Chapter 853 366: Ocean Whirlpool (Part 2)

Chapter 853 366: Ocean Whirlpool (Part 2)

The entire Life and Death Boundary restored to its former appearance, but one could feel the aura of the undead outside was much stronger than before.

"Alright, we can leave now." Jilenna slapped her backside and stood up, saying.

"The people waiting for us outside must already be anxious."

"Don't rush." Alka said as he walked to the large tree.

He gently caressed the tree with both hands.

Seeing this situation, the Silent Saintess watched quietly beside him, while Jilenna observed curiously.

Then she moved beside Chadite.

"Are you planning to extract the Treasure inside?"

Chadite nodded his head.

Upon hearing this, Jilenna couldn't help but remind, "I've just observed it, that Treasure seems to have undergone some special construction and is connected here.

Unless you find the person who constructed this place, it will be hard to remove its connection to the surrounding environment."

Upon hearing this, Chadite couldn't help but smile, saying, "We are the Treasure Hunting Team, and can you guess why we know about this place?"

Upon hearing this, Jilenna suddenly realized and nodded, understanding that the treasure has been their target from the beginning.

Only in the end did they utilize it wastefully.

Under the tree, Alka silently recited a life invocation prayer in his heart.

As he prayed, he truly felt something's gaze upon him.

Could it be...?

Could it really have attracted the attention of Life?

Alka's mind was filled with uneasy thoughts.

He quietly bowed his head.

Then he felt the gaze disappear.

The previously raised tension in his heart immediately settled, allowing Alka to breathe a sigh of relief, and the large tree before him disappeared in an instant.

The Treasure in the center was revealed.

Looking at the appearance of the Treasure, Alka found it somewhat strange, because its appearance was truly unusual.

It was a seed roughly the size of a thumb, emerald green, with a sprout already growing from the top.

Leaves grew from the sprout's top, lush and green.

This was the true form of the Treasure.

As the Treasure floated out, the magical power surrounding it dispersed instantly. The Treasure immediately grew restrained, hiding its special attributes.

At this moment, it appeared so ordinary.

It looked just like a germinating seed, making it hard to associate it with a Treasure.

Alka took it in his hand.

With the Treasure's restrain, the surrounding undead aura began invading the entire area at a visible speed.

The surrounding plants began wilting visibly.

"Let's go, don't keep them waiting too long." Chadite patted Alka's shoulder and said.

Upon hearing this, Alka turned his head to nod, and the four of them quickly moved toward the boundary.

They soon felt the changes around them.

The speed of the Evil Spirits had clearly increased and were already using many skills similar to those normal undead would have.

Before, these Evil Spirits were excessively infused by plants, typically relying on melee attacks.

"There they are!" A shout came from afar.

Alka and the others looked over.

It was the members of the border support team along with two other teams.

They quickly ran over.

"Are you alright?" Julia walked over, examining Chadite.

Chadite hugged Julia and said with a smile, "I'm alright."

Pororo also glanced at Alka, satisfied, and patted his shoulder, lowering his head to ask, "Were you hiding in that place?"

Alka nodded and said with a smile, "You've guessed it."

"Haha, of course." Then he somewhat sheepishly asked, "Almost didn't make it in time, right?"

Upon hearing this, Alka frowned and glared at Pororo, "Almost, but in the end, we managed safely."

Upon hearing this, Pororo finally let out a sigh, patting his chest.

"Great, that's good to hear!"

Rui Kai looked up and down at the Silent Saintess, noticing her healthy appearance without any injuries, and was quite surprised.

"How did you manage? How come you didn't get hurt at all?"

Having said that, he suddenly realized something might be wrong and quickly said, "Of course, it's a good thing, I'm just surprised, how did you manage it?"

The Silent Saintess smiled and shook her head.

"Alright, it's a secret."

Saying that, he turned to look in the direction where Alka and the others were.

"Truly interesting."

The team quickly gathered together and began their return journey.

This time, they found the area where flowers had previously bloomed at the boundary, and once again climbed into a giant flower. From underwater and beneath the earth, they followed the vine layers back to the defensive line region.

They abruptly stopped halfway.

"What happened? Why did we suddenly stop?" Alka felt the entire flower stop and asked.

They had just left less than an hour ago, even at the fastest speed, they shouldn't be returning to the defensive line this quickly.

Rui Kai looked at a small accessory in his hand, which was faintly glowing blue.

He sighed, his voice filled with strong regret, "Alas, such a pity, can't witness that interesting grand scene. Should've let Alati come over."

Chana Liss, with her tail turned into legs, leaned against the flower wall, sensing the movements around.

"Did you bring those barbarians over?"

"Ooh hoo hoo, you can't say that, there's a barbarian here as you call it. That's not very polite." Rui Kai said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Chana Liss quickly changed her words apologizing towards the direction where Pororo was, "Sorry, I didn't mean any harm."
