Chapter 1015: Amadeus: Call Sister-in-Law

[Only want those who are good at games; don’t bother joining if your rank is too low. We’re teaming up for a five-man squad, no noobs allowed.]

Govert Griffin saw him nonchalantly leaning back in his chair sending out the words ’no noobs allowed’ quite arrogantly, his mouth twitching as he remembered his own rank.

Looks like Mr. Vinson’s rank is quite noob-like.

A classic case of being bad at the game but talks big and has a huge ego!

After Sadam Vinson sent out the group message, he was oblivious to how it came off, then turned his head as if remembering something, and blurted out, "Nathalie, do you have a WhatsApp group?"

"Huh?" Nathalie Quinlan didn’t quite catch his meaning at first, just raised her eyebrows and gave a nonchalant hum.

Taking it for granted that she had a WhatsApp group, Sadam Vinson talked as if it were a given: "Amadeus and I have a group, you haven’t joined yet, right? I’ll add you."

As he said this, he looked down to figure out how to add people to a WhatsApp group and pulled her in without waiting for Nathalie Quinlan’s consent.

It was rare for Sadam Vinson to show up in the group chat.

The group chat was bustling with activity, with many people sending messages.

The moment Nathalie Quinlan was dragged in, she heard her phone go ding ding ding nonstop with new group messages.

Annoyed by the notification sounds, her temples throbbed a couple of times. She pulled out her phone and saw the group she had been forcibly added to.

When she first entered, no one paid any attention to her until Sadam Vinson mentioned her.

[@QN my sis, take care of things!]

Immediately, people started responding to her.

"So it’s Mr. Vinson’s sister, Mr. Vinson’s sister must be our sister too, hello hello, nice to meet you, I’m Natalio Heburn."

"Hello, sister."

And then a flood of messages calling her "sister" followed.

Nathalie Quinlan, supporting her chin with her hand, gave an irritated look, thinking she had stumbled into a nest of relatives with everyone mentioning her and calling her "sister".

Initially forced into the group by Sadam Vinson, she only posted an emoji without saying anything and casually scrolled through the group members, spotting a few familiar faces.

Amadeus Yancey was in there.

Alfred Garland was also there.

So was Brian Bonette.

Half-squinting her eyes languidly, she didn’t continue to see who else was in the group; she assumed Sadam Vinson wasn’t lying, this was indeed their usual gaming group.

She just sent a smiling emoji, and sure enough, people cheered her on, still welcoming Nathalie Quinlan to the group while joining Sadam Vinson in calling her "sister".

While Alfred Garland was driving, he couldn’t help but turn around distractedly upon hearing Sadam Vinson’s chattering behind him, and asked the man in the passenger seat, "Amadeus, has Ms. Quinlan joined the main group?"

"Seems so." Amadeus Yancey took out his phone, his mischievously handsome face catching attention as he unlocked it to check the group messages. Seeing the flood of messages acknowledging the sister, his eyes darkened, and he rolled down the car window to let the outside air in.

Meanwhile, with his elbow leaning on the window frame, he lounged in the passenger seat, holding his phone in both hands as he typed.

Others in the group were still trying to cozy up.

"Sister from McKinney? I’ve been to McKinney; such a wonderful place."

"Which school are you from, sister? I’ve got your back."

His eyes deepening, he looked at those IDs calling her "sister" and sent a slow message — [Y: Call her sister-in-law.]

At a nursing home in Beijing.

Mr. Zachmann was talking with Leonardy Zachmann.

Caryn Zachmann sat quite a distance away, unable to hear clearly what the two were discussing, only observing their serious expressions, which appeared to involve something important.

Bored, she sat there playing with her phone.

A nursing home attendant brought her a cup of coffee and placed it on the table.
