Chapter 1321: Epilogue 24 - The Virgin Queen And The Mad Woman (7)

Sara was standing right in front of me.

Right now, there were only two real paths I could take with her, and both of them had their own advantages. I could train her slowly, shape her into something useful, turn her into my spy and make her act exactly how I needed her to. That route would take time, patience, and a bit of effort. Or... I could just dominate her completely, break whatever resistance she had left, and take her ability for myself. If I did that, things would become much simpler.

If I managed to dominate her, then the ability I copied from her wouldn’t just stay the same. It would improve. That alone made the second option way more tempting than it should be. Her shapeshifting wasn’t just some surface-level trick either. It had depth to it. If it evolved under me, there was a real chance it could become something absurdly convincing. Convincing enough that Moriarty wouldn’t even realize he was being watched.

And that thought alone was... satisfying.

I could already imagine me watching him directly, standing right in front of him, wearing a face he trusted, while he remained completely unaware. That kind of advantage wasn’t something you just ignored.

I wanted him to feel it.

I wanted Moriarty to realize that his so-called board wasn’t something he could move pieces around on whenever he felt like it. It wasn’t something under his full control. It wasn’t even his anymore. If anything, it would become something I used instead. Something I controlled, while he sat there thinking he was still ahead.

If he believed he was already predicting my moves, already thinking further than me, then he was walking straight into a loss without even realizing it.

"If you want to drink my blood, Sara, then you have to follow my rules," I told her, keeping my voice calm, steady, and just a little firm. "Promise me that, and I’ll give it to you without hesitation."

"Yes!"

That answer came out instantly.

It was almost funny.

Right now, she sounded exactly like a dog that had just been told it could have a treat.

A very obedient dog at that. The kind that would sit, roll over, and probably do a backflip if you asked nicely enough. If she had a tail, I was pretty sure it would’ve been wagging so hard it might’ve actually knocked something over.

"The first rule is simple," I said. "From now on, you don’t kill. Unless I say so, you’re not committing any crime."

That one had to come first. There was no way around it. Sara gave off the kind of vibe where she might just snap and attack someone over something stupid, like a bad look or a random comment. That kind of behavior wasn’t going to work for me.

"The second rule is..." I paused slightly, making sure she was actually listening. "You only feed on me. You don’t go around biting other people. You don’t harm anyone. If you do anything like that, even once, then you’re not getting my blood again. And after that, I’ll send you straight back to Milham Prison."

"O-Okay..." she said quietly.

She nodded as she spoke, her expression more focused than before. It looked like she was actually thinking things through, like she was mentally listing everything I had just said and locking it in place. That part caught me off guard a bit. Considering how unstable she seemed earlier, I didn’t expect her to take things this seriously.

Guess she wasn’t as broken as she looked.

"And one more thing," I added. "From now on, you call me Master. You give your loyalty to me, and only me. No one else. Do that, and I’ll give you what you want."

She stared at me for a second.

Just a second.

Then her expression shifted, and she nodded again, this time with more certainty.

"Yes, Master!"

That was... surprisingly easy.

"For now," I said, "as a sign that we understand each other, you can start."

I lifted my sleeve, exposing part of my arm. The motion was simple, but her reaction wasn’t.

She froze for a moment, her eyes locked onto the spot I revealed. Then I saw it. Her lips parted slightly, and there was a faint shine there that definitely wasn’t there before.

She was already salivating.

Well, that didn’t take long.

The next moment, she moved.

There was no hesitation this time.

Her fangs sank into my arm.

It happened so smoothly it almost didn’t feel real. My skin wasn’t weak. It had reached a point where most things couldn’t even leave a mark on it. Blades struggled on it, and blunt force barely did anything. And yet, her fangs slipped through like it was nothing.

Half-vampire, huh.

That explained it. Their fangs could pierce through everything, after all.

Still, I expected at least some kind of reaction from my body. Some kind of pain, pressure, or something. Getting bitten like that wasn’t exactly supposed to feel normal.

But there was nothing.

She started drinking.

At first, it was slow. Like she was savoring it.

Then it changed.

Her movements became more eager and more desperate. Her grip tightened slightly as she leaned in closer, focusing completely on what she was doing. She started taking more, pulling more, and not holding back anymore.

And yet, I felt fine.

There was no weakness creeping in. There was no dizziness, no lightheaded feeling, or nothing that suggested I was losing anything important. If anything, I just stood there, watching her, and letting it happen like it wasn’t even a big deal.

Which, honestly, was a little weird when you thought about it.

She kept going.

And going.

At some point, a faint glow started to appear around her. It wasn’t bright or flashy. It was subtle, almost easy to miss if you weren’t paying attention. But it was there, spreading slowly across her body.

Then her appearance started to change.

The frail, almost skeletal look she had before began to fade. It was gradual, but noticeable. Her body filled out, her skin looked healthier, and the overall weakness she carried before started to disappear.

She looked like an entirely different person.

Well, not entirely different, but definitely better.

"Aaahhhh...~" she let out a long, satisfied breath.

That sound alone said everything. She was full.

Then she looked up at me.

Her eyes had changed.

There was a certain intensity in them now. A kind of look that didn’t really need explaining. Anyone could see it and immediately understand what it meant.

"Master...~" she murmured.

Before I could react, she moved closer.

Her tongue brushed against my neck, slow at first, dragging along my skin like she was trying to catch every last trace of what she had just tasted. Then she moved upward, toward my face, not stopping .

Her movements got more eager.

"Master...~ Haa, haaa...~"

Her breathing grew heavier, uneven, and almost shaky.

She didn’t stop there either. She leaned in further, her tongue brushing against my lips, then slipping past them like she didn’t even think twice about it.

At this point, there was only one thought that came to mind.

Was she in heat or something?
