Chapter 894 - 894: Negotiation
"There's no room for discussion on this." Mason said domineeringly, then softened his voice, "Are you cold? How about I get you a cup of milk tea?"He remembered she loved drinking these things, she used to always drag him to buy them.
There's a small milk tea shop nearby.
Mason pulled Aurelia over to line up.
Aurelia glanced at the long queue and looked up, asking Mason, "Didn't you dislike waiting in line to buy this before?"
Previously, when she dragged him to buy milk tea, his face was as stormy as a rainy day. Maybe it was due to his grandfather being nearby that he didn't leave her and walk away immediately.
However, Mason wasn't impatient with this, he truly disliked it. He's someone who values efficiency, not liking to waste time on useless matters. In Mason's eyes, waiting in line for a cup of milk tea was a waste of time.
"Maybe I hadn't come with someone I like before." Mason casually replied, unaware of what Aurelia was contemplating.
Aurelia's eyes flickered slightly.
"Handsome, what flavor would you like?" The milk tea girl, though she hadn't seen Mason's face, could tell from his shape and face contour that he must be a handsome man, automatically ignoring Aurelia, her sparkling eyes fixed on Mason.
"Matcha flavor." Mason said; she liked this flavor, "Just one cup."
"Okay, handsome, please wait a moment."
...
Two minutes later, Mason came out carrying the milk tea, holding Aurelia's hand.
He handed her the milk tea, but she didn't take it.
Aurelia glanced at the cup of milk tea, raised her brow, looking at Mason, "Is this an apology?"
"No." Mason inserted the straw and put it in her hand, "There's no negotiating about the kissing scene."
Aurelia turned around to leave.
Mason quickly took two steps and grabbed her arm from behind, "Let's talk it over."
Seeing her resolute strength, Mason continued, "I understand acting is your profession, you don't want your work to be flawed due to your personal life, but from my perspective, watching my woman being held by another man and looking at another man with a loving gaze, what do you think I would feel?"
From behind, Mason embraced Aurelia, resting his chin on her head, and sighed helplessly, "Aurelia, I'm very jealous, I'm very domineering, possessive. I only wish for my woman to belong only to me, to look only at me, to allow only me to touch her, even if it's acting. But as long as I think of your heart having room for another man, it hurts my heart. I care a lot.
But I can understand you, and I'm willing to compromise for you. Still, this compromise isn't without limits, do you understand?"
Seeing she didn't speak, he continued, "I'm not opposing you taking kissing scenes, I just hope you would not take them for my sake."
Mason had never said these words before.
Aurelia looked up at him, into his deep eyes, and after a long while, said, "Understood."
"Not angry anymore?" Mason asked her.
Aurelia only threw the car keys to him, biting the straw, opened the door, and got into the car.
Mason glanced at her, opened the driver's side door, and got in.
The car arrived at the Nightshade Residence.
Mason got out of the car, Aurelia opened the door on the other side, walked briskly to Mason, looked up at him, "I've thought about what you said earlier. Acting is my profession, I'll try to avoid kissing scenes, but I can't guarantee I won't encounter any in the future."
Blood tint flickered in Mason's eyes, gritting his teeth, "If you can't avoid it, you must use positioning!"
