The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 851: Nathalie Made It to the Hot Search

Chapter 851: Nathalie Made It to the Hot Search

Ivy Wilmar knew that Master Steven was urging her for the new arrangement very urgently, and when she heard it had been submitted, she felt slightly relieved, hummed affirmatively, and haughtily remarked, "As long as it has been submitted."

While they sporadically discussed Nathalie Quinlan’s college entrance exam results, Myles Sullivan was also nearby. Hearing Ivy’s words, he slightly furrowed his brow, stood up, grabbed his phone, and told the two, "I’m going to make a phone call and check on Nathalie."

After all, behind Nathalie Quinlan were both Amadeus Yancey and Owen Yapiter. This sort of no-cost opportunity to show concern, Myles Sullivan still didn’t want to miss.

Watching him step out, Ivy’s mouth corners tilted downward, and she quietly picked up her water glass. She didn’t try to stop him, but there was a clear scorn in her eyes.

For Nathalie Quinlan this time, she was just a drowning dog. She thought it was good enough that she didn’t kick her while she was down; she did not want to put on a facade like Myles Sullivan.

On the other side, as soon as Nathalie Quinlan came out of her room, she saw the phone call from Myles Sullivan.

She glanced down at the caller ID, her eyebrows slightly knitting.

Audrick Zachmann noticed her phone light up, and seeing her not responding, he curiously asked, "Nathalie, why aren’t you answering the phone? Who’s calling?"

Nathalie picked up her phone, ended the call, and slipped the phone back into her pocket, her tone indifferent, "I don’t know them. It’s a wrong number."

"Oh, it must be one of those spam calls, there are so many these days, I get them all the time too. It’s so annoying," Audrick sincerely commented, his face contorting in distaste.

Nathalie didn’t speak as she headed towards the living room.

Alfred Garland was just passing by with some items, and upon seeing her coming downstairs, his eyes lit up and he greeted her, "Miss Quinlan, you’re awake."

Then he eagerly asked, "Isn’t the college entrance exam result released today? Miss Quinlan, have you checked? What’s your score?"

Audrick looked over as well, genuinely interested but didn’t want to pressure Nathalie Quinlan so he didn’t ask.

Nathalie found a spot and sat down, casually slouching on the sofa and pulling out her phone again, which kept chiming with notifications—all from Class A Group messages.

There were also a few private messages.

It was her usual tight-knit group of friends asking about her exam results.

[Nathalie, what’s your score?]

[Nathalie, have you seen the school’s online forum? What it mentioned can’t be true, can it?]

...

Several people brought up the online forum, prompting Nathalie to narrowed her eyes and search up No. 1 Middle School’s forum, where the post leaking her score was prominently floating at the top, evident by its popularity.

She clicked in and the leaker didn’t say much, just that they checked the number on the admission ticket and the resulting score was 0 points.

Below, however, there were quite a few voices leading the charge.

They claimed she scored zero, disrespected the examination, and tarnished the school’s reputation.

Nathalie merely skimmed through the posts and exited No. 1 Middle School’s forum, looking up just in time to meet Alfred Garland’s anxious face. She put down her phone and said, "I checked, the results aren’t out yet."

Audrick, whose agent had shown him screenshots of some of the online discussions, couldn’t help but ask, "It’s not zero?"

He also worried that Nathalie Quinlan hadn’t taken the college entrance exam seriously.

But he didn’t believe Nathalie Quinlan would actually score zero.

Nathalie, languishing on the sofa with a face showing signs of poor sleep, seemed almost expecting him to ask her that, but patiently replied, "No, it’s not."

"That’s a relief," Audrick patted his chest, reassured, then hesitantly said, "There’s quite some gossip about you online. Grandpa was worried it might upset you, so he just called secretly asking about your situation. I didn’t know your results so I didn’t dare say too much..."
