Chapter 875: Worry-Free, Three Lives (3)

Chapter 875: Worry-Free, Three Lives (3)

The corpulent man, raised high in the air, was rapidly becoming withered, like a monster.

In that instant, the scene fell silent... and then, suddenly, someone screamed, turning the place into a chaotic zone.

People began shoving each other, frantically rushing toward the exit... no longer caring about anything else!

After draining the corpulent man dry, Takizawa leapt up, landing on a table covered with white cloth.

He crouched on all fours like an animal, while his long tongue—extending from his enormous mouth, resembling a straw—swung casually in front of him!

Suddenly, the tongue shot out, easily wrapping around a woman who had fallen to the ground and twisted her knee amidst the pushing crowd. Ignoring the terrified people fleeing, Takizawa focused solely on enjoying his meal.

Because he didn’t need to worry.

The fleeing guests realized that the exit—the one leading outside—had been completely blocked! A heavy iron gate had fallen in front of it.

When the first guest, trying to escape, slammed his body against the iron gate, panic erupted.

The way forward was blocked, and behind them, the blood-sucking monster was slaughtering them one by one.Someone’s head was twisted off and raised high, with blood gushing out from the severed neck like a waterfall. Takizawa tilted his head back, drinking the warm liquid!

He resembled a blood-sucking leech with the jumping ability of a grasshopper, constantly leaping around the venue, capturing his prey… no, rather, reaching out for his food.

Simple, brutal, and bloody… some had already fainted from fear, but the terror did not stop.

This was the scene Zhong Luoyue saw when she temporarily escaped from Lady Eve and opened the door.

...

When Lady Eve regained her mobility and burst out of the small room, perhaps less than a minute had passed.

Zhong Luoyue only had enough time to hide behind a large vase in the venue.

With nowhere to escape, many people crowded at the blocked exit, desperately shouting and pounding, but to no avail.

At that moment, Lady Eve, furious, stormed out like a black wind, immediately grabbing a woman whose makeup had run from crying in terror.

Lady Eve bit through the woman’s neck, her fierce gaze sweeping the scene, already planning her next target.

After draining the woman’s blood, Lady Eve pushed her aside… the woman was barely alive.

Lady Eve’s body regained some of its fullness. Her gaze landed on the vase where Zhong Luoyue was hiding, but she didn’t approach… However, Zhong Luoyue could hear Lady Eve’s voice.

It was as if she were whispering softly in her ear.

“I won’t move against you right away. I will make you crawl toward me step by step in fear and despair, and then beg me to spare you, to make you my blood servant... Because, if you become my blood servant, you won’t die here, you can leave, you can breathe the air of fresh blood, and you will see the sunlight outside again. You will... you will…”

Zhong Luoyue immediately covered her ears and lowered her head. She had never felt so powerless in her life.

What good was being the daughter of a prominent family, or a business mogul, when faced with such inhuman power? Everything she once relied on was utterly useless!

Suddenly, a crash was heard, followed by Lady Eve’s angry voice.

Zhong Luoyue peeked out and saw Lady Eve crashing into a table and falling to the ground. In the center of the hall stood a burly man with solid muscles.

He was in a horse stance, his right palm extended in a striking position.

Had he just sent Lady Eve flying with a single blow?

Takizawa noticed this, and in his frenzied state, without thinking, he lunged at the man who had knocked down Lady Eve.

Takizawa leapt high into the air, but as he was about to pounce on the man, his tongue shot out, pressing against the floor to leverage himself, allowing him to twist mid-air and change direction.

It seemed like Takizawa was dodging something... a flying knife!

No, it was a table knife!

In the direction Takizawa dodged, three table knives were embedded in the large rotating plate.

Was there another one? Zhong Luoyue squinted, using all her strength to see, and spotted another slender man standing up amidst the cowering crowd.

She didn’t know who these two men were... but it seemed like they had the ability to handle both Lady Eve and Takizawa.

“Song San, have you seen the young lady?” the burly man in the horse stance shouted loudly to the thin man.

Song San shook his head. “I haven’t seen her. Maybe she didn’t come down. Song Da, you and Song Er leave first, quickly find the young lady! I’ll hold off these two monsters!”

Song San... Song Da?

Surname Song?

Zhong Luoyue frowned at this moment, and a thought crossed her mind. These two people who just appeared out of nowhere might be hiding someone named Song Er in secret. Could they be from the Song family? Were they secretly sent to protect Song Ying?

In an instant, Zhong Luoyue was almost certain of her guess. Although the Song family was powerful, they were not as populous as the Zhong family.

The Song family only had two descendants after all. There was no way the Song family’s old patriarch would let Song Ying, his only granddaughter, wander around outside without any protection.

This is great!

Zhong Luoyue secretly rejoiced. The Song family's experts seemed to be quite capable.

"Human warriors! How did you sneak in here?" Takizawa was clearly enraged. Without waiting for an answer, he lunged at Song Da again.

However, Song San quickly moved his hands, sending out flashes of cold light. He had picked up some of the scattered table knives from the ground.

At that moment, Lady Eve had also risen from the ground, though there was now a very noticeable dent in her abdomen, caused by Song Da’s powerful strike.

"I like strong men, especially like you!" Lady Eve screamed and lunged at Song Da.

Suddenly, a shadow shot down from above, rapidly kicking towards Lady Eve—a blur of leg movements too fast to follow. It seemed to be a leg-fighting expert, probably Song Er.

"Ah Da, open the door!" Song Er shouted while suppressing Lady Eve with his leg skills.

Upon hearing this, Song Da also shouted in anger, "Get out of the way!!"

The guests blocking the iron gate quickly dispersed as they saw Song Da stomping his way over. His steps were so heavy that each one sounded like a hammer striking the floor, creating a booming noise.

When Song Da reached the gate, he placed his palms in front of his chest, took a deep breath, and his muscles instantly swelled, ripping through his sleeves, turning his arms into 'giant arms' twice as thick as an average person’s. In one swift motion, he struck out!

Boom—!!!

His palm slammed into the iron gate, forcibly breaking it open!

Song Da was the first to rush out. His voice echoed through the passage, "Er and San, don’t get caught up in the fight! Find the young lady and retreat immediately. I'll signal you!"

With the gate smashed open by the god-like Song Da, the guests were no longer willing to stay in such a dangerous place. They fled in a chaotic stampede toward the exit.

Among them, naturally, was the Zhong family’s third daughter, Zhong Luoyue, who saw this as an opportunity.

However, a thought suddenly crossed her mind: the Song family has hidden martial experts like this, but does the Zhong family have any?

Grandfather, are you still keeping many things tightly hidden... including the origin of that black card?

In the crowd, people kept pushing her from behind, forcing her to move forward. Zhong Luoyue couldn’t think about it any further.

"Damn it, they let all the food escape." Takizawa's voice had become entirely sinister and terrifying.

After forcing Lady Eve to retreat with a powerful kick, Song Er quickly jumped back and landed beside Song San.

Song Er, with a serious expression, said, "Song San, these two monsters are tough… that old witch took so many of my Vajra kicks, and she’s still fine."

"Ah Da's Vajra Palm hit her too, and she still stood up. That technique can punch through five inches of iron..." Song San’s expression wasn’t looking any better. "This has turned out well, huh? What was supposed to be a simple bodyguard mission, with good food and drink, is now a job that could cost us our lives."

Song Er said, "No more talking. If the old man hadn’t taken us three brothers in back then, our skills would have been returned to the Shaolin Temple by now... Even if we die, we’ll come back as heroes after 18 years! What’s there to fear?"

But as they spoke, a shadow suddenly shot past them, heading straight for the passageway.

Just as Song Er and Song San were about to pursue, a massive figure dropped down in front of them—Takizawa!

"Let’s have some fun! Don’t disappoint me!" Takizawa laughed maniacally as his body suddenly split in two, turning into two slightly smaller but more leech-like creatures.

Song Er and Song San exchanged glances. Song San took a deep breath and stepped forward, "Monster, you forced me... I didn’t plan on using this forbidden power!"

Song San inhaled deeply, causing his chest to swell.

Takizawa and his clone crouched down, keeping their eyes locked on Song San, not daring to move recklessly... Despite their frenzy, they hadn’t lost all reason.

Suddenly, Song San shouted, thrusting his palms forward. Tiny objects shot out, hitting Takizawa and his clone... but they didn’t hurt at all!

The small objects clattered to the ground—it was some of the untouched candy from the banquet. Takizawa froze, dumbfounded.

"Run!"

Song San shouted, and in an instant, both he and Song Er had disappeared without a trace.

Cithasil finally felt the oppressive force on him disappear, and he quietly breathed a sigh of relief, feeling as if he had been reborn.

He saw Luo Qiu sitting back in his original spot, gesturing for him to sit beside him. Then, Luo Qiu pointed to another nearby single-seater sofa and calmly said, "Sit."

Cithacyl swallowed nervously, slowly getting up while touching the black ring on his finger.

This was a product of the Magician's Association, capable of sensing powerful energies and serving as an alert mechanism. Cithacyl had set it to warn him whenever an energy that could threaten him was near.

Yet, in Luo Qiu’s presence, this usually reliable ring seemed to have malfunctioned. Cithacyl, filled with dread, couldn’t understand when such a powerful figure had appeared in the dark world.

Luo Qiu didn’t seem to possess the features of a non-human race. Was he perhaps a telekinetic esper?

"Relax. I don't plan to do anything to you," Luo Qiu said calmly, "And I trust you won’t try anything strange with me now."

Cithacyl forced a laugh—how could he dare? In fact, even if Luo Qiu had strange intentions toward him, he would gladly cooperate.

"What did you mean by ‘true blood’ earlier?" Luo Qiu asked.

It was hard to resist answering his questions; Cithasyl found himself wanting to speak freely. Surprised by this compulsion, he slowly began, "True blood refers to a specially produced substance that substitutes for the vampires’ reliance on fresh blood—a replacement, or an alternative to real blood."

"You feed on blood, but now you’ve created a substitute? Why?" Luo Qiu asked, puzzled.

It was like humans inventing meal replacement drinks, typically for people trying to lose weight. But vampires certainly didn’t need to diet, right?

Cithacyl gave a bitter smile. "We had no choice... Luo Qiu, how much do you know about the current state of the vampire clans?"

Luo Qiu responded calmly, "My family has given me some knowledge about the Thirteen Clans."

Family... Cithacyl glanced at Luo Qiu, growing even more cautious. If someone as powerful as Luo Qiu had family, it could only mean one thing.

Could he be from a lost family?

"Alright, then I’ll start from the Thirteen Clans," Cithacyl nodded, pondering for a moment before finally sitting down on the single-seater sofa.
