The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 760: Nathalie, Your Cover’s Blown_1

Chapter 760: Nathalie, Your Cover’s Blown_1

Her light words were like dropping a heavyweight bomb on the calm surface of a lake.

The conference room erupted into chaos.

"The Lizard’s Tail virus? Not the legendary Trojan virus, is it?"

"I’ve heard of this virus. It’s said to be one of the Trojan viruses created by the Red Alliance. This Trojan virus infects system library files, replaces system files, injects itself into system processes, and steals user information."

Someone rattled off as if listing treasures: "When this Trojan virus first appeared, it caused a huge uproar, but then the Red Alliance cleaned it up for some reason, preventing it from spreading widely. Is this considered a unique virus of the Red Alliance? I heard no one has been able to solve it."

"This Trojan program seems to be very covert; many infected computers can’t detect it, thinking it’s a software issue."

"Seems so. Didn’t expect to see a way to solve it today."

...

Brian Bonette heard the name Lizard’s Tail for the first time, and seeing the strong reaction from experts in various fields and then hearing about the Red Alliance, he had some idea. Frowning, he spoke with a grave tone to the man beside him, "The Lizard’s Tail virus? How could this virus be on a USB flash drive?"

Previously, Wallace Radcliff had sent someone to inform him about the general situation; he only knew there was an issue with the USB flash drive, and that Radcliff couldn’t solve it, so someone else was brought in to replace him.

Now it seemed that the USB flash drive was infected with a virus, and because Radcliff and Xavier Rabenstein couldn’t resolve it, Nathalie Quinlan was asked to step in.

"Is this the Red Alliance’s doing?" Brian’s handsome face couldn’t hide his worry as he looked at the girl on the stage, saying, "Can Nathalie handle it?"

He didn’t understand the Lizard’s Tail virus, but from listening to those experts, it seemed that there was still no solution to this virus to date.

"Or maybe..." His gaze shifted, landing on a man who rarely wore a suit, just about to say something.

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes were as profound as the ocean, interrupting him, "Wait a bit longer."

"..." Brian didn’t understand what to wait for.

The curve at Amadeus’s lips became increasingly reckless and unrestrained, his eyes deep: "Others might not be able to solve the Lizard’s Tail virus, but perhaps she can."

Brian was even more puzzled by his confidence, "Why can’t others, but you’re certain Nathalie can?"

"Because..." Amadeus started to speak, then suddenly stopped.

His gaze fell on the girl on the stage, his face sporting a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.

Quite indolent, yet fiercely protective.

Because he had found that Nathalie seemed capable of anything related to the Red Alliance, and was incredibly familiar with it.

If this virus was indeed developed by the Red Alliance, then Nathalie was very likely to understand the virus. If she said she could solve it, then she could solve it.

If Nathalie solved the Lizard’s Tail Trojan virus, then the answer he had been speculating about but couldn’t confirm would become clear as well.

As Amadeus Yancey thought of possibly uncovering yet another of her secrets, his thin lips couldn’t help but curl up, emitting a light chuckle.

Seeing him laugh in such a situation, Brian darkly withdrew his line of sight, not wanting to look at him, turning his head, his eyes locked on the girl on the stage, his heart suspended in mid-air, his back tensing up...

Apart from this virus that seemingly appeared out of nowhere from the Red Alliance, he had another concern—the complexity of Wallace Radcliff’s speech.

He had previously helped review it; there were at least ten pages of content, with no shortage of obscure and difficult terms. Nathalie was filling in for Radcliff on short notice, would she truly be able to do it?
