Chapter 903 - 457: Xuanqing and Luo Hou Train Little Hong Jun (Part 2)
A small figure darted quickly through the mountain forest and soon found a barbarian beast's lair.
He stared at the dark entrance of the cave, his black-and-white eyes twirling with a mischievous glint, then he tiptoed up to an Ancient Tree and skillfully climbed up.
"Hehe, the treasure Master just gave me, might as well use it." The little fellow pulled out a green, glowing leaf from his pocket and chuckled to himself.
Then he propped up his bottom, lying quietly on the tree top, waiting.
As the stars shifted and the celestial veil was gradually lifted, dawn began to break.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The ground shook and a gigantic figure slowly emerged from the cave.
It paused at the entrance, scanning the surroundings with vigilance.
The little fellow hid in the tree top, clutching the leaf, barely daring to breathe.
Luckily, the barbarian beast did not spot him.
The massive figure moved away step by step, disappearing into the forest.
The little fellow still did not show himself, continuing to lie prone at the tree top.
Sure enough, the huge creature returned again with extreme speed.
A streak of bright light flashed across the dim sky, like a dazzling electric python or silver snake.
The giant beast returned to its original spot, looking around and letting out a series of roars.
Birds were startled, scattering in flight, while leaves rustled and fluttered down in the forest.
After confirming there were no spies, the giant beast finally left at ease.
After waiting for a while longer, the little fellow saw that the giant beast did not come back, so he hugged the trunk and slid down.
"Truly, forgetting past lessons through the food, so many times and yet still careless!" the little fellow lamented in his childish voice.
"Haha, here I come!"
The little guy retrieved a prepared clay pot from the green leaf, sneaking toward the giant beast's lair with a sly grin.
Soon after, the giant beast returned.
"Awoo--!"
The thunderous roar reverberated far and wide, causing rocks to tumble and echoes to resound, as mountains and trees shook violently, with wild leaves flying and a sinister wind swirling.
All creatures in the wilderness were frightened, crouching on the ground, trembling.
Yet some Beast Kings gloated from afar.
That little rascal must have come again!
The Beast Kings of the Great Wilderness all knew that among the Human Race there was a fierce little brat, who still wasn't weaned at four years old, often venturing deep into the mountains to forage, and loved nothing more than stealing beast milk.
If he could beat them, he'd knock them out with a stick.
If he couldn't, he'd just wait and steal.
The lair was moved ten times, and yet he could find it again every time.
Truly outrageous!
The herd animals were deeply troubled, suffering grievously.
The Beast Kings even organized a hunt for this juvenile.
Alas, the opponent was truly savage, escaping and later catching a few Beast Kings to give them a good thrashing.
They were left with lumps all over their heads, all looking quite fierce.
And the crucial point was, there was an even fiercer presence backing the little rascal!
Upon this realization, the Beast Kings shivered.
...
The little guy who stole beast milk had already fled, wandering in circles through the mountain forest, targeting several weaker ones.
He knocked out ferocious birds, fierce tigers, poisonous Qiu, and the like with a stick.
The jars in the green leaf were filled to the brim.
Mostly with beast milk.
Also some fruits, beast blood, exotic treasures, and so forth.
"It's a pity that big tiger's saber teeth haven't grown in well, otherwise Master could refine a couple of Fierce Swords, and with the previous two, being of the same root and origin, an astonishing Kill Array could definitely be formed!"
The little guy felt remorseful, highly concerned about that fierce tiger, hoping it would quickly grow its teeth.
To that end, he even shared a jar of beast milk with the tiger, ensuring it was well-nourished.
"Tiger, don't waste my beast milk!" The little guy said earnestly, looking toward the tiger's lair.
All those beings feared him, stashing away their best beast milk, which grew increasingly rare, and this time he only managed to collect twelve jars.
If not for his deep bond with the tiger, he wouldn't have given away even one jar.
With the east growing brighter, the little fellow knew it was time to return.
So he quickened his pace, following his memory to raid a few more lairs.
With the Green Leaf Space completely filled, the little guy carried the load on his shoulder and hands, truly returning with a full haul.
After taking a few sips of beast milk to replenish his strength, the little fellow hummed a cheerful tune as he darted briskly toward the direction of the tribe.
"Kid, you've been wreaking havoc in the Great Wilderness again?"
On his way, he encountered the tribe's hunting party, all tall and mighty, with robust muscles and unparalleled Martial Dao Qi Blood. Such a team was fundamental for the Human Race to establish a foothold in the Barbaric lands.
"Ah, Uncle Tian!"
The little fellow stopped in his tracks, his eyes sparkling.
The leader, Tian Xiong, had deep and sharp eyes, carrying a hard bow on his back, covered in runes with hints of killing intent.
Tian Xiong looked at Hao, who was returning fully loaded, and felt quite emotional.
"Kid, you shouldn't venture out too often. The Beast Kings with power within a thousand miles are all retreating. When they move, their dependent fierce beasts also follow away. Although this is good, it makes it hard for us to catch any decent prey when we go hunting!"
His tone carried both pride and helplessness.
Since this milk-drinking kid followed the Sacrificial Spirit Lord to practice Martial Arts, in just a year, he had become nearly invincible in this Great Wilderness.
Even the intelligent Beast Kings would avoid him at all costs.
You see, he's only four years old this year—truly astounding.
"Hahaha, Captain, you don't know him yet. He's probably run out of stock and got greedy, so he went raiding beast nests. Look at his mouth corners, there's still milk stains!" the team member behind joked heartily.
"No way, Uncle Ying, don't talk nonsense!"
Hao's face turned red with embarrassment at Tian Ying's words, and he hastily wiped his mouth corners, only to find nothing there.
"Hahahahaha!"
A group of hulking men burst into laughter, intrigued by the milk-drinking child.
"This child is truly a prodigy. If he grows a few more years, he might be able to battle the demon beasts deep in the mountains. By then, we might all need to retire early!" A hunting team member pointed at the milk-kid, half jokingly said.
