Chapter 1210: On the Other Side of the Mountain, There’s a Group

You Ye’s work efficiency wasn’t just due to her unimaginable knowledge base, but also her execution.

From memory, as soon as Luo Qiu expressed an intention, this capable Miss Maid would handle things in the fastest possible way.

On the first day Luo Qiu became Boss, his first concern was survival—but he later realized that survival time hadn’t really troubled him at all.

The previous Boss seemed to leave nothing behind for Luo Qiu, but in hindsight, You Ye was actually the most valuable legacy left behind.

Watching Miss Maid leave, Luo Qiu smiled faintly and waved his hand to open the light projection again.

But his phone buzzed.

It was a message from Song Ying:

—Do you have time to come out?

Luo Qiu thought for a moment and replied: Here.

---On the snowy peak.

An endless sea of clouds stretched out, with biting winds howling.

The weather could instantly freeze a person solid—but ignoring the harshness, the place resembled a pure land, a pristine white world.

In the local language, “Zhu Mu” meant “Goddess.”

At over 8,000 meters above sea level, this place should be nearly uninhabited, yet a figure sat cross-legged on the peak… Long Xiruo wiped her forehead and exhaled warm breath, instantly turning the freezing air around her into icy shards.

“Mission accomplished!”

Long Xiruo twisted her neck. From the southern coastline to the northern grasslands, from the eastern shores to the world’s highest peak, the True Dragon of Divine Land had barely paused, and finally, she managed to temporarily lock the outburst of spiritual energy within Divine Land.

“With this, the spiritual energy within Divine Land will only grow denser by the day…”

Although her intention was only to prevent outsiders from freely taking her spiritual energy, Long Xiruo was uncertain if this was truly the best approach.

In this constrained environment, the spiritual energy’s concentration would increase daily, meaning the Management Bureau’s newly discovered gifted individuals would multiply… and even ordinary people might begin to change.

The collision of the extraordinary with the mundane might arrive sooner than expected.

The True Dragon of Divine Land sighed, exhausted.

Alone on the snow-covered peak, she had no one to share her burden with.

Looking at the shifting clouds outside the peak, they seemed to form and dissolve into all things, eventually shaping into a hateful face.

Long Xiruo stiffened, then clenched her teeth, eyes blazing as if fire, and punched the air, shattering the endless cloud sea.

“You’ve come this far and still won’t let me be!”

Yet she knew in her heart that the vision in the clouds was merely a product of her subconscious.

After punching, she collapsed onto the snow, staring blankly at the blue sky.

“That conniving merchant is probably opening shop again…” Long Xiruo muttered. “Who knows what poor lambs he’s preying on… Damn it, while I’ve been away, has that merchant targeted Pianxian?”

How could she have been so careless?

The thought amplified instantly in Long Xiruo’s mind—she had to return immediately!

At that moment, on the other side of the mountain, several figures rapidly climbed up and soon reached the border.

Seeing them stop before her, Long Xiruo frowned. They wore red robes, held Tantric instruments, and chanted continuously.

This world’s highest peak connected Divine Land with a religiously governed country—and these red-robed figures were clearly monks from that nation.

The monks hadn’t expected to see a beautiful woman on the snow-covered peak—but as practitioners of Mahayana Tantra, beauty meant nothing to them.

“Hello,” the lead monk spoke in imperfect modern divine land speech. “Do you know why the spiritual energy suddenly stopped?”

Long Xiruo tilted her head, calm. “I don’t know.”

The monks exchanged glances. The lead monk continued, “Recently, endless spiritual energy has flowed from Goddess Mountain. If you know why it suddenly stopped, could you tell us? We would be very grateful.”

“I said I don’t know,” Long Xiruo frowned. “Why don’t you return to your own monastery and stop wandering? Judging by your looks, you’re ascetics from the other side of the mountain, right? Cultivation isn’t easy—treasure it.”

Another monk sighed: “To be honest, we’ve made no progress in decades. The sudden emergence of spiritual energy has loosened our trapped state… this is vital for us. Please, honored lady, tell us.”

Long Xiruo sneered. “What, just because spiritual energy comes from Divine Land’s soil, you think you can take it?”

“Honored lady, all things in the world are equal. Spiritual energy is a natural blessing—how can it be ‘taken’?” The lead monk shook his head.

Long Xiruo scoffed, “If I dug a well on my land, would I have to share it with you?”

The monks frowned. The lead monk said, “Honored lady, we are only asking, not disputing… if you won’t tell us, we will investigate ourselves.”

Another monk said, “It seems a layer of seal traps the spiritual energy on Goddess Peak… hmm.”

He turned his instrument, and a beam of golden light shot toward the peak.

Long Xiruo had locked the spiritual energy within Divine Land and hadn’t applied strong seals everywhere—each location was weak.

Seeing the monk attempting to break the seal, Long Xiruo, in a foul mood, didn’t hold back, slapping the golden beam apart.

Yet the monks remained calm, smiling. “It seems the sudden disappearance of spiritual energy is indeed related to you, honored lady.”

“The spiritual energy is mine to control,” Long Xiruo said calmly. “I give it to whoever I please. If I find you trying to freeload again, don’t blame me for being rude.”

“What a arrogant woman!”

Among the monks, a tall, bearded man snorted. A latecomer to monastic life, his innate talent advanced his cultivation rapidly, though traces of his formerly violent temperament remained. Combined with his destructive tantric path, he exuded a subtle ferocity despite Mahayana blessings.

“This spiritual energy’s awakening is the natural way. Its presence changes the concentration of energy in the world, and for trapped cultivators like us, it’s like a blessing!”

“Too Noisy!” Long Xiruo’s forehead darkened; she waved and slapped his cheek across space.

The fat, big-eared monk collapsed instantly, spitting blood.

At the same time, a fierce energy from his cultivation technique was triggered. He immediately sat cross-legged on the ground, hands clasped, chanting continuously.

Behind him, a phantom slowly appeared!

The phantom manifested in various forms: Linga form, terrifying form, gentle form, superhuman form, three-faced form… spinning continuously. In an instant, endless Buddhist chants echoed across the snowy peak.

“Too noisy!!”

Long Xiruo flew into a rage. “Don’t even talk about you half-baked tantric ascetics—if your Shiva himself dared to come, I’d still beat him into a pig’s head!! Get… out—!!”

A dragon’s roar resounded.

On the snowy peak, the massive clouds swirled violently, like the center of a hurricane… at the center, a terrifying dragon head formed from the mist!

The dragon’s head loomed over her, larger than the entire peak. The Buddhist chants vanished instantly, and all the phantoms behind the fat, big-eared monk were shattered.

He spat blood violently and fainted onto the snow.

“You are… the True Dragon of Divine Land!!” The lead monk’s face changed drastically as he stared at the massive dragon head above the peak, his heart pounding wildly.

“Get out—!”

Sweating profusely, the lead monk said, “Honored lady… True Dragon of Divine Land, we apologize for disturbing you. We meant no offense… please forgive us!”

He hurriedly helped the unconscious monk to his feet, apparently intending to retreat.

Long Xiruo snorted coldly. “If I find you sneaking into my territory again to steal spiritual energy, I will storm your kingdom and tear down all your statues, big or small!”

The monks dared not speak. Lowering their heads, they left bitterly in the snow.

The True Dragon of Divine Land is invincible… and this legend isn’t limited to just Divine Land.

“Hmph.”

Seeing the monks leave dejectedly, Long Xiruo snorted and slowly flew off the peak… she wouldn’t actually enter someone else’s territory and destroy all the statues unless it was extreme.

In the True Dragon’s memory, the three figures behind these monks’ religion were petty even in the divine myth system. If she really tore down the statues, they might descend themselves—and trouble would surely follow.

But she was unafraid. If anyone dared descend, she would strike back… it wasn’t like she hadn’t done it before.

“That conniving merchant—don’t let me hear you target Pianxian while I’m away! She’s just a child!! If you have guts, come at me!!”

Muttering, she finally disappeared into the vast snowy mountains.

---

The monks soon returned to their secluded training ground.

In this polluted world, spiritual energy was scarce, and only remote places like this preserved a trace of pure spiritual energy.

From their training site, they could just see Goddess Mountain… so close, yet separated like two different worlds.

“How is Su’erya?” the lead monk sighed in despair… after the spiritual energy was blocked, this place was once again deficient.

In fact, this training site already had decent spiritual energy—it had taken them great effort to find it. But after experiencing the endless flow from Goddess Mountain, even this “good” location now seemed insufficient.

“Heavily injured…” another monk shook his head. “Recovery will be slow; even if he heals, a century of cultivation could be ruined… I didn’t expect the True Dragon of Divine Land to be so terrifying. Just one display of power crushed centuries of our Mahayana tantric cultivation.”

They felt hopeless.

“Fools!”

Suddenly, a deep voice echoed in the cave. The monks were shocked, their hearts pounding as they involuntarily knelt.

Su’erya, lying on the stone bed, began to levitate… and sat cross-legged in midair.

Phantoms and various manifestations appeared around him.

“Lord God!” the monks immediately realized and prostrated themselves. “Please save Su’erya!”

Su’erya slowly opened his eyes, which shimmered with colorful light. “I know what happened… Su’erya is my follower, and I will naturally heal him.”

“Thank you, Lord God!” The monks rejoiced.

Su’erya snorted coldly. “I have noted… this rebellious dragon only dares to act arrogantly because of Divine Land’s soil.”

“Lord God, even if you personally descend…” The monks remembered what the True Dragon of Divine Land had said, their faces pale with fear.

“Hmph. If I personally descend, the world’s will would resist me, preventing me from releasing my full power,” Su’erya said calmly. “But to deal with this dragon, there’s no need for me to descend. It is unsupported and not to be feared.”

“Lord God?”

Su’erya slowly closed his hands, and when he reopened them, a black bead floated before the lead monk.

“What is this?”

Su’erya said calmly, “No need to rush against the dragon. This is a fragment of my divine will. Plant it in a spiritual child, then guide the child and spread my teachings.”

The monks’ expressions changed, and they looked up attentively.

Su’erya continued, “You only need to follow my instructions. Do not question too much.”

“Yes…”

The voice faded. The cave’s phantoms vanished, and Su’erya collapsed back onto the stone bed.

---

In the divine realm of the void,

The terrifying form opened its eyes, murmuring: “Yahweh and Fentian went to explore the unknown primordial and haven’t returned… it’s a good chance for me to develop followers. Yahweh has suppressed my followers in many worlds; it’s time to change that.”

“This sub-world must have a great secret… among countless sub-worlds, only here exists the True Dragon of Divine Land, so it must be different…”

Meanwhile, in a majestic palace, hundreds of beautiful young girls knelt slowly, surrounded by Buddhist chants.

Its terrifying form shifted into the Linga form…

(TL note: I have a feeling that the monks here are Indians only we have few clues to confirm. )

There are several mountains considered "goddess" mountains located on or near the borders of India and China.

- Chomo Yummo: This 6,829-metre (22,405 ft) mountain is in the Himalayas on the border between Sikkim in India and Tibet in China. The term "Chomo" means "goddess" or "lady" in Tibetan.

- Gipmochi: Also known as "The Great Queen," this mountain sits on the border between Sikkim (India) and Bhutan, with China claiming it as the China-India-Bhutan tri-junction point.

- Mt. Namonanyi (Gurla Mandhata): Located in the Ngari region of Tibet, China, near the border between China, India, and Nepal, it is known locally as the "mother of god" or "goddess mountain".

- Cho Oyu: The name means "Turquoise Goddess" in Tibetan. This mountain stands on the China–Nepal border, between the Tibet Autonomous Region and Koshi Province.
