Top-class Bodyguard

Chapter 561 - 541: Don't Be Afraid, I'll Win You Back

Chapter 561 - 541: Don't Be Afraid, I'll Win You Back

After leaving Jiuzhitang, Ren Feng immediately sent a message to Lone Wolf.

The medical manuscript that was unearthed is not important to others, but for Ren Feng, it's crucial!

The Nine Yang Tribulation in his body is a hidden threat; unless it's removed, Ren Feng won't be at ease.

So, the most urgent thing now is to find out how long ago this manuscript was unearthed, and most importantly, from which tomb it was excavated!

Lone Wolf replied immediately after receiving the message and promised to start the investigation right away.

After hanging up the phone, Ren Feng got into the car, still thinking about those two acupuncture techniques.

Those two acupuncture techniques are definitely real and effective. With them, he has a better chance of dealing with the Nine Yang Tribulation himself.

The Hummer drove forward, and just then, a car roared past Ren Feng.

Ren Feng turned his head and saw someone familiar in the driver's seat.

Jiang Moshu!

Ren Feng was somewhat surprised. Jiang Moshu seemed to be in a hurry, her brows furrowed, and she was driving a bit over the speed limit.

What is Jiang Moshu up to?

Ren Feng turned the steering wheel and followed directly.

Jiang Moshu's car sped towards a location near the outskirts, a place that looked worn-down, with an old grocery store beside it.

After confirming the name of the grocery store, Jiang Moshu parked the car and walked inside.

A burly man saw Jiang Moshu approach, and his eyes lit up: "Buying something?"

"Redeeming someone." Jiang Moshu said calmly.

The burly man stood up, looking at Jiang Moshu with a hint of lewdness in his eyes.

He led Jiang Moshu inside, stopping in front of a rusty iron door, which opened from the inside after a short while.

"Good luck." The burly man took another close look at the woman, then turned and left.

What appeared before Jiang Moshu was an old ghost-like person, who glanced at her expressionlessly and said calmly, "Follow me."

In front of them was a worn-out carpet, stepping on it felt like countless dust particles were squeezed out, dancing under the light.

This kind of environment made Jiang Moshu feel disgusted.

After walking through the oppressive hallway, Jiang Moshu's eyes suddenly opened up.

It was a spacious hall, filled with tables, surrounded by groups of men and women. Some were playing mahjong, others poker, and two tables were specifically for gamblers who liked to bet on dice.

The casino environment wasn't great, but it was decent enough for low to mid-level gamblers.

The old ghost walked along the wall, turned a corner, and stopped at the door of a room.

He knocked on the door, and soon, a man came out.

"Mr. Ma, she's here."

The man called Mr. Ma looked at Jiang Moshu, and his eyes lit up.

"Didn't expect that the beauty would call such a pretty one over."

"Cut the crap, where is the person?"

Jiang Moshu looked at the man with a monkey-like sharp face, with a scar that seemed stitched, causing the skin and flesh there to be twisted and raised.

He was holding a cheap cigarette, taking a puff from his cracked lips.

Disgust flashed in Jiang Moshu's eyes.

"Easy to say."

Mr. Ma flicked his cigar and led Jiang Moshu to the center of the room.

"Bring the person up."

Soon, the henchmen pushed forward a middle-aged man and a girl in her twenties.

"Mr. Jiang."

The girl couldn't help herself upon seeing Jiang Moshu, throwing herself into her arms.

"It's alright, Jingfu, it's alright." Jiang Moshu comforted her, then coldly looked at Mr. Ma: "How much does he owe you?"

"Miss Jiang, don't be so hot-headed." Mr. Ma smiled while sitting on his chair, but once he smiled, the scar on his face moved like a wriggling earthworm, making one's stomach churn, wanting to throw up.

"This father of your student owes me a million." Mr. Ma tapped his finger on the table.

"I have a card here, I can transfer the money." Jiang Moshu said coldly.

"I haven't finished speaking, Miss Jiang. What he owes is far more than that."

Mr. Ma stood up with a smile.

Jiang Moshu frowned slightly, looking at the girl in her arms and asked: "How much more does your dad owe?"

"He, he..."

Jingfu sobbed, unable to speak.

"Mr. Fang, shouldn't you be the one to talk about this?"

Mr. Ma looked at the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man appeared desolate, unkempt, with bloodshot eyes, seeming to have been gambling here for days.

He forced a smile, eyes filled with guilt, opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

"Useless." Mr. Ma shook his head, then looked at Jiang Moshu, "It's simple, he gambled your student to me."

"What?"

Jiang Moshu furrowed her brows, looking at the man not far away with even greater disgust.

How rotten must one be to gamble away their own daughter?

"According to our rules here, money can be repaid, but if a person is gambled away, it must be resolved at the gambling table." Mr. Ma's eyes roved indecently over Jiang Moshu's full figure, filled with lasciviousness.

"If you win, you can take the person; but if you lose, you belong to us."

Jiang Moshu said coldly: "I don't agree to this."

"Sorry, around here, my word is law." Mr. Ma sneered, and behind him, the henchmen blocked Jiang Moshu's path.

In her arms, Jingfu was crying, while the middle-aged man stood there, utterly embarrassed.

Jiang Moshu looked at Jingfu, frowning inwardly, wondering how she ended up with such a father.

Jiang Moshu raised her head, spoke coldly: "Fine, I'll gamble with you."

Jingfu is her student; she can't ignore this.

"Great, what do you want to gamble on?"

Mr. Ma's eyes lit up; if he wins this woman, it would be a great pleasure.

"High card." Jiang Moshu said as she dialed a number on her phone in her pocket.

"Fine, your rules."

Mr. Ma agreed heartily, but inside he was smug, having never lost to anyone in gambling.

Jiang Moshu brought new playing cards and shuffled them.

"Each draws one card, and the higher number wins."

Mr. Ma drew a card, and Jiang Moshu drew one.

"Club K." Mr. Ma revealed his card.

Not far away, the middle-aged man and Jingfu were watching Jiang Moshu anxiously, but Jiang Moshu didn't reveal her card.

"It seems you lost."

Mr. Ma sneered, "Show your card."

Jiang Moshu revealed her card expressionlessly; it was a Spade 10.

"I have 13 points, you only have 10, so you belong to me now."

Mr. Ma grinned lecherously, eyes filled with lust.

This was a huge win; the woman in front of him was definitely ripe and would be quite something in bed.

With a signal from him, a few burly men approached Jiang Moshu.

But suddenly, Jiang Moshu kicked forward in high heels, knocking down one of the burly men directly!

"Beautiful. Truly beautiful." Mr. Ma clapped and said: "With that move, Miss Jiang, I'm sure you can strike many poses in bed."

But then, he pulled out a handgun from his pocket, aiming it at Jiang Moshu's head, disengaging the safety, saying: "But you'd better surrender obediently."

Suddenly, a calm voice rang out: "Not necessarily."

Everyone was stunned, turning to see a smiling man walking down the hallway.

Jiang Moshu froze: "Why are you here?"

"I'm here to gamble." Ren Feng smiled at Jiang Moshu, saying: "Don't worry, I'll win you back."
