Chapter 387 - 212 Mastering the Ring of Light_2
He quickly used a Spell to help Simon digest the solution and supplement the nutrients his body lacked.
Simon was somewhat bewildered by this sudden action, seemingly wanting to instinctively struggle.
Alka immediately spoke up, "Don’t struggle, we’re saving you. Those nutrient solutions can help you quickly escape your state of hunger and weakness; otherwise, your current condition could easily lead to death from lack of Energy."
Upon hearing this, Simon immediately calmed down.
Finding there was nothing more for him to do, Er felt somewhat relieved. Holding two rolls of bandages, he and Julia began to wrap Simon’s body.
Simon had so many wounds that before long, he was wrapped up like a white mummy.
Only half his face, his neck, and the area from his waist to his thighs were exposed; all other parts were completely covered.
A large bottle of nutrient solution was quickly administered into his body.
With Juanlu’s Spell, Simon’s complexion visibly improved, and his previously emaciated body began to fill out slightly.
Although still very thin and weak, he looked much better than his previous skeletal state.
Previously, he looked as if he had already starved to death. Now, he seemed merely on the verge of it.
Another bottle of nutrient solution was administered. This time, Juanlu didn’t help him digest it completely, lowering his hand.
A little food remaining in his stomach would help him stay healthier and recover more easily.
As the tube was removed, some black nutrient solution remained in his mouth.
Then Simon’s eyes widened, and he began to retch frantically. The violent movement caused the bandages on his body to start seeping blood.
A large cloud of mist spread from under Alka’s feet, enveloping Simon and instantly putting him into a Deep Sleep.
Within seconds, sounds of even breathing mixed with slight retching could be heard.
But this was no longer a major issue.
I almost forgot how awful this stuff tastes.
After checking his current condition, Julia raised her head and nodded to Alka.
"He’s out of immediate danger now. He just needs proper care."
Alka nodded.
"Then let’s go out first. Er, you stay here to keep an eye on him. Notify Lucilia immediately if anything happens."
Er nodded and sat on an adjacent medical bed.
The three of them then walked out of the room and onto the deck.
They went all the way back to the captain’s cabin.
At that moment, the large round table in the captain’s cabin was piled high with the Treasure they had just obtained.
A heap of coins was spread over it: a thick layer of Silver Snakes at the bottom, dotted with Golden Sails on top. There were also some gold bricks that had been smelted and sectioned, along with large Gemstones.
Seeing the three of them enter, Chadite asked, "How is he? No problems now?"
Alka nodded. "No problems. After some rest, he might wake up by noon tomorrow."
He then sat in his seat.
He looked at the Treasure piled on the table, already high enough to block their view.
He also dumped the remaining Treasure from his Pocket Ring onto the table, including the coins from his money pouch.
The two metal boxes had been opened earlier, revealing valuable jewels and diamonds, all of which were now mixed into the pile of money.
"This is all the Treasure from this haul," Alka said. "Let’s see how much we’ve got."
Hearing Alka’s words, Chadite stretched out his hand, gently tapped the table surface, and a silver ripple quickly swept across.
"1,256 Golden Sails, 13,256 Silver Snakes, five gold bars each with a standard weight of 500 grams, 35 assorted jewels and diamonds, and six other valuable ornaments remaining."
Hearing Chadite’s count, Alka nodded. This meant the total value of the coins was roughly 1,800 Golden Sails.
The 2.5 kilograms of gold would naturally be kept on the ship for use as materials.
Gold was a necessary material for an Artifact Forger. Using it as a primary material would be excessive, but many details required it for embellishment.
Gemstones of good quality suitable for use as materials would be selected, and the rest disposed of later.
Gemstones had always been an indispensable part of Energy Conduction. Placed at key points, they could protect Energy lines or act as temporary Energy storage devices.
Combined with the valuable items, this haul was more than enough.
Chadite then began to organize the Treasure.
He separated the gold bricks Alka needed and the usable Gemstones, handing them to Alka.
These would all be counted as communal assets, since most of the items Alka forged were used by the group.
Even the Puppet Knight Order was considered part of their team.
Chadite then inventoried the remaining Treasure that needed to be converted into wealth.
"The remaining coins, along with these items, are valued at roughly 2,500 Golden Sails in total. We’ll only know the precise value once we reach the Endless Sea."
After listening to Chadite’s inventory, Alka said, "Put the items that need to be traded or sold into the Treasure Vault. Distribute the remaining coins among everyone."
Then he moved the Gold Coins in front of him aside and lifted the metal box at his feet.
This was the most important item.
It was a box specifically designed for storing Treasures.
As the box opened, the Ring of Light resting inside was revealed to everyone.
