Chapter 861: Have You No Shame, Still Dare to Post on Twitter

A new message from half an hour ago.

Ghania Quinlan felt a chilling sensation in her blood as she looked down.

[Lighten Chaser tweeted at you. I’ve been following you for so long, I never imagined you were this kind of person. You’ve really disappointed me.]

[I’ve unfollowed you, goodbye.]

Before this, she wouldn’t have taken a fan’s words on social media to heart; she never intended to pursue a career as a star.

Ever since she followed Ivy Wilmar to Beijing and successfully got into Tsinghua University, she only wanted to break into the social circle of Beijing. She seldom updated her social media account, logging in only occasionally when she felt good to post a photo or two and share some soulful quotes.

She never expected her account to attract such heat.

But it was the kind of attention she least wanted!

Ghania Quinlan didn’t look at other mentions or private messages. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the trending hashtags and clicked on it directly.

Lighten Chaser had only two tweets.

One was a retweet of Wayne Baker’s tweet, mentioning Audrick Zachmann, saying it was her brother.

Then there was a new one from half an hour ago, retweeting the Verified account of the International Piano Association, in their usual concise and clear style.

[Lighten Chaser: @Ghania Quinlan, how do you like my stuff?]

She read those words line by line. The room seemed to darken in front of her, and she barely prevented herself from plunging into the abyss of despair.

The comments below were unbearable to read.

They were all one-sided criticisms against her.

Ghania Quinlan was emotionally fragile and didn’t have the courage to read them one by one. She only read two comments and couldn’t stand it anymore. Online, the arrangement shown in the photo posted by Steven had already been circled with a red pen, undeniable proof; she couldn’t refute it.

Ghania Quinlan stared at the arrangement above.

No matter how she thought about it, she couldn’t understand why, when Caryn Zachmann did these things, nothing happened, yet when she did them, she faced calamity!

Biting her lip resentfully, she felt that ever since Nathalie Quinlan had been acknowledged by her ancestors, she had been plagued with bad luck, including this college entrance examination and being called out by Lighten Chaser.

But she wouldn’t just fall like this.

She refused to give up!

Ghania Quinlan stared at the tidal wave of abuse online, bit her lip, and drafted a new tweet, her breath heavy as she sent it out.

Over at the villa, Nathalie had just finished a game with Sadam Vinson and Govert Griffin when her phone buzzed.

She exited the game and checked the messages from outside.

Her examination results were out, and the class group of Grade A was already on fire, all discussing what to eat tonight.

Besides that, there were a few other messages.

Nathalie didn’t look at them. She glanced briefly at the new notifications on Twitter with her cold gaze.

And she laughed.

Her natural demeanor was restrained yet wild, giving off a sense of brigandish charm. Usually, she was quite subdued and lazy, appearing disinterested in everything.

Now, with her legs crossed, nestled on the sofa, she looked at her phone and suddenly smiled. Audrick Zachmann felt he saw a glimpse of youthful spirit appropriate for her age.

"What’s up, Nathalie, not playing anymore?"

He leaned over to see Nathalie’s phone and immediately cursed, "Damn, does Ghania Quinlan have no shame, still daring to tweet."

Alfred Garland also came over and after reading the message on Twitter, his expression was indecipherable, feeling that Audrick was right in his criticism.

Nathalie, however, wasn’t as intense in her reaction. Her lips curved into an amused arc as she stared at Ghania Quinlan’s new tweet.

She clicked her tongue and laughed derisively.

"She really won’t cry until she sees the coffin, will she?"
