Chapter 765 743: The Competition Begins
Outside, the footsteps were urgent, and Bai Ge arrived with a group of South Korean police officers.
"Open the door," Bai Ge said coldly.
The police hesitated; the captain hadn't given any orders yet.
"Hurry up and open the door!" Bai Ge suddenly exuded a murderous aura, "If anything happens to him, your entire police station will be finished!"
The officers shivered, and one shouted, "Captain, we're coming in."
After shouting, there was no response from the room, and they hesitated for a moment, holstered their guns, and pushed the door open to go in.
As they entered and saw the situation inside the room, they were all astounded. What happened?
Jin Shuomin was lying on the floor, bent like a shrimp fried in a pan, blood still gushing from his head, clearly unconscious.
Another companion was also lying on the ground, and even their captain was lying there, his fat face beaten beyond recognition, his mouth wide open as if stuffed with something.
The captain intended to teach this person a lesson, right? How did it turn out this way?
The police officers were bewildered, yet the person who should have been beaten was calmly sitting there, still drinking tea, seemingly unsurprised by the events.
"Who did this? Was it you? Raise your hands. This is an assault on police officers." A policeman, after being stunned for a long time, finally reacted, immediately drawing his gun and pointing it at Ren Feng's head.
But the next second, his head was knocked, and Bai Ge tossed his gun aside, saying coldly, "What are you pointing at?"
The officers were furious but helpless. When this man arrived earlier, even the commissioner ignored him, but after one phone call, a higher-ranking official's call forced the commissioner to send them to fetch him.
Understanding this connection, they didn't dare actually do anything to Ren Feng.
Ren Feng put down his tea, stood up, and said with a smile, "Thanks, sorry for the trouble."
"It's nothing," Bai Ge laughed, putting a cigarette in his mouth.
Ren Feng followed Bai Ge out, leaving the officers looking around blankly.
In the hallway, Ren Feng saw the commissioner still waiting there, with a respectful expression but eyes filled with reluctance.
"Alright, no need to see me off," Ren Feng said with a smile to the commissioner, "Call for an ambulance instead."
Bai Ge was surprised, "What did you do to him?"
"Nothing much, just ensured he would obediently lie in bed for three months."
As Ren Feng spoke, he checked the time; it was already half past five.
"Has Rumei gone to the competition venue?"
"She's already gone."
"I'll go too."
Bai Ge nodded and took Ren Feng to the car, heading straight for the Seoul indoor stadium.
Upon getting out of the car, they saw a bustling crowd of South Koreans outside the venue, with a large number of police officers maintaining order, preventing entry.
"Isn't this crowd a bit much?" Ren Feng was somewhat surprised.
"More than you think, the venue is already full, and even more are watching via live stream," Bai Ge said as he led Ren Feng inside.
"Of course, this event touches on national pride and dignity; they're bound to pay attention," Ren Feng said, slightly mocking.
Approaching the stadium, some South Koreans nearby spoke to Ren Feng and Bai Ge in Korean, and upon not receiving a response, immediately began cursing.
"These two are Huaxia dogs!"
"Huaxia dogs, you're bound to lose the competition!"
"Korean medicine originated here, and our medical skills are stronger!"
The South Koreans seemed frenzied, and if not for the police barriers, they might have rushed over.
"I now feel we should thoroughly crush this nation's arrogance and trample their pride and dignity," Ren Feng said calmly.
"I feel the same, just hope the Traditional Chinese Medicine delegation can achieve it," Bai Ge chuckled.
With Ren Feng, they entered the venue, heading to the Chinese Medicine delegation's lounge.
Seeing Ren Feng enter, Liou Rumei breathed a sigh of relief, and Liang Keqing did too, approaching quickly to ask with concern, "Are you alright?"
"Why would anything happen to me?" Ren Feng smiled.
In the room, the traditional Chinese medicine practitioners were seated, some with eyes closed in relaxation, others leisurely reading; soon they would begin the competition. This battle was not only about Huaxia Traditional Chinese Medicine's reputation but also Huaxia's dignity!
Xv Jie, upon seeing Ren Feng enter, snorted, clearly despising Ren Feng as did the other practitioners.
Liou Rumei's employees were also present, not daring to disturb the delegation, so they sat quietly aside.
"Should we head to the stands?" Ren Feng asked.
Bai Ge nodded, "Wait here; I'll get you some tickets."
Moments later, Bai Ge returned with over a dozen tickets.
Handing out tickets to Liou Rumei and others, Bai Ge said, "Follow me, let's sit at the stands."
They followed him out, greeted by a deafening roar akin to a tsunami: the stands were densely packed!
A glance showed only people!
Such a scene was indeed intimidating, and 99.9% were South Koreans, waving national flags, cheering mightily.
Four massive HD screens above displayed the competition clearly, with countless media reporters below armed with cameras, and over a hundred live broadcast stations set up.
"Let's go; our seats are over there."
Bai Ge pointed to an area, leading the group to a front-row spot, populated entirely by Huaxia people.
Compared to the rest of the stadium, this small section was negligible; the Huaxia people were mostly students studying abroad or Huaxia residents in South Korea.
"It's not our home game, but if it were in Huaxia, I bet we'd overwhelm those South Koreans," an employee said angrily.
As they sat down, Bai Ge smiled, "Watch closely, I've got tasks to execute."
"Alright, call me if you need anything."
"Sure."
Bai Ge went off to his duties, while Ren Feng observed. The host had appeared on the scene, and though the event hadn't started yet, the warm-up was imminent.
The big screen showed competition images, and at the host's appearance, the stadium erupted like a tsunami, with South Koreans cheering madly.
"Cui Xianjun! Cui Xianjun! Cui Xianjun!"
The South Koreans cheered wildly.
Ren Feng glanced at the host, frowned, and asked, "Who is he?"
