Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 780: Long Time No See

Chapter 780: Long Time No See

The Lamborghini left Clearwater Bay and headed straight to Aaron Abbott’s temporary residence.Buildings with a national style always have their own charm, even the lights on both sides of the street seemed much softer, and there were hardly any pedestrians here.

"Hotels around here must be expensive, right?" Mia Lane knew of this area but had never been here, "People with average tastes wouldn’t choose this place."

"Yes, ordinary people can’t afford it, tens of thousands a night," Justin Kingston held her hand, "But my friend likes peace and quiet, so he booked the whole hotel."

"Throwing money around like dirt?" Mia couldn’t help but tease, "Wouldn’t it be better to donate the money to children in poverty-stricken areas?"

"He also does charity. He’s a gentleman and scholarly man, not very old, but he gives off a particularly mature vibe. You might appreciate his personality."

"To be a friend of yours, he must be quite excellent." Mia was a bit excited about tonight’s meeting.

She wore a sky blue dress with a beautiful silhouette that perfectly accentuated her figure, adding a touch of charm to her dignified and steady demeanor.

Before long, the Lamborghini stopped in the hotel courtyard.

The driver opened the car door, and Justin Kingston led Mia out, the unique surroundings making one feel as if they were in a movie set.

At the entrance, two men greeted them respectfully, "Hello, CEO Kingston. Hello, Mrs. Kingston. Mr. Ashford is waiting for you upstairs."

"Okay," Justin Kingston wrapped his arm around the woman next to him, "Let’s go up." Then he led her towards the main entrance.

In Mia’s mind, she imagined what this Mr. Ashford would be like.

A young jewelry collector, yet gentlemanly and scholarly, with a maturity beyond his years; he must be a charismatic man.

This image in her mind linked to an old friend of hers.

They climbed the stairs to the third floor, where the style of the Republic of China era was well preserved, even the paintings were genuine works by famous painters of that time.

"Please come in, CEO Kingston."

After walking through a corridor, two men led them to the door.

The composite door opened, and with Justin Kingston holding Mia, they stepped inside.

The man standing in front of the arched window was tall, and his back looked familiar to Mia. When he turned around, his face bore a gentle and refined smile, "CEO Kingston, long time no see."

Mia was delighted and made eye contact with him.

On the coffee table, a fruit platter was already prepared, snacks were ready, and the tea was top-grade Maojian.

"Long time no see." Justin Kingston was relaxed, feeling the joy of meeting an old friend, and they sat down in front of the sofa.

Aaron Abbott and Mia’s gazes met again, their smiles deepening on their faces.

"Let me introduce," Justin Kingston spoke, "This is my wife, Mia Lane. You might have seen her in the news. Today I brought her because I don’t consider you an outsider."

Aaron Abbott personally poured the tea, his deep eyes showing a hint of a smile, "Long time no see, Mia." With that, he handed the tea cup to her.

"Long time no see," Mia smiled.

This left Justin Kingston stunned, glancing at his wife and then at Aaron Abbott, "You two know each other??"

It was rare for Justin Kingston to be this surprised, but today he was truly taken aback.

"Yes," Aaron Abbott picked up the tea cup, "I couldn’t make it to the wedding, so today I’ll use tea instead of wine, let’s have a drink."

Mia also held up her cup with both hands, while Justin Kingston snapped out of it, still picking up his tea cup while in shock.

"Wishing you a happy marriage and everlasting happiness," Aaron Abbott’s voice was soothing, as gentle as the wind.

"Thank you."

The three of them clinked cups and took a sip of tea. Justin Kingston couldn’t wait to ask, "When did you two meet?"
