Chapter 1031: Nathalie: Safe Journey?
Chapter 1031: Nathalie: Safe Journey?
"Nathalie, I’m going to take off first. I’ll message you later."
Nathalie Quinlan’s skills are too awesome!
Way better than Govert Griffin and those guys in the group. She always leads them to victory lying down. Playing games with Nathalie is simply a pleasure.
If it wasn’t for Amadeus Yancey speaking up, Sadam Vinson would’ve really wanted to stick around and play another game before leaving.
But the thought of possibly running into Sun in the Illegal Zone tomorrow lifted his mood, and before he left, he waved at Nathalie Quinlan and didn’t forget his previous promise: "See you later. When I come back, I’ll bring you a gift. Bye."
"Ah. See you." Nathalie Quinlan said goodbye with her arm languidly drooping.
Once Sadam Vinson and Govert Griffin left, Alfred Garland showed great situational awareness, put down two cups of coffee, and headed outside: "Amadeus, I’m heading back too."
The spacious apartment was suddenly left with just the two of them.
Amadeus Yancey watched the girl pick up the mineral water from the table, seemingly planning to return to her room. He swiftly grabbed her and pulled her towards the sofa, propping his arms on both sides of the sofa, trapping the girl in his embrace.
His eyes were quite dark, his eyelashes casting a shadow, giving his pupils a profound look.
His voice was as deep as ever.
"Are you and Sadam Vinson very close?"
"..." Nathalie Quinlan had been dragged to the sofa, her head tilted back, her jawline smoother and clearer, her skin porcelain-white, her eyes dark and glossy. Seemingly stunned by the question, she looked at him with her beautiful, pure black eyes: "It’s alright."
Amadeus Yancey: ...
Nathalie Quinlan looked at him provocatively, her clear black and white eyes extremely dark, and then said, "Isn’t he your friend?"
The statement ’Isn’t he your friend?’ instantly calmed down the man who was about to explode.
Amadeus Yancey’s thin lips lifted slightly, his gaze retracted deep, filled with stars and seas, vast and wide as he watched her, and he actively changed the topic: "Do I really have to complete a three-month probation period? Can’t I start working earlier?"
It’s the first time he heard that being someone’s boyfriend required a probation period.
Before the probation period ends, you could be dismissed at any time.
This rule was quite novel.
But this feeling of possibly being kicked out at any moment was not very pleasant.
Amadeus Yancey’s eyes were profoundly deep, his voice slightly husky, and a bit flirtatious: "We’re about to part ways now, and can only meet after three days. As your girlfriend, don’t you have anything you want to say to me?"
Nathalie Quinlan felt agitated by the question and moved slightly, realizing that she was tightly constrained by him, then pursed her lips, raised her head, her black lashes casting a shadow, her face innocent: "Safe travels?"
"..."
Tsk, the god damn safe travels.
Amadeus Yancey’s eyes darkened further, no longer able to hold back, he leaned down, his thin lips pressing against hers for a kiss.
One hand pinched the girl’s round fingertip, vengefully pinching it.
He had only pinched Nathalie Quinlan’s finger lightly, and then couldn’t bear to continue, fearing he had hurt her, he restrained himself and let go, biting her on the neck, mimicking what she did last time, leaving his mark on her slender nape.
Reluctantly pulling away his gaze, he released her, his fingertips brushing over the strawberry mark he had made on her neck, his eyes darkening as he said: "Are you sure you don’t want me to accompany you?"
Nathalie Quinlan, having been bitten, looked somewhat speechless, tilted her head, and defiantly raised her eyebrows at him: "Don’t you have something to do?"
Sadam Vinson had said they were going out tomorrow.
Amadeus Yancey thought about the matter at hand, feeling somewhat annoyed, suddenly not wanting to go. He looked at her, pondered for a moment, then said: "Or let Alfred Garland accompany you."
