"Don’t tell me what it’s about just yet." Jocelyn Morgan leaned forward, grabbed another snack from the plate, and stuffed it into her mouth. "First, tell me how you’ll thank me!"Finn Morgan blurted out, "I’ll find you a boyfriend!"

"Pff!"

"Jocelyn, Grandpa’s meddling with matchmaking again." Finn sighed helplessly, "Grandpa Barker has a granddaughter, and the old man wants me to hang out with her for a while. I’m leaving this impossible task to you because I have to work in the study, so I won’t be coming out."

Jocelyn Morgan just wanted to laugh when she heard that.

Finn, however, said seriously, "You gotta stick to that girl. No matter what Grandpa says to her, don’t let her take any interest in me, and of course, don’t neglect her either, so have fun!"

Before Jocelyn could agree, the sound of clacking high heels approached, and Melissa Merce quickly stood beside the coffee table.

Her face, with its delicate makeup, was smiling, "So that’s where you were?" Her tone was so casual, as if nothing had happened.

There was a wicker chair right in front of her, and she sat down uninvited, her gaze falling on the plate of pastries, "Are these osmanthus cakes? The Morgan family’s servants make the best desserts, and the taste is quite nice!"

The siblings remained silent.

Melissa Merce smiled, took a small piece, and put it in her mouth, showering it with praise, "Mm! Still tastes like before! I love it!"

"Ahem!" Jocelyn Morgan’s throat felt uncomfortable, so she picked up her teacup to drink.

Finn Morgan stood up and said, "I’m going to reply to an email. Jocelyn, don’t forget what I told you." He then turned and left.

Glancing at Finn’s departing figure, Melissa Merce felt a bit disappointed.

She thought: Is it because I came that you’re leaving? Am I really that annoying?

But she quickly refocused, looking at the girl leisurely sipping her tea, "Jocelyn, what did he say to you?"

"Of course, it’s something about him." Jocelyn Morgan put down her cup and stood up, "Since he doesn’t plan to tell you, wouldn’t it be awkward if you asked?"

Melissa Merce raised her eyes, saw the shift in her gaze, and stepped away as well.

"Here they come! That’s my son-in-law’s car!" Grandpa Barker, with his excellent eyesight, recognized it immediately.

Finn was startled, quickly turned around, and hurried to the study upstairs!

Jocelyn turned, and her brother had already vanished at the staircase’s corner.

Inside the black SUV driving into the estate, Hailey Hale looked out at the massive yard and the beautiful mansion not far away, exclaiming, "Sure is a wealthy family! You could play football in this yard."

"The Morgan family in Veridia is quite affluent," Dennis Hale replied casually, not giving it much thought. It was his first time there, following the GPS.

Paige was surprised, "Morgan family?!" She leaned forward, getting close to her husband, "Veridia’s Morgan family? Is it Finn Morgan’s family?" She had investigated Finn Morgan’s background before.

"..." Nathan Garcia was stunned, "Finn Morgan may be rich, but not as big and powerful as this place, right? Veridia is huge; there’s more than one Morgan family."

Hailey Hale picked up on something and frowned, displeased, "You’ve investigated Finn behind my back?"
