"Let’s go." Jocelyn whispered to her, "Don’t let irrelevant people affect your mood."
Cecilia also saw Trevor standing not far away, "Wait a moment." She whispered to Jocelyn, then moved her hand away, "Mr. Trevino! Want to join us for dinner?!"
Jocelyn was speechless, was it appropriate to invite him?
Trevor glanced at Jocelyn, then shook his head, locking eyes with her only briefly before looking away and turning to leave.
Watching Trevor’s tall figure depart, Jocelyn felt strange inside too, but there was nothing she could do; she couldn’t let the misunderstandings deepen.
