The Undying Transmigrator

Chapter 51: Alien Hillbilly

Chapter 51: Alien Hillbilly

Planets were a massive concept for humanity. Even Mo Wen from just a day ago wouldn't have considered planets as enemies.

Now, he similarly didn't view planets as obstacles, though his approach was slightly different.

Mo Wen passed by those inexplicably appearing planets.

Without atmosphere as a medium for force transmission, in the dark, icy vacuum of space, even the swiftest passage wouldn't cause any impact.

But the current Mo Wen was no insignificant being. The continuously overflowing psychic power and supernatural speed transformed him into something comparable to celestial bodies - a beacon.

If left unchecked, his very existence would naturally influence everything around him. The gravity that once bound time now knelt before the stronger force.

Every star he passed was displaced by his movement alone.

They might have some use, Mo Wen thought.

So he casually extended a fraction of his power toward the stars displaced by his presence.

Not to make them participate in battle or become his weapons, but simply to set them in motion, possibly keeping up with the changes.Qi Shiming watched the blossoming starlight.

Planets themselves didn't emit light, but when thousands of planets traveled at superluminal speed through an anomalous space constructed of psychic energy, their luminescence became unsurprising.

Yet he didn't understand why Mo Wen was doing this.

Energy Level 6 could certainly create miraculous battlefields, but was that meaningful for combat?

This power wasn't concentrated enough, nor precise enough to hit him, or even breach his defenses.

Was it just a casual flick?

No, that wasn't right!

An unexpected scene unfolded on the battlefield.

A massive wormhole materialized out of nowhere, with billions of tentacles probing forth.

This was part of some colossal beast, but just this fragment convinced Qi Shiming the creature's main body was larger than a star.

Energy Level 6 represented unprecedented power on Planet Avel, pioneering new possibilities for psychic energy. But in the vast, boundless universe, what did it truly mean?

Humanity never concealed its desire to conquer the cosmos, never stopped gazing at the stars. But only the most resilient heroes could maintain composure and exploratory determination after understanding the true nature of the celestial bodies.

Star clusters vanishing into thin air, anomalous gravity sources pulling billions of stars, unobservable regions moving at superluminal speeds...

Those terrifying creatures dubbed Star-Beasts were as common as stray dogs.

But vast numbers didn't imply weakness. They devoured stars, traversed the cosmos, reigning as ultimate lifeforms across the universe long before light could travel thousands of years to reach Avel. Some even inexplicably mutated observers.

And now, such a horrific beast had appeared in this subsidiary space that originally belonged solely to Zero!

Was there some flaw in the Corporation's technology?

Regardless, Qi Shiming already sensed the beast's malice and greed. It craved stars, desperate to devour all light and heat into its belly. Lifeforms that could only survive under stellar illumination were completely beneath its consideration.

Whether other lives were crushed by gravity or driven to despair by stolen light, it wouldn't bother considering such trivial matters.

And now, its first target was him! Its second target was likely the solar remnants of his Energy Level 6 demise!

It had to be killed.

Mo Wen shared the same thought.

This was his battle with Qi Shiming, his struggle for survival. If not for Qi Shiming's counterattacks matching his speed, forcing him to consciously reduce velocity, this trash wouldn't deserve to move even slightly in his timeframe, let alone block his path!

That infinite malice, in Mo Wen's current perspective, was like a hajime facing a hundred-ton truck accelerating in spinosaurus mode.

He didn't understand it, but he would kill it.

Get out here!

The wormhole suddenly expanded as the terrifying beast fully entered the battlefield. Limbs stretching millions of kilometers extended freely, as if celebrating destruction's arrival.

Immediately, Mo Wen passed through trillions of shredded flesh strips. A planet following him collided with the monster's body while another portion filed into the wormhole.

Even in Mo Wen and Qi Shiming's battle, superluminal planets proved utterly inadequate, never considered as weapons. Yet they still packed considerable power.

Like glass marbles kicked randomly by humans that could still crush ants unfortunate enough to be in their path.

Colliding with them meant disaster for any normal civilization or creature. At the moment of energy release, even physical laws would be briefly shaken.

The star-devouring beast's remains were erased. The wormhole and countless more monsters behind it were slaughtered like crushed ants. Mo Wen didn't even have time to notice how many intruders he'd eliminated.

The vast universe was always this cruel. Unknown catastrophes could erase thriving species and civilizations at any moment.

But this battle attracted more than just one type of monster.

During humanity's psychic energy research, they'd discovered various terrifying monsters born from psychic energy. These were the true forms of those horror legends, constructed from nightmares' deepest fears, seasoned with cruel and brutal hunter instincts.

Even when separated from the psychic-rich regions that created them, they could continue existing.

Spreading fear, slaughtering lives, harvesting souls - their thirst would never be satisfied.

Among humanity's unconfirmed theories existed another universe layer completely composed of psychic energy beyond the physical universe - their homeland. Current theory temporarily called this the "Warp."

Given suitable conditions, they would tear through the veil between Warp and physical universe, bursting into reality to be captured by new humans for research or... processing.

And now, they charged into Mo Wen and Qi Shiming's battlefield.

Countless tiny fissures blossomed across the combat zone as the monsters emitted strange resonant frequencies resembling insane laughter.

Then they observed the superluminal planets and the light resembling supernova explosions.

"? "

Mo Wen and Qi Shiming didn't hear Warp-specific profanity. These weak evil beings couldn't make their feeble voices heard on this battlefield.

They died in batches. Those fortunate enough to be at the battlefield's edge desperately tried fleeing back to their homeland. But the two Energy Level 6 beings' gravity constantly pulled at them, inevitably drawing them into the conflict's aftermath. This bizarre space continued being reinforced, distorted, and made harder to breach by overflowing psychic energy.

When they stepped into this forbidden zone, their lives were no longer theirs to control.

But fortunately, they weren't the only ones trapped in this meat grinder. Many ancient beings far stronger than them were also drawn here.

Could they become hard objects that might block the meat grinder's blades?
