Chapter 865 370: Vast Wealth (Part 2)

With Julia's help, Lucilia carefully pulled out the book.

Everyone saw that the cover of the book, brown and black, was adorned with golden wheat spikes.

At the center was the most classic insignia of the Holy Mother Church.

Lucilia carefully flipped through it.

"This is, this is the Stone Mother's Grace." His voice was filled with surprise, with a hint of trembling.

Chadite asked somewhat confusedly: "What's strange about that?"

Alka seemed to understand a bit and explained briefly beside him: "It's the Stone Mother's Grace, not the Holy Mother's Grace."

"You mean this is the Holy Mother Church's scripture from before the Divine War?" Chadite immediately realized, asking in surprise.

Lucilia excitedly said: "This is indeed the Stone Mother's Grace, the scriptures used by the Holy Mother Church before the Divine War. According to legend, the scriptures of that time were written by the Holy Mother herself."

After examining the book, she said somewhat regretfully: "Unfortunately, this is definitely not written by the Holy Mother herself but should be a version copied and carried by the believers or priests of that time."

"Of course, you wouldn't expect it to be the kind written by the Holy Mother herself, would you? You're thinking too much." Alka couldn't help but retort beside him.

If it were written by the Holy Mother herself, this book wouldn't be an ordinary book. At the very least, it would be on the same level as a Holy Artifact.

Though the one they held was a copied version, selling it to someone within the church, countless people would be willing to spend a fortune to buy it.

But such a use would obviously be the most wasteful; clearly, at this stage, they no longer lacked mere wealth.

"Do you like this book?" Alka asked as he took the scripture from Lucilia's hand.

Lucilia shook her head: "I don't believe in the Holy Mother, I just find it very rare."

Hearing this, Alka nodded: "If you don't mind, I'll keep this book for now, it has a great use."

There was no objection from anyone; it was just a book, and for those not believers in the Holy Mother, it had no difference.

"How should we transport these treasures out?" Juanlu asked.

The wealth here would be troublesome to pile up just in one place.

Alka shook his pocket ring: "Didn't I tell you to empty your pocket rings as much as possible earlier? Now it's useful."

The combined capacity of their pocket rings was definitely larger than this Treasure Vault.

Not to mention, the treasures in this vault were piled just on the bottom, not reaching the ceiling. Filling their pocket rings to the brim, they had more than enough.

"All right, move, fill your pocket rings with these damned gold coins." Alka couldn't help but laugh and said.

"Pocket money picking time." Juanlu laughed, crouched down, and scooped up a handful of gold coins that then disappeared within his palms.

Everyone quickly sprang into action.

Narvi also joined the 'pocket money-picking' army.

Using pocket rings to store money, never had such a satisfying experience been felt.

As they kept filling, everyone became engrossed in the feeling.

...

"Why aren't they coming up yet?" Jason leaned against Ulu Liwus's body and asked, frustrated.

The Crystal Dragon, curled up and sleeping on the advancing deck, irritably shook its head.

The long crystal tail behind it swung around and smacked Jason's head repeatedly.

"Okay, okay, I won't talk anymore, rest well." Jason quickly said, holding his head.

The tail just plopped right into Jason's arms.

With nothing to do, Jason looked at the beautiful fuzzy thin dragon tail in his arms.

A custom-made crystal comb appeared in his hand.

He began to smooth the fur on the tail.

After a long while, there was finally some noise from the surface of the water below.

The first to come up, Pororo, saw Jason braiding various styles of braids on the slender dragon tail.

"Finally came up, how come you're empty-handed?" Jason asked curiously as he saw Pororo coming up.

More noises came from the water, and everyone climbed aboard the ship one by one.

"All empty-handed? Are they really stored in the pocket rings? That many?" Jason asked, shocked, at the sight.

Juanlu smiled and nodded, coming over to pat his shoulder: "You can finally pay your debts."

"What are you saying, quickly tell me how much?" Jason asked eagerly.

Juanlu tapped his two rings: "They're full."

"Huh? Full?" Jason couldn't help but widen his eyes.

With the area of the pocket rings filled to the brim, how much wealth would that be?

Simon came over, rubbing his back: "It's my first time experiencing filling myself just by filling money. Might not experience a second time in this lifetime."

Hearing this kind of teasing, Jason became even more intrigued.

"All right, let's set sail, we're heading beyond the Sea of Moisture; the Sound of Dawn is already waiting for us."

Upon hearing Alka's words, Chadite moved to the helm, and the Swallow quickly glided across the water, heading beyond the Sea of Moisture.

With so much wealth, it couldn't stay in their pocket rings forever.

They had cleared their pocket rings specifically for this operation.

But doing so made many of their lifestyles uncomfortable, not to mention that the pocket rings also contained many items needed for battle.
