Stephanie Tanzil couldn’t believe the message in the chat window. She let out a long sigh, feeling as if the storm had cleared, and was surprised she was experiencing such a dramatic turn of events.

Anxious that the other party might change their mind, she immediately typed a response.

After the message was sent, silence fell once again.

Time ticked away by the second. She checked her watch several times, and as half an hour passed, she hesitated about whether to send another message to ask if the other person was still online.

Her hair was disheveled, her neck long and straight, her eyes harboring a certain defiance. When she spoke, her voice was slightly raspy, her speech slow, using her own voice to express her understanding of traditional music.

From both appearance and voice, it was clear—this was a young girl!

And very, very young, much younger than Stephanie had anticipated.

She had thought Lighten Chaser was male and at least in his thirties.
