Chapter 592 59: Electromagnetic Storm

Chapter 592 59: Electromagnetic Storm

Insect Mother?

Su Ziyu, presently within the Mind Synchronization Center, was momentarily startled. He hadn't anticipated that the Insect Mother could actually discern his presence, given that he had merely descended a sliver of spiritual consciousness onto this battlefield.

Compared to the defensive line near the Empire Capital, the battle that the insect swarm currently finds itself in is far more brutal.

From a heavenly perspective, Su Ziyu could immediately behold the sprawling, tens-of-kilometers long withering insect nests. Their external flesh cavities had entirely dried up, and the ground was piled high with countless corpses. Huge mountains of corpses lay near several key cavity organs, some belonging to the insect race, others to the beastmen. Yet, all these corpse mountains have now become nourishment for Orc's spore genes. Upon close inspection, one can see the vast subterranean insect swarm, surrounding the withered cavities, having already formed clusters of spore mushrooms.

New Orcs are hatching there.

The nutrients from the withering insect nest remain incredibly immense, essentially useless to the human race, capable of only being incinerated and destroyed, a transformation into nourishment for Orc spores.

"The time of the insect nest's withering should be quite short."

"Did they supply the nutrients to the Leviathan?" Su Ziyu's gaze refocused on the colossal Leviathan Giant Beast.

This is the insect swarm's super giant living biological battleship.

Theoretically speaking, this mammoth structure, extending tens of kilometers, has yet to reach its limit. Given enough time to develop, a living biological battleship could even evolve into a massive living biological fortress, akin to a small-sized planet.

Of course, such a massive living creature must possess a sufficiently strong nucleus as well.

Su Ziyu only hesitated momentarily before transmitting a sliver of his consciousness inside the Leviathan Giant Beast, gently speaking: "Break through towards the north!"

"Head straight to the ocean!"

The destruction of the insect swarm nest is merely a question of time, with the nest already withered, unable to swiftly hatch more exotic insects. The swarms on the ground, along with the flying dragons in the sky, are utterly incapable of halting the Orcs.

For reasons unknown.

Despite the Empire being somewhat stronger overall, the Orcs seem to treat them as their biggest threat!

Could it be due to the insect swarm's potential and expansiveness?

Indeed.

Given ample resources, the insect swarm can fervently swarm within extreme timeframes, potentially surpassing even the Orc's scale with little difficulty, merely involving a minor increase in time consumption.

With Su Ziyu's message received by the Leviathan, the ground insect swarm quickly underwent some changes.

Su Ziyu saw some exotic insects he had never encountered before.

These weren't in beastly form, but rather types able to stand bipedally with four limbs, extending bone blades from their bodies. These insect race units have very distinct head characteristics, resembling alien outlines, with their bald heads encased in a thick shell, eyes partially degraded, yet their mouthparts incredibly sharp. Their legs somewhat resemble bipedal walking dinosaurs, while their hands structurally similar to human's, covered by a gray-white keratin layer on the surface.

—— "Hive Warrior [Tyrannid Race][Spiritual Energy Warrior][Variant]!"

These unique exotic insect units all emitted notable spiritual fluctuations, functioning almost like an amplifier of Spiritual Energy, extending their own will upon the surrounding insect swarm.

Some hive warriors wield bone blades extending from both hands, while others concoct bizarre firearms from flesh cavities, a type of biochemical living weapon Su Ziyu was unable to decode currently, capable of launching spore bullets, even shooting high-intensity energy beams directly.

"Evolution?"

A significant portion of the insect swarm units on the battlefield had already undergone swarm evolution, their most conspicuous trait being their heads, akin to alien menacing heads, exuding stronger spiritual fluctuations. Those bone blades possess astonishing strength, and when enveloped in a Spiritual Ability Field, they're capable even of slicing through heavy mecha, their power rivaling the Empire's Electromagnetic Storm Sword.

A part of the evolved Tyrannid units led a multitude of swarms in a near-suicidal charge at the Beastmen's forces.

Numerous evolved Swift Beasts rushed into the Beastmen's ranks, bearing quite a resemblance to their past forms, except their bodily weapons underwent massive changes, with some evolving into gun insects, developing living biological firearms — Meat-Eroding Guns, able to unleash biological bombs and laser-like energy beams. Others had similar evolution traits to Hive Warriors, their blade appendages exhibiting metal characteristics, astonishingly engaging Beastmen's mecha troops directly through sheer numbers advantage.

A dense barrage of energy beams surfaced.

The spiking insects, originally the insect swarm's long-range combat units, had evolved into new Snakemen forms. The smaller Snakemen focused on melee, their bodies extending six razor-sharp appendages, capable of tearing heavy armor. Whereas larger Snakemen employed bio-electromagnetic pulse weapons, with cavity organs extending black-red muzzles firing plasma balls, the tail extending backward a haunting azure electromagnetic beam covering the barbs, wielding like a lightning whip, incredibly powerful.

Unfortunately.

Whether due to inadequate resources or other reasons, the insect swarm's sky combat units hadn't undertaken higher tier evolution.

The airborne insect swarm units primarily consisting of Flying Dragons, King Insects, Giant Crabs, and Suicide Swarms utterly failed to withstand the Beastmen's warships and aircraft, if not for some Brain Insects parasitizing upon King Insects providing spiritual support, their air units would've faced even swifter annihilation.

The insect swarm's suicidal assault successfully procured a fleeting chance for the Leviathan Giant Beast, accelerating instantly to shake off the Beastmen warships attempting an interception, fleeing directly northwards.

The Beastmen would, of course, never allow the true main force of the insect race to escape.

The Leviathan Giant Beast isn't merely a super giant biological battleship; it's also a hatching base for the insect swarm. Grant it some time, and Leviathan alone can nurture myriad exotic insects.

Aerated energy beams followed close behind.

Without hesitation, the main fleet of the Orcs pursued resolutely, whereas a portion of the Goblin aircraft attempted long-range interception, hindered by the dense swarm of Flying Dragons.

"Withdraw to the northwest!"

Su Ziyu closed his eyes sensing, under his command lies the entire planetary climate environment precisely, his mind immediately conceptualized ideas, transmitting: "Twelve thousand kilometers northwest towards the sea, I'll mark a Spiritual Power Beacon for you."

"Once reaching the target area, Leviathan dive underwater immediately!"

Simultaneously.

The moment his voice fell, somewhere southwest on this planet, a massive typhoon eye was undergoing unknown changes, rapidly expanding into a fearsome storm eye, the atmosphere exhibiting an eerie vibrance resembling resonance, spreading swiftly, followed by the roaring thunderclap resounding.

Bolts of lightning streaked across the oppressive clouds.

This was Su Ziyu's first utilization of the planetary climate environment to create a [Lightning Domain], using a giant typhoon eye with a several hundred kilometers diameter as a coordinate, augmented by the vast Spiritual Energy enhanced through Mind Synchronization Center, renovating it into the thunderstorm environment he required.
