Trevor sat in front of the spacious Western-style desk, holding a newspaper in his hand, staring grimly at the bold headline and the photos of Ian Shelby and Vera Ford.
If looks could kill, they would have been dead long ago!
His fingers clenched the newspaper tightly, crumpling it into a ball under his fingertips.
He wondered, what was Jocelyn’s mood right now?
She was so in love with Ian Shelby... loving him so passionately, sincerely, with wholehearted devotion, seeing only Ian Shelby.
More than anger, Trevor was now more heartbroken for Jocelyn Morgan.
Genuinely worried about her mood and state.
Picking up the phone and putting it down, again and again, Trevor wanted to call her but didn’t know in what capacity.

Five minutes later, in the Maybach heading to the club, the assistant drove, while Trevor sat in the back seat, his expression deep and lips tightly pursed, his brows furrowed with concern, no one knowing what he was thinking.
At Providence Hospital.
"Go, go, go! Hurry up!" Vera Ford was directly escorted out by security, nearly twisting her ankle when she was pushed.
Feeling small and helpless, she was too embarrassed to make a scene at the hospital entrance, only drawing more onlookers.
But she truly didn’t expect Ian to be so heartless!
Vera looked at the security guards at the door, feeling aggrieved, turning away despite her unwillingness.

Vera’s lips curled slightly, she looked kindly at everyone, then took one of the microphones, and suddenly the scene quieted down.
Everyone was waiting for her to speak, cameras clicking, recording!
The Maybach passed by the hospital, slowing down due to a slight jam ahead, and stopped.
Trevor’s gaze shifted slightly and he saw Vera Ford being surrounded by reporters at the hospital entrance, with a smile on her face.
Yet he looked stern, his lips pressed tightly.
"Dr. Ford, quickly tell us when you and Dr. Shelby plan to get married?"
