Chapter 204 - 34: The Red Dragon Envoy from the Crimson Nest (Revised)
Brook gritted his teeth as he looked at Antonio, who was smugly satisfied. As a Black Dragon, he actually lost to a peer White Dragon, and lost quite badly.
"I’ll definitely win next time!" Brook spat the harsh words, then flew off the stage in disgrace.
Antonio hummed an obscure tune, flapped his Dragon Wings, and landed on the ground.
"Next up are Frost and Oceiel." The Dragon-blooded Human acting as referee announced.
Upon hearing the referee’s words, the two male White Dragons, each over seven meters long, exchanged glances, their Dragon Wings flapping as they soared onto the stage, full of battle spirit.
They were the only two Dragon Beasts hatched from the batch of over ten White Dragon Eggs. From birth, they possessed the Dragon King’s bloodline, allowing their bodies to grow, in just five years, to rival the size of juvenile Black Dragons.
Their over ten White Dragon siblings, born with them, still measure just over four meters, a stark difference compared to Frost and Oceiel.
But this is the system of Black Castle.
Dragon Beasts are raised as adopted sons and daughters, True Dragons as Advanced Guards. Only True Dragons, whose personalities have been modified to a certain extent, can obtain the Dragon King’s bloodline.
So far, only three True Dragons have obtained the Void Bloodline. They are Black Dragon Heloise, Black Dragon Brook, and Green Dragon Said (founder of the ’Dragon Knight’ school).
As time passed, all the young dragon battles concluded.
The Dragon-blooded Human acting as referee effortlessly lifted a massive black rock over ten meters tall and tossed it into the square. Then, channeling magic power, released the illusion ’Text Writing,’ leaving lines of strong, vigorous text on the black rock.
Over twenty young dragons crowded over, their eyes fixed on the text on the black rock.
[First Place: Antonio the White Dragon]
[Second Place: Brook the Black Dragon]
[Third Place: Heloise the Black Dragon]
[Fourth Place: Aeolus the Green Dragon][Fifth Place: Said the Green Dragon][Sixth Place: Oceiel the White Dragon][Seventh Place: Frost the White Dragon][Eighth Place: Kevin the Green Dragon][Ninth Place: Yulia the Green Dragon][Tenth Place: Geller the Green Dragon][Eleventh Place:...]
This is the Dragon Nest Battle.
It has been held since three years ago, a complete internal war between the Giant Dragons held periodically, with various rewards given based on the battle results each time.
"The top seven all have the Dragon King’s bloodline. That’s totally unfair! If I had the Dragon King’s bloodline, I’d definitely be stronger than any of you."
A Little White Dragon grumbled discontentedly.
"Heh, foolish. Who asked you to not suppress your vile nature... I remember you, White Dragon Oni, right? Some time ago you even ambushed Dragon Nest residents, and when questioned by the guards, you couldn’t resist your predatory beastly desire." Heloise nearby mockingly said.
"Hm." The discontented little dragon, upon seeing that the speaker was Heloise, ranked third, instantly didn’t dare say anything.
But after Heloise left, he venomously muttered, "True Dragon hunting low-level creatures is their honor!"
The Dragon-blooded Human observing all this shook his head slightly at the Little White Dragon.
"Led by beast nature; if uncorrected, you’ll only be eliminated next."
Each Five-Colored Dragon harbors a bloodline’s innate sin.
Red Dragons are arrogant and conceited, Blue Dragons are belligerent and furious, Green Dragons are cunning and jealous, Black Dragons are ruthless and greedy, White Dragons are beastly and foolish.
Black Castle’s basic standard for obtaining the Void Bloodline is that True Dragons can suppress and control the innate sinful nature inherited by their bloodline.
As for directly altering their personality? Like changing a White Dragon’s beastly foolish nature to calm and wise, that difficulty... it’s basically impossible for Black Castle’s current high-level educational capabilities.
Turning the view.
Udi transformed into a ferocious Dragon-man shape, walking alone down the foodie street of Monster City.
With one hand, he grabbed a fatty, oily crispy pig head, and took a bite, devouring half of it.
"Occasionally changing into Dragon-man form to eat, isn’t bad." Udi grinned.
With his current terrifying fifty-meter Black Dragon body, ordinary delicacies hardly have any taste.
Thus, several years ago, after Monster City became bustling and lively, Udi occasionally took on a three-meter-high Dragon-man form to wander the foodie street, enjoying pleasure.
Would his appearance attract attention?
Naturally, it would, given there are no Dragon-men in Monster City, and his appearance is so fierce and domineering.
However, seeing his immensely exaggerated muscles, protected by black Scale Armor, and his inherent arrogant air, the residents of Monster City dared not provoke him.
Boom!
"Ten more pig heads."
Unsatisfied after swallowing two over a hundred-pound pig heads in a few bites, Udi slapped his large hand on the counter, tossed one shiny Gold Coin, indicating to the Goatman owner to bring ten more.
The Goatman owner, standing at two-point-eight meters tall and also having bulging strong muscles, was but a weakling compared to Udi.
"Bro, how do you train those muscles..." The Goatman owner looked with envy at Udi’s exaggerated muscles, handing over the freshly roasted five big pig heads.
Devouring at a pace of two pig heads per mouthful, Udi was just about to reply when a terrifying Dragon’s Roar surged over from the distant sky, accompanied by a domineering, arrogant Dragon’s Roar.
