"She woke up a few hours ago. She already took a bath and ate lunch. I tried to make her go back to sleep but she wasn't listening. She kept crying about how you left her alone, " Scarlett shook her head.

Keiran sighed. "Thank you for taking care of her, mom. You can go back. I'll manage it from here, " He replied.

Scarlett threw a small smile at the alpha as she walked towards the door. "Take good care of her, " She patted his shoulder before walking out.

Keiran nodded and locked the door as soon as his mother was out. He then looked down at his mate who was pouting while tears streamed down her face.

"Evelyn, I had to go to the warriors. I'm sorry for leaving you, "

"Am-Am I being a bother to you? "

"No-No, baby. You're not a bother, " Keiran wiped the omega's tears away.

Evelyn tilted her head. "B-Baby? "

Keiran was surprised. He expected Evelyn to be clingy but not this clingy.

"Then—Then lay down with me, " She stated suddenly. Her voice sounded desperate. "I-I felt like dying when you weren't here s-so don't leave me, " The omega whimpered.

Keiran made her look up at him. He placed a small kiss on her lips before walking towards the bed. "I'm not going anywhere, baby. Don't worry, " He said and slowly laid her down on the bed.

It was a beautiful sight.

The omega's long blonde hair was a mess. Her cheeks and lips were puffy and red. The oversized shirt looked like a dress on her.
