry that her body was trembling, not knowing what to say.
Yu Huang gestured to Chen Wen to calm down, took a deep breath, and asked, "Just what do you want? If you continue to act like this, we might not be able to obtain the Burning Flame Essence!"
Bo Shenwan hesitated for a moment, aware of how crucial the Burning Flame Essence was for their team. But then he clenched his fist and pointed at Emrys. "I don’t want him in our team. If he were strong, I wouldn’t say anything, but he’s too weak to help us. He’s just a burden we’ll have to carry. I admit I didn’t my fault for not contributing anything in this fight, but look at him—he was too weak to make a move in any battle we’ll face ahead. Kick him out of the team, and we’ll be good!"
Yu Huang and Cao Dong remained silent for a while. This fight had clearly shown that Emrys was indeed too weak to be of much help. Chen Wen wanted to speak up, but she couldn’t deny the truth, so she stayed silent and left the decision to Yu Huang.
Yu Huang was the one to invite Emrys, so he didn’t want to kick him out personally. All he wanted was to make the team more powerful. The more warriors in a team, the more powerful that team will be.
Emrys could, without a doubt, enhance the team’s strength, but only a little bit. In fact, just as Bo Shenwan said, he might end up becoming a burden. His presence was not truly needed. As a matter of fact, his absence might be rather good for the team than his presence.
But looking at the current situation, Ye Huang found his decision to invite Emrys a bad one.
Emrys could see his hesitations. He doesn’t really need to be in a team, he alone is enough. Actually, he’ll be much faster if he travels alone. His decision to join Ye Huang’s team was for one reason, he wanted to obtain information.
Emrys said something that made Ye Huang feel a huge weight lifting off his shoulders.
"I can leave this team, I have no problem. But before I go, can you tell me about those pillars high up on the mountain peaks of every mountain in this mountain range? What are those pillars? Could an inheritance site be there?"
Ye Huang and the others looked at each other. It’ll be good if Emrys leaves the team by himself. As for answering his question, it’s not a big deal. Anyway, no one could obtain that inheritance, if there really is one!
This time, Chen Wen spoke, "Emrys, you should know that we are going to the mountain peak as well."
"To look for the Burning Flame Essence, I know!" Emrys nodded.

Emrys didn’t say anything. He silently nodded and then disappeared all of a sudden, surprising everyone.
Emrys reappeared a thousand meters away from Ye Huang and others, not minding whatever they’d think after he vanished all of a sudden. His goal was simple, and that was to go to the mountain peak. As for the danger up there, could they be any more dangerous than what he encountered back in the cave filled with vitality?

Although this aura was there only for a single moment, it was enough to shake the hearts of every single creature present in this mountain. Their hearts shuddered in fear.
