Chapter 125 - 94: The One Hundred Million Dollar Transfer Student
Chapter 125 - 94: The One Hundred Million Dollar Transfer Student
Fitz High School, green sports field.
"Crawl pass! Crawl pass... block!"
The tall sports teacher, wearing a baseball cap, leaning forward, stared at the boy initiating the attack in the center of the field, directing the training with a fierce tone.
"Hold on, hold on! Yes, run... touchdown!"
The burly athlete broke through the layers of obstacles and rushed to the end line, letting out a shout of excitement.
"Jerry, you really are like a rampaging beast!"
The sports teacher patted Jerry’s shoulder and loudly praised him, saying, "Well done!"
Jerry threw the rugby ball to the side, flashed the teacher a bright smile.
He shook off the sweat from his forehead, briskly walked back onto the field, pulling up the opposing defender he had knocked over when he broke through the midfield line.
"Gu, sorry, I didn’t expect you to fall over with a gentle bump."
The tall boy’s tone was somewhat teasing.
Gu Weijing let out a breath, easing the faint pain in his ribs, and got up from the ground.
This was the physical education class.
Even in the last semester, sports was still one of the few mandatory courses that had to be attended at school.
The theme of each semester’s physical education class was different.
The themes for the lower grades were often simpler projects like basketball, tennis, soccer, while this year’s senior grade theme was rugby.
He had just been bumped hard when the opponent broke through.
Jerry was half a head taller than Gu Weijing and weighed nearly 100 kilograms, with a build as robust as a professional athlete.
In the collision, Gu Weijing practically felt like he was hit by a speeding truck.
"You violated the rules."
Gu Weijing felt that even his breath carried a hint of rust.
Their lesson rule was "flag football."
This is a sport rule evolved from American football, without needing protective gear, direct collisions are not allowed, more suitable for middle school students, and much safer.
This semester posed a challenge of upgrading exams for students, if someone ended up with a concussion or a fractured drawing hand, it wouldn’t be a fun thing.
"Don’t be so petty like a woman, you’re not hurt anyway."
A boy nearby showed a disdainful expression.
The Western-style sports course advocates a beastly culture. Although Jerry’s movements were a bit big, even the sports teacher said nothing.
Anyway, Gu Weijing just got bumped down.
"This is race."
Jerry’s face had no guilt, rather a little provocation, "This is a competition, if you don’t like it, you can quit."
Several boys showed ambiguous smiles.
Everyone understood the underlying meaning in Jerry’s words.
Gu Weijing had long been closely associated with the president of the female student council.
Jerry was declaring his sovereignty.
"This isn’t a contest, Mona is not anyone’s trophy, she is a good girl." Gu Weijing stared into the eyes of the opponent, getting up from the ground.
Just as Jerry was about to say something else, the sound of a car engine attracted everyone’s attention.
"Look? Isn’t that the principal, he’s waiting for someone in person." someone suddenly exclaimed.
The boys looked up.
At the edge of the school’s sports field, a dark Mercedes drove into Fitz School, stopping in front of the teaching building.
The principal of Fitz International Middle School was already waiting in formal attire by the teaching building.
The principal personally reached out and opened the door of the Mercedes, allowing the lady in the passenger seat to hold his arm as she got out.
"Wow!"
Even though most of the boys at Fitz International Middle School were considered local upper class, they were still astounded by this lady’s outfit.
The woman wore a beige Burberry trench coat, carried a pearl-colored small bag, her light golden hair swept back, and wore dark sunglasses on her forehead.
Beautiful, capable, elegant,
she looked just like those upper-class society ladies.
What surprised the students more was yet to come.
The lady opened the Mercedes rear door, a brown leather shoe stepped out, followed by an evenly toned white calf.
A porcelain doll-like delicate female student appeared in everyone’s view.
The rugby field was adjacent to the teaching building, the boys taking physical education class could clearly see the girl’s face, holding their breaths involuntarily.
"Is this the new transfer student?" someone exclaimed in surprise.
They were certain this female student had never been seen on campus before.
Such a beautiful girl, no matter the age, once seen, you couldn’t forget.
There were quite a few pretty girls at school, Miss Mona, the president of the female student council, was also pretty.
However, their beauty was different, Mona had that sharp style of a capable woman. Whereas this girl was the type that would make your heart skip a beat the instant you saw her.
Her features had both the sharpness of the West and the gentleness of the East, graceful in posture, without unnecessary embellishments, like a blooming lotus.
"She’s so pretty."
A boy gazed at the girl’s flawless profile, murmuring, "I think I’m in love."
No one mocked him.
This girl before them— that kind of purity, with a touch of cold sensuality, felt like the butterfly that appears in every man’s youth and then quietly flies away.
Making hearts race.
The principal pointed at the teaching building, made an inviting gesture.
The lady and the girl ascended the white steps in front of the teaching building together.
