The public relations manager tactfully said nothing on their way and silently led her to the box that Sadam Vinson had booked, greeted her, and made an excuse to leave.

When he saw her coming in, Sadam Vinson raised his head and spared a moment to greet her.

"Caryn. You’re here."

Caryn Zachmann, holding a handbag, walked over and glanced over to indeed see the game interface on his phone. She pursed her lips without sitting down.

After Sadam Vinson sent a message to Nathalie Quinlan, he looked up to see her standing ramrod straight in front of him. He reflexively furrowed his brows, suppressing the impatience in his heart, and patted the space next to him on the sofa. "What are you standing there for, sit down."

Sadam Vinson, still giving her face, quit the game, set down his phone, and focused on her. "What is it, tell me."

"You know about Phoebe Hoffman being expelled from The Ninth Institute by Amadeus..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Sadam Vinson impatiently interrupted her, his expression clear. "Are you here to plead Phoebe Hoffman’s case?"

This direct and somewhat impolite question.

Since Caryn had always gotten along well with Sadam Vinson’s group thanks to Audrick Zachmann’s connection, and they had shown her special consideration, it was rare for them to speak to her in such a tone, and she wasn’t used to it.
