If Le Tong wasn’t mistaken, during her year with the Ji Family, Baobao had only visited the Ji Family for the second time.However, probably because he looked too much like Ji Rui, every employee they encountered from the entrance to the elevator said the same thing: "Good morning, President! Good morning, Miss Le! Good morning, young master!"

Le Tong could just about accept this, because she assumed the others didn’t know she was Baobao’s mommy. Although she felt that everyone was looking at her today with envy and curiosity, she only thought they were curious about why she was accompanying the President and the young master to work. "Good morning, young master!" Aunt Huang couldn’t seem to take her eyes off Baobao’s face.

"Good morning, Auntie!" Baobao sweetly replied, not ignoring her just because he didn’t know this auntie.

"Tongtong, the young master looks just like the President, doesn’t resemble you at all," Aunt Huang concluded after examining Baobao.

Le Tong was dumbfounded, "Aunt Huang, the young master is the President’s son, of course, he only looks like the President, what does it have to do with me?" She assumed others didn’t know, so she kept distancing herself from the matter.

However, Baobao quickly chimed in, "Auntie, Baobao’s face might look like Daddy, but Baobao’s mind is as smart as Mommy!"

Beside him, Ji Rui couldn’t help but smile, while Le Tong twitched her mouth.

This little brat, wasn’t there an agreement made? He forgot it all in just a few minutes and happily sold her out.

"Aunt Huang, don’t listen to the young master’s nonsense..." Le Tong tried to smooth things over.

Aunt Huang glared at her, "Tongtong, you should have told me earlier about you and the President, then I wouldn’t be thinking about introducing a boyfriend for you."

Le Tong was at a loss for words; she wished she could open a hole in the elevator floor and sneak away. Since returning to work, Aunt Huang had been particularly enthusiastic, often bringing up decent men to introduce to Le Tong.

This little matter, of course, wouldn’t be known to the two men of the Ji Family. Now, after hearing it from someone else, four pairs of eyes simultaneously shot toward Le Tong.

"Le Tong!"

"Mommy!"

Both called out in unison.

Now Le Tong truly felt that she couldn’t clear her name even if she jumped into the Yellow River. Firstly, she didn’t ask Aunt Huang to introduce a boyfriend, and secondly, she only had an employer-employee relationship with Ji Rui. What else could there possibly be?!!

"Aunt Huang, you... fine! Forget it!"

Faced with Aunt Huang’s innocent and puzzled eyes, Le Tong wanted to blame her but couldn’t bring herself to speak, so she decided not to say anything, in case she made things worse!

Just then, the elevator door dinged and opened at the accounting department’s fifteenth floor. Aunt Huang smiled and bid farewell to Ji He and Baobao, then quickly slipped out, completely unaware she had left Le Tong with a huge bomb.

Once the elevator doors closed again, Ji Rui reached out and pressed the button for the top floor, then calmly turned to look at Le Tong, asking casually, "You asked Aunt Huang to introduce men to you?"

"No way! Aunt Huang was the one whose initiative was to introduce me; what are you talking about?!"

Le Tong glared at him, fervently denying it.

After denying it, she finally realized.

Hey?! Wait, whether or not to introduce men was her own business, what did it have to do with President Ji?

Why did this man put on a face like a rightful boyfriend questioning his girlfriend?

The most infuriating part was, why did she deny so quickly, as if she had to explain away from her single young woman’s affairs?

Ji Rui gave her a deep look but didn’t make a sound. He only lightly tugged at Baobao’s hand.

Baobao got the hint, let go of Ji Rui’s hand, wrapped one arm around Le Tong’s waist, and looked up with a pout, "Mommy, do you really want to go out with someone else?"

Le Tong was still annoyed at herself for being so spineless, confessing to everything when Ji Rui asked. Hearing her beloved son’s question, she playfully replied, "Yes, Mommy needs to gain some exposure. It’s not a bad thing to check out the options."

Ji Rui’s eyes darkened, and he questioned her with disbelief, "Exposure?"

His tone was no longer indifferent but heavy with jealousy.

Detecting the change in his tone, Le Tong felt a bit satisfied inside.

She raised her brow and shot him a sidelong glance, "Of course! The more you see, the smarter you become."

Baobao also noticed the tension in their words, looking left and right, and pondered over whom to side with.

Ji Rui sneered, "Huh! Intelligence? You have plenty of intelligence already, if it grows any more it will turn into calluses!"

Le Tong, feeling irritated by his remarks, retorted, "What’s wrong with me being smart? My intelligence won’t extend to you, President Ji, relax!"

Seeing the situation wasn’t right, Baobao quickly tugged at Ji Rui, signaling for him to stop talking nonsense.

It was clear that when their parents reached such a level of confrontation, Baobao was actually more afraid of Le Tong.

Ji Rui disregarded Baobao’s explicit hints and took out his phone, quickly posting a message in the company’s WeChat circle.

"Effective immediately, it is strictly forbidden for anyone to introduce male friends to the secretary of the President through any means or methods! Offenders will face a pay cut or demotion at best, and dismissal at worst!"

It’s known that since the Ji Family’s WeChat circle was established, President Ji never appeared in it. He knew that this was a space for employees to communicate amongst themselves, and his presence would make everyone feel pressured, so he never spoke or posted here.

Now, once he posted that message, the circle became an uproar!

Though the message didn’t specifically name anyone, there was only one President, and his secretary could only be Le Tong, who else?

This message not only instantly confirmed the rumors circulating yesterday.

It was equivalent to President Ji publicly acknowledging Le Tong’s status and solemnly announcing to everyone in the company:
