Chapter 1824: Nathalie: I’ll Invite a Friend

The next day.

Nathalie Quinlan received another message from Jaycent Kingsley: "SN, do you have time to come over to Inderia?"

Nathalie propped her hand, half-squinting at the phone at the vague message Jaycent sent, resting her chin on her hand and absentmindedly thinking about how to respond to him.

In the living room, Sadam Vinson called out, "Nathalie, come team up for a game? We’re three missing one, just waiting for you."

Nathalie’s fair hand edited the text message and sent it back.

After replying to Jaycent’s message, she held her mug and leisurely walked to the living room.

The Rhine’s house was quite spacious, but no matter how big, it couldn’t squeeze in more people.

At this moment, Sadam Vinson and Govert Griffin occupied one corner of the black leather circular sofa, Candice Yancey and Brian Bonette took another, the four nearly taking up the entire sofa.

Nathalie came over to find there was no room for her to sit, so she dragged a stool from the side and sat down, saying to Sadam Vinson, "Pull me in."

She often teamed up with Sadam Vinson and the others in games, familiar with almost everyone in the team.

Sadam Vinson had broad social circles but never randomly added people.

When he invited Nathalie to play, it was usually with a fixed group of people.

Like Govert Griffin, Nadya Tucker, and some others from Amadeus Yancey’s small circle.

They were all acquaintances anyway, and never gossiped during games, only played together.

Nathalie enjoyed the relaxation, occasionally joining them when she wanted to unwind.

Of course, she didn’t play much, only joining in every now and then when she was free, and if something came up, she’d let them know and drop out.

Everyone had developed a basic sense of teamwork in the game.

"I’ve added you, see if you got the invite," Sadam Vinson came over early in the morning just to find Nathalie to play.

He even specifically dragged Govert Griffin along.

Govert Griffin was eager for more chances to interact with the pros and was more than happy to join and play.

Right now, he perceptively introduced the team members to Nathalie: "Ms. Quinlan, the flying fish is Nadya Tucker, the other two are Mr. Vinson and me."

Nathalie nodded, entered the game, and raised a brow at Sadam Vinson: "Why’s someone missing?"

"Uh... I didn’t call anyone since you didn’t come for a while." Sadam Vinson propped his phone up: "Wait, I’ll post a message in the group."

Before he could add more, Nathalie seemed to recall something and stopped him: "I know someone who plays this game too; let me bring him in."

"..." It was rare for Sadam Vinson to see her invite people, he paused and nodded, indicating he had no objection.

Govert Griffin and the rest were even less likely to have objections.

Nathalie scrolled through her gaming friends, which was linked to her WhatsApp.

She didn’t have many contacts on WhatsApp, less than ten gaming friends.

One of the avatars happened to be lit, showing online.

Nathalie sent him a team invitation.

Soon, her WhatsApp lit up first.

It was a new message.

[Evron Barness: ?]

[Evron Barness: Ms. Quinlan, I just received a team invite in the game, was that you?]

Nathalie kept it brief, typing just a few words.

[QN: We have a five-member team, just one spot left. You in?]

Her WhatsApp went silent.

But soon enough, the game interface showed Evron Barness joining their team.

"Who’s this?" Sadam Vinson noticed the unfamiliar nickname and couldn’t help but ask.

Evron Barness hesitated for a moment on hearing his voice but quickly responded, "Mr. Vinson, it’s me, Evron Barness."
