Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 859 368: Farewell Wine (Part 2)

Chapter 859 368: Farewell Wine (Part 2)

The obstacle preventing the Flower Children from reclaiming their land is not just the undead, but the massive accumulation of undead, bringing negative energy. It's even the chaos caused by the intertwining of death energy and life force.

It can be simply understood as a crude version weakened from the Life and Death Boundary environment.

It always takes time and effort to repair.

"There's still a long time until the Flower Fairy revives. Without the supply of energy, demons won't continuously emerge.

Now is a rare opportunity."

Upon hearing Alka's words, everyone nodded.

Since it's been said, it's natural to take action. Just as Alka mentioned, the current matters are almost temporarily settled.

Even if those cultists want to make a comeback, they need time to prepare.

Having made a decision, Chadite asked, "When do we plan to set out?"

"Now," Alka responded with a smile.

"We'll go slowly since there's quite a distance."

Upon hearing this, everyone nodded and quickly prepared.

Soon, they bid farewell to everyone in the fortress and boarded the Flying Swallow Ship towards the Nafasi Clan Treasure Vault.

Alka looked at the blue dot on the map.

Compared to before, the whole map now had many more white dots, which appeared due to the time of the region's downfall.

So Alka rarely clicked on these white dots to learn about them.

The locations of the white dots are countless fallen villages and settlements.

What these white dots represent is already self-explanatory.

It's the property fallen from the hands of the once Flower Children, who died there.

Though they are now ownerless objects.

Alka, however, did not want to collect them.

...

After several days of sailing.

They bypassed the troops ahead.

In the entire fallen area, you could indeed feel the environment was much dirtier compared to the lush and fresh atmosphere they previously experienced on the island.

It had been heavily polluted by the undead occupying the area for a long time.

Julia could clearly feel that the surrounding environment was becoming somewhat disorderly, already having a faint feeling of the Life and Death Boundary.

You could tell from the originally green sea turning into a faint dark green.

You could also often see wandering undead.

From the clothing on some of the undead and the decaying flesh on them, it could be deduced that these undead are fresh.

They were converted recently.

Their clothing still clearly reflected the style of the Flower Children.

These were civilians in the villages and towns, who didn't have time to escape under the undead assault.

"Speaking of which, how's Piaoqiu Village?" Jason, sitting on the ship, suddenly asked.

After all, this village was the first one they encountered when they arrived at the Sea of Moisture.

Simon raised his head, thought for a moment, and said, "If I remember correctly, the village is located behind the fortress, close to the boundary; it was one of the first to fall."

Upon hearing this, Jason silently nodded.

"Don't be too disheartened, I've looked into it," Alka suddenly said.

He had indeed seen information about Piaoqiu Village before, as it was one of the few places they knew and understood.

"After large-scale attacks, most of the villagers evacuated with the Great Gardener, and those militias joined the main force."

Upon hearing this, Jason nodded.

Although not all the villagers might live well, at least they weren't all dead.

For them, it could be considered good news.

Especially since it was the first place they got to know here.

"We can check it out this time," Alka suggested, looking at the white dot marking Piaoqiu Village's location on the map.

Hearing this, Chadite turned to glance at him.

He said nothing, just nodded.

Knowing that going to Piaoqiu Village wasn't on their way.

They'd have to bypass the treasury and travel another half day to reach it.

However, since the captain had spoken, adding an extra half day's journey was not a concern for the crew.

Soon they spotted, from afar, some spherical rooms floating on the water.

Compared to the dozens of spheres from before, only a few remain now, with many deflated and collapsed, only partially sticking out of the water.

This village had been thoroughly destroyed, with little chance of reconstruction.

"I quite liked the houses floating on the water, such a pity," Lucilia, sitting on Alka's shoulder, sighed.

When they first saw Piaoqiu Village, they were truly amazed by the scenery.

A village floating on the sea, with round vine houses made from plants, was fascinating, and definitely gave them a sense of unique style.

Sailing slowly on the Flying Swallow Ship, they passed through the village's center.

Apart from the surrounding wreckage, they saw many battle traces.

And some fragmented bones.

Now, only some bones remain, still laid atop the ruins.

"Stop." Alka suddenly said.

Chadite, having anticipated this, stopped the ship.

Alka disembarked and set foot on a half-destroyed Piaoqiu structure. Inside, he could see the shriveled vines, mostly withered, pressing some furniture down inside.

There were no battle marks here, nor any blood or remaining bones.
