“Talking bad about people behind their back isn’t exactly nice.” Xiang Yu calmly walked over, holding something in his hand and eating it.
Ivan saw Xiang Yu approaching and scoffed coldly, “It’s your turn for guard duty now, where are your people?”
“Just me coming over is enough, you can leave.” Xiang Yu said confidently.
“Ridiculous. How can you stand guard alone? What if something happens? Will you take responsibility?” Ivan looked at Xiang Yu coldly.
“My people are all training over there, what do you suggest? Maybe I should let them stay here a bit longer on duty.” Xiang Yu looked at the tired crowd around him.
Ivan was exasperated by Xiang Yu. The fact was that Wang Li and the others were already exhausted; if they continued to stand guard here, the result would probably be unfavorable.
“Our team wants to rest, this place is up to you. If you can’t protect them, don’t blame me for being harsh.” Ivan said coldly.
He finished speaking and then went over to Wang Li, saying, “Take your men and leave, this is Xiang Yu’s responsibility now.”
Wang Li was a bit puzzled; Xiang Yu came alone, how could Ivan comfortably entrust it to him?

Xu Wanguan nodded, not saying much.
“Where’s your meeting taking place?” Xiang Yu asked.
Xu Wanguan gave Xiang Yu the precise location, finding that this person seemed more reliable than that big-nosed guy.
Xiang Yu asked some other questions and then stood up and left.
This was the Orchid Mercenary Corps base, presumably, the opposing side wouldn’t make a move here; hence Xiang Yu didn’t overly prepare, only letting Xiao Xuan hide in a high spot to watch the situation.
In the afternoon, Li Bingbing and a few others didn’t train, they came over to Xiang Yu’s place.
Li Bingbing was very excited, finally able to participate in a mission.
“Be careful later, do not be careless.” Xiang Yu warned everyone.
“Don’t worry, we’ll be cautious.” Li Bingbing replied.
Around two in the afternoon, Ivan brought over his men. All of them were in black suits, wearing earpieces, looking like Zhongnanhai bodyguards.
In contrast, Xiang Yu’s side was dressed in casual wear, giving a feeling of regular army versus country bumpkin.
“You’re finally willing to call them all over.” Ivan remarked coldly at Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu merely hummed in response, saying nothing more.
At this moment, after resting in the morning, Wang Li and his men revived their spirits, coupled with their formal gear and advanced equipment, there was a sense of innate superiority.
“Hope you don’t hold us back when the time comes.” Wang Li arrogantly said, holding his head high.
Xiang Yu simply ignored him, standing still.
Seeing Xiang Yu remain silent, Li Bingbing glared, “Wang Li, why are you acting arrogant? We all belong to the Orchid Mercenary Corps; this task requires us to work together, what’s your problem with being so sarcastic?”
Adjusting his suit, Wang Li scoffed, “I’m just reminding you to recognize your place, you’re merely assisting us.”
Wang Li spoke while pulling out his communication equipment, purposefully blowing on it, “Can everyone hear?”
Clearly, Wang Li was showing off.
These devices were bought with funds requested by Ivan, which Xiang Yu didn’t apply for, thus didn’t have them.
Li Bingbing was fuming, seeing her side indeed didn’t resemble a regular army. She wanted to say something but didn’t know how to express herself.
“Exactly, you’re the main force, we’re just support.” Xiang Yu stated calmly.
Wang Li initially intended to provoke Xiang Yu, but Xiang Yu remained indifferent; it seemed like nothing mattered to him.
“Why are we only support?” Li Bingbing asked, perplexed.
She wanted to perform well.
“Because they can brag.” Xiang Yu said, yawning as he walked away.
Li Bingbing paused for a moment, then finally laughed, her frustrated expression disappearing as she followed Xiang Yu off into the distance.
Tie Zhuzi and Wang Dayong followed behind silently.
“Xiang Yu, where are you going?” Ivan shouted from behind.
“I’m going to support you.” Xiang Yu replied casually, not stopping as he walked away.
Xiang Yu and his group arrived outside Cheng Wulan’s villa to request some weapons.
The previous equipment had already been returned.
Just as they reached the foot of the building, Xiang Yu’s phone rang; it was Cheng Wulan calling.
“Come over to me, I have something to discuss with you.” Cheng Wulan said.
Xiang Yu agreed and hung up, entering directly.
As Xiang Yu walked in, Cheng Wulan was visibly surprised, it was so fast! She had just made the call when Xiang Yu arrived.
Seeing Cheng Wulan’s puzzled look, Xiang Yu quickly said, “We were just about to come find you.”
Only then did Cheng Wulan alleviate her suspicions, she had thought Xiang Yu was monitoring her.
“Did you come looking for me for something?” Cheng Wulan asked.
Xiang Yu nodded, “We need some weapons.”
Xiang Yu directly stated his purpose without fuss.
Cheng Wulan nodded, “That’s exactly what I was about to discuss.” She pointed to a large box in the corner, “Inside are some communication devices, which have been equipped for Ivan and his team, these are for you.”
Tie Zhuzi laughed delightedly upon hearing the communication devices were for them, and rushed to grab them.
“Exactly, this type, used it before.” Tie Zhuzi chuckled.
Cheng Wulan took out a key from herself and tossed it to Xiang Yu, “As for weapons, you can collect them yourself.”
