Chapter 975: Chapter 975 Xiang Yu Arrives First

The owners of establishments like this are all tied to the underworld in some way. They naturally have an aversion to the police. Now, two clueless young guys were claiming to be police and wanted to see their equipment; of course, he wasn’t going to agree.

The two plainclothes officers were left with no choice. They gritted their teeth in frustration and turned to leave.

“Take care, I won’t see you out,” the potbellied middle-aged man sneered.

The two officers stormed past Xiang Yu and his group in a huff, clattering noisily down the stairs.

Seeing this unfold, Xiang Yu quickly approached the middle-aged man with a grin and asked, “Are you the owner here?”

The owner sized Xiang Yu up, noting his well-built physique and the resolute determination etched on his face. Beneath his calm demeanor, there was an unmistakable aura of dominance that commanded respect.

“Who are you guys?” The middle-aged man’s tone was wary as he scrutinized Xiang Yu and his crew. He discreetly signaled to someone nearby, instructing them to go call for reinforcements.

“Can we find somewhere quiet to talk?” Xiang Yu asked with a faint smile, his tone unruffled.

The owner considered it for a moment before nodding. “Alright.”

He led Xiang Yu and his group to a nearby room.

Once inside, Xiang Yu directly stated his purpose: he wanted to inspect the establishment’s surveillance equipment.

The owner immediately grew defensive. First, those cops wanted to see the surveillance; now this group was here for the same thing. Could something suspicious really be on those tapes?

“Can I ask why you want to see them?” the middle-aged man queried.

“Why do you talk so much crap?” Tie Zhuzi, standing behind Xiang Yu, scowled at the middle-aged man, his tone sharp and irritable.

The middle-aged man bristled but forced a smirk, snapping back, “Young man, you’d better watch your mouth. Do you even know what kind of place this is?”

Xiang Yu had initially planned to negotiate peacefully, but the arrogance of this potbellied man had put him in a foul mood. His patience wearing thin, he said coldly, “Just take us there already.”

The owner suddenly burst into mocking laughter. “What a joke! What’s going on today? Do you all think I’m some pushover just because I’ve been keeping quiet?”

As he spoke, the middle-aged man slammed his palm down on the table. At that moment, about ten burly men stormed in from outside.

Each of these men was tall, heavily built, and exuded menace. They were the establishment’s blacklisted security guards—thugs who stayed in the shadows most of the time but always jumped to the forefront when trouble arose.

“So, you’re not planning to take us there?” Xiang Yu asked, frowning.

The two officers who left earlier would undoubtedly return in no time. It was clear that a quick resolution was needed.

The middle-aged man gave Xiang Yu a taunting look, tilting his head with a smirk. “You think you can just—”

Before he could finish, Xiang Yu lunged forward and kicked him squarely in the chest.

At the same moment, Tie Zhuzi and the rest of the group sprang into action. Tie Zhuzi relished the brawl, evidently thrilled to be using his fists again after a long hiatus.

Though these security guards were known for their thuggish ruthlessness, against Tie Zhuzi and his crew, they were completely outmatched—like lambs to the slaughter.

The weakest of them, Wang Ze, still handled the thugs with ease, making quick work of the adversaries.

As for Xiao Xuan, his kicks were precise and overwhelming, flooring opponents one by one. The enforcers couldn’t even get close to him.

In less than five minutes, all ten guards were lying incapacitated on the floor. Tie Zhuzi, still buzzing with adrenaline, tried to haul one up for another round.

The blacklisted guards, seeing how easily the trio had handled them, didn’t dare get back up. They groaned and stayed down, some feigning worse injuries than they had.

Gripping the middle-aged man’s collar, Xiang Yu glared at him and asked, “Now are you ready to take us?”

The potbellied man was stunned. Plenty of troublemakers had come through before and been swiftly dealt with by the guards. But these four were evidently on a whole different level.

“Yes, of course,” the man stammered, nodding quickly.

Despite his demeanor, Xiang Yu wasn’t looking to make things more complicated. He instructed the owner to lead the way, following close behind with his crew.

The middle-aged man led them to his personal office, pointing to a computer. “There, that’s it.”

Xiang Yu found it ridiculous that surveillance equipment had been placed in the man’s own office, a rather unusual setup.

However, when he saw the footage, it all made sense.

The computer displayed multiple feeds, covering every corner of the establishment, from the main areas down to individual rooms.

One feed showed a man and a woman engaging in rather explicit activities, in full detail. They were being intimate from behind.

Another feed showed a three-way encounter. But what was even more unsettling was the sheer number of cameras installed in the bathrooms.

Every angle of the restrooms was meticulously covered—up, down, left, right, front, and back—capturing even the most private, mundane moments.

“Holy shit, this is insane,” Tie Zhuzi muttered. He was mesmerized by the footage, grinning like an idiot. “This puts porn to shame!”

Xiang Yu, however, was thoroughly unimpressed and appalled. This owner… truly a piece of work. Without hesitation, he cut the power to the computer. Tie Zhuzi, caught mid-entertainment, reluctantly coughed and grabbed hold of the middle-aged man.

“You disgusting bastard, doing something this sick,” Tie Zhuzi growled, slapping the man hard on the head.

The potbellied man, still reeling from their display of combat prowess, understood he was at their mercy and didn’t dare resist. Trembling, he stood motionless.

Xiang Yu opened the PC case, removed the hard drive, and turned to leave without another word. He had no interest in dealing with trivialities.

Tie Zhuzi, on the other hand, gave the man one last slap, then planted a kick that sent him sprawling.

As Xiang Yu and his group prepared to leave, the sound of police sirens filled the air. A line of squad cars pulled up outside as a swarm of officers rushed in.

The crowd inside the club, still dancing and flirting, screamed and scattered when they saw the police, barreling toward the exits.

Taking advantage of the commotion, Xiang Yu and his group slipped quietly away.

The officers ignored them and headed upstairs. With the death of their commissioner’s son, the entire department was on edge, with everyone scrambling to score points.

The downed guards saw Xiang Yu and his crew leaving and wanted to get up, but before they could, another wave of officers stormed in, forcing them to cower flat on the floor.

The middle-aged owner, still nursing wounds from Tie Zhuzi’s assault, struggled back onto the couch. Seeing the swarm of officers, he burst into tears, clinging to one and wailing, “Officers, you have to help me! Please, you have to!”

Meanwhile, Xiang Yu hurried away with the hard drive, confident it contained incriminating evidence on Su Yongzhen.

By the time Xiang Yu and the others returned to their hotel, it was already ten at night. Xiang Yu plugged the hard drive into a laptop.

The group spent hours combing through the footage, eventually spotting Su Yongzhen arriving at the nightclub with a group of men. The entrance camera was somewhat blurry, obscuring their faces.

However, once they walked inside, the footage captured everything clearly.

Su Yongzhen’s group booked a private room, where they pulled out knives, some of which were still stained with blood. They stashed the weapons in the room.

Afterward, the whole crew let loose, ordering girls and indulging in utter debauchery…
